Growing up, I had all kinds—from dachshunds and pit bulls to Australian Shepherds and lovable mutts—and I’ve fallen in love with each and every one. I’ve previously worked at a veterinary hospital as well as a pet boarding facility, gaining hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’m now a stay-at-home mom to two beautiful, animal-loving girls who may occasionally join me. I truly believe dogs are best friends and should be treated as such. About: I've grown up surrounded by animals, from little chihuahuas to big dobermans, and from your grumpiest cats to your sweetest ones. My mother loves to tell people I talked to animals before I talked to people. I am able to read and adapt well to your pets needs, providing the proper love and care to satisfy both you and your furbaby! I am a full-time high school student, and will be able to drop by after 3 pm on weekdays and at any time on weekends. I also do have a part-time job for a couple days out of the week but I make sure I'm able to stop by in between school and work to let them out and feed them! I am very good at reading animals, and will give them as much love or space as they want me to! About: I have owned pets most of my life. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and many other animals. I am also great with plants. I have been pet sitting outside of Rover for many years. I have a very sweet pit mix and do not discriminate against any breed! I understand the importance of trust and communication while allowing someone to care for your pet! I will always go above and beyond to give extra love to your furry friend, not just take care of basic needs. I keep a well stocked pet cabinet and bring supplies with me for sits, drop-ins, and walks. Anxiety, tummy issues, allergies, discomfort, first aid, grooming, enrichment- you name it, I'm prepared. I've handled several medical emergencies. I take the responsibility seriously. You can trust your family member will be properly cared for in any situation. Any concerns or changes in routine will be addressed with you immediately. *If interested in boarding please note that I do have a 66 pound Pit mix. He previously lived with another dog, a cat, and two toddlers. He is very friendly with absolutely zero aggression. He will not stand up for himself. I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am up and available at most hours, early morning and late at night included. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!

Price was very reasonable, especially compared to big boarding facilities in the area. I was a bit worried as my dogs can be a little rambunctious and unpredictable but all the dogs got along great and had a good time. Shane sent many pictures to keep us in the loop. He reassured us that he would keep a close eye on Enzo and Mac as they like to escape/get into trouble. Overall, very pleased and will use them in the future.”

About: Dog mom to a friendly 3-year-old Lab mix and passionate about providing loving, attentive care. I’ve owned a dog for the past 12 years, but grew up caring for my friends and neighbors pets. Your pup will enjoy plenty of attention, walks on the Baltimore & Annapolis Trail, or relaxed time in our fenced backyard. Whether they’re young and energetic or a senior who prefers a slower pace, I’ll treat them like family and care for them as if they were my own. For boarding, during the work week we are not home from 8:30-2:30. We will be home all day on the weekends. For walking and drop ins, I am available in the afternoon and evening during the week, all day on the weekends. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a secure fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy time outdoors. We have indoor cameras to monitor the house while we are at work. Our friendly 3-year-old Lab mix loves meeting new canine friends and provides great companionship for visiting dogs. I carefully supervise all interactions and make sure each dog feels comfortable in our home. We have an 11 year old and 6 year old that both grew up with a dog and are very caring and respectful of boundaries. They will be supervised while with your dog. Whether your pup enjoys active play, relaxing in the yard, or extra attention and cuddles, they’ll be treated like a member of the family in a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment.
