“Eli was awesome! My dog is somewhat shy but she took to Eli right away. Eli picked my furbaby up and once he was back to his home he sent a picture of my pooch and where she had her kennel setup. Skittles was able sit and stare out the windows, which she loves to do. I received plenty of pictures to put me at ease. Eli also had a camera setup so I could see my dog if I wanted!!! About: I have owned pets most of my life. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and many other animals. I am also great with plants. I have been pet sitting outside of Rover for many years. I have a very sweet pit mix and do not discriminate against any breed! I understand the importance of trust and communication while allowing someone to care for your pet! I will always go above and beyond to give extra love to your furry friend, not just take care of basic needs. I keep a well stocked pet cabinet and bring supplies with me for sits, drop-ins, and walks. Anxiety, tummy issues, allergies, discomfort, first aid, grooming, enrichment- you name it, I'm prepared. I've handled several medical emergencies. I take the responsibility seriously. You can trust your family member will be properly cared for in any situation. Any concerns or changes in routine will be addressed with you immediately. *If interested in boarding please note that I do have a 66 pound Pit mix. He previously lived with another dog, a cat, and two toddlers. He is very friendly with absolutely zero aggression. He will not stand up for himself. I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am up and available at most hours, early morning and late at night included. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!

“Rachel was excellent with our senior dog (Bentley). She took on the assignment at the very last minute due to our original Walker coming down with an illness. Ulthough a last minute request, Rachel came over the night before to make sure she met Bentley and to introduce herself to us. We explained our walking and feeding processes to her, and she was very accepting to the routine. While we were on our trip, Rachel sent us numerous pictures of Bentley either at home or on his walk. She kept us well updated on his activities. Unfortunately, while we were gone, he did have some accidents in the house, and Rachel cleaned them up and took care of making sure that everything was disposed to properly and that the rags used to clean up the mess were washed. About: I’ve always been around animals—I currently have a dog and three cats, so I’m used to daily care, feeding, and handling different personalities. I’ve also helped take care of my mom’s and brother’s pets over the years, so I’m comfortable stepping into someone else’s routine and making sure their animals are taken care of the right way. I’m patient, reliable, and I actually pay attention to details like feeding schedules, behavior, and making sure pets feel comfortable while you’re away. My schedule is pretty consistent, so I can plan around your pet’s needs. I’m available most days and can do mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on what’s needed. I already take care of my own pets daily, so feeding, walks, and check-ins are part of my routine. I’m flexible and good with sticking to whatever schedule your pet is used to. I treat other people’s pets the same way I treat my own. I pay attention to routines, feeding instructions, and behavior so your pet stays comfortable and stress-free. I have experience with multiple animals at once, including my own dog and cats, so I’m used to different personalities and energy levels. I keep a clean, safe environment and can follow any specific instructions you have, including crating if needed.

We have two Belgian Malinois, which are definitely not the easiest dogs to care for, but Jacob knew exactly how to handle them and understood everything we asked of him. We really hate putting our dogs in boarding facilities, so finding someone we could trust and who understood how much our dogs mean to us was extremely important. Jacob was always on time, communicated with us throughout our trip, and has such a wonderful, energetic personality—which was perfect for our dogs! They were very well cared for, and knowing they were in such good hands gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We usually don’t leave reviews, but Jacob truly deserves one. He was an amazing pet sitter, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone responsible, caring, reliable, and great with high-energy dogs.
