“Jacob went above and beyond for our dogs. We were going out of town for a couple nights and have never used a service like this. We had some reservations and anxiety about how the process but Jacob put all those concerns to rest. He promptly answered my request and by the end of the day we already had our meet and greet. My husband and I have two female dogs, an 8 year old Doberman and a 3 year old hound mix. The 3y/o is a rescue and is very timid around new people, especially men. She warmed up to Jacob faster than she has to any new person she has ever met. Both of our girls require medicine administration and he did so without any issue. One of the best parts of our trip were the thoughtful and detailed messages we would receive from Jacob after each check in he did with our dogs. I especially loved the picture included in the updates. He really did treat our girls as his own and his passion for animals is evident in the work that he does. Happy to answer any question you have 😀 I'm a full-time junior studying business law, so I have a flexible schedule that lets me give your pet real attention, not just a quick in-and-out. Your dog will be treated like a true member of the family, with constant supervision, plenty of affection, and a consistent daily routine. My mom is also registered on Rover and will be right there loving on your pup too, she calls herself their honorary godmommy 😊. 🐾 Small Group Boarding: I keep things limited to no more than 3 dogs at a time, including Storm, so every dog gets a calm, attentive environment where they can play safely and rest easy. 🐾 Senior & Special Needs Care: I'm happy to care for senior dogs and pets with special needs. Since these dogs may need extra attention or physical assistance, I'll work with you directly on the details based on what your dog requires. 🐾 Separate Feeding: To avoid any food guarding or anxiety, every dog is fed separately. I do have an apartment, however there is tons of safe and surveilled space to walk dogs and they will easily be able to go on mile+ walks if need be. My dog is another member of the family and I do mean that literally. She is treated as such and even eats at the same time as us (when she feels like it) and your dog will be treated no different than her as all pets deserve the best.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was young. I grew up with dogs in my home and currently have two dogs of my own, so I know how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to find someone you can trust with them. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I truly love all fur babies and would be so excited to care for yours! 🐾❤️ I am currently a part time student at Anne Arundel community college. I also have a part time job. My weekends are available. Weekdays I have a lot of free time during the day between classes before I head to work at 2:30-5:30 (usual hours). Safety is my top priority when caring for your pets. I will always make sure they are supervised, secure, and comfortable, whether we are out on a walk, during a drop-in visit, or staying overnight. I follow each pet’s routine and any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and anything else that helps them feel at home.

About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.

About: For 18 years I have cared for my own dogs and dog sat for friends and family. I worked at a vet clinic for 4 years ending 13 years ago. Familiar with many breeds and comfortable with them as well. I currently working full time but my husband works from home completely so we always have a person around, including my kids who are great care takers. I work from home usually a day or two. I have a 6 foot fence and 2 friendly dogs to keep your furbaby company. No other pets are in the home. We are great with giving meds and love to all animals.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young, I love dogs. I enjoy meeting their different personality traits and getting to know them. Dogs make my heart melt. I will take care of your dogs as though they are my own because i know the fear that comes associated since I’ve kept my dog with others myself. I have a pitbull and a chihuahua as well as 2 cats so I love any size, any attitude. They’re all perfect lovable creatures & I really enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them or even just laying with them and cuddling. My dogs are my best friends and I would like to make your dogs the same way. They need lots of love attention and affection and I’m willing to provide that when you aren’t able to! I’m currently in school for social work so I have a lot of extra time on my hands, I love filling it with our furry friends. I understand all methods of caretaking when it comes to our pets. If your dog is a jumper, I’ll always watch and make sure they don’t jump over any fences. I am somewhat of a hover parent myself & I keep such an eye on my pets, they’ve never had an accident resulting in a vet visit. I also understand sensitive stomachs & our babies that are dying to eat everything, itching for a vet appt but not on my watch. I multitask well so your pet will never go unnoticed.

About: I have been walking and sitting dogs for over 20 years, starting at age 11 when I realized dogs just made sense to me. I have owned hounds my whole life and currently share my home with a spirited beagle/jack russell mix named Tate who keeps me well-practiced with high-energy breeds. I recently lost our beloved 11-year-old foxhound mix Juniper, a gentle 70-pound soul who reminded me daily why this work matters. I am a firm believer in Cesar Millan's calm, assertive approach to dog handling. Dogs respond to confident, consistent leadership, and I bring that to every walk and every stay. I am comfortable with all breeds, large and small, and experienced administering medications and hands-on therapy when needed. I work from home in central Annapolis, which means flexible scheduling and plenty of attention for your dog during the day. Your pup is a member of your family and I always treat them like a member of my own. I own a design firm that I run out of my home. My work varies as a creative from video work to graphic design and more but it all comes from my home office located right next to my dog's food and water bowls (my hound dog Tate is currently asleep at my feet- exactly where he loves to be, and right where I love to have him). My workdays typically start around 7am and I work through the early afternoon, occasionally in the evenings. Though I have a full office setup, I also have a laptop that travels with me during house/dog sitting sessions if I need to be away for an extended period of time. As my work is on the creative spectrum, I can always adapt my schedule to fit around yours (and your pup's). Whether it's daily walks or stays with your dog, you can rest assured that they will be looked after with love, care, and the attention they deserve. I live in an apartment in Annapolis so we don't have a fenced in yard. Instead, I take my boy out in the neighborhood on short and extended walks and in the community dog park. Sniff spots and local trails are always on our schedule as our dog is high-energy so he thrives on long walks with lots of smells. Depending on your dog's needs and routine, I'm happy to take them on long walks in and around your neighborhood and parks they're comfortable with, or just playing with them in your own backyard. I'm also open to taking them further out to nature hikes and trails as long as you're comfortable with that. I tend to have Blue Buffalo, Newman's Own, and Charlee Bear treats at the ready (but of course that's up to your discretion) for good dogs and I always adhere to any diet or medication requirements to ensure a happy and healthy experience. I treat your dog like I treat my own and I've always had a great experience with every breed and personality.

“Pros: - Fed them - gave them meds - took them for potty - First time they came they stayed the fully scheduled amount of time - Willing to come to our house before scheduling so the dogs could meet them. Cons: - Only stayed between 12 and 17 minutes for three of the four drop ins - On the second night they didn’t get to our house until two hours after their scheduled time (we have security cameras in our house so we could see). I messaged them and tried calling but they never responded and the call went straight to voicemail.”
