About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.
About: I have three dogs, ages 3, 6, and 14, as well as a 3-year-old cat. I’m passionate about animal care and have dedicated time to helping my community by working around my neighborhood and volunteered at the local shelter, where I walked the dogs. I’m so excited to offer my help and look after your animals! I am a college student on summer vacation! I am looking to help out with anything that is needed and have a great time. My schedule is currently very free so I am excited to meet you and your pet! I have a fenced yard, so I like to run around with my dogs. I also take them on walks around the neighborhood. Whatever you need for your dog, I can help with!
About: I have taken care of family and friends dogs most of my life. Love both dogs and cats! Always looking to make new furry friends I work from home so I am very flexible with my schedule and weekly routine. Reliable for last minute requests as well as long term ones Very flexible with different environments. I have a lot of experience with animals of different temperaments and always respect the owners wishes concerning how they would like their animals taken care of
About: I've recently graduated college and now have a lot of free time on my hands. I love animals so much(perhaps more than people...). I have experience in taking care of dogs of various sizes and temperaments. Growing up I've had a puggle, boxer, and now two german shepherd mixes who were adopted from shelters. I've volunteered at animal shelters where I walked, cleaned, brushed, and fed dogs. Furthermore, I've pet sat for neighbors and family members. My dogs live with my parents in Cascade, so I don't live with dogs nor other humans at my house in Annapolis. I would love to take care of your pets! I will be starting a program that runs from M-F 9-3:30 soon, but am available after 3:30 M-F and all day on Saturdays/Sundays. I could walk, feed, or let out your pets before 9 as well. The M-F schedule will change come the end of July which would give me more availability on those days. When I'm at my parent's house, I let my dogs out in the mornings, feed them breakfast and dinner, give them medicine, go on walks/hikes, practice tricks and obedience tasks with them, and play with them. I'm more than happy to provide these services in my client's home too!
“Pros: - Fed them - gave them meds - took them for potty - First time they came they stayed the fully scheduled amount of time - Willing to come to our house before scheduling so the dogs could meet them. Cons: - Only stayed between 12 and 17 minutes for three of the four drop ins - On the second night they didn’t get to our house until two hours after their scheduled time (we have security cameras in our house so we could see). I messaged them and tried calling but they never responded and the call went straight to voicemail.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life growing up and been a pet owner for 18 years. I have walked, feed and cared for our family’s, friends, and neighbors. I’m am great with younger pets that need to release some energy and great with older pets that need a little bit more patience and time. I can’t wait to meet your pet and give a helping hand to your family. I’m completely flexible any days and times. Happy to do a meet and greet free of change! I currently own two pups named Dunkin and missy and a cat named bonnaroo. Which I care routinely. I don’t have any other big jobs right now so my main goal is focusing on the animals and making sure they get exercise. I love to get exercise and walk with my dogs. Also love to throw the ball with my dogs. By also Making sure they have food and water and stay healthy.

About: Lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors. I grew up with two family dogs and now have a 6-year-old “super mutt” named Mija who completely runs the household (and honestly, I’m okay with that). I’m responsible, trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely happiest when I’m around animals. Whether your pet loves long walks, belly rubs, playtime, or just a calm comforting presence, I’ll care for them like they’re my own. I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously — while still making sure your furry family member has a fun, loving experience. I currently work part time in e-commerce and my availability is very flexible. I’m working towards a real estate license and my long-term goal is to retire my mom! I have experience caring for and walking dogs of all breeds and sizes, including large breeds that require confidence, awareness, and strong handling skills. Safety is always my top priority, and I have exceptional risk assessment when it comes to walks, environments, and interactions with other animals. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following specific care instructions and routines. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand how important structure, consistency, and enrichment are for pets. My own dog thrives on her daily routines and knows exactly when it’s time for walks, dinner, and her nightly “search and find” game. I genuinely love building trust with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away.

About: I have helped take care of my dog for the past 5 years, along with occasionally taking care of and walking friends and families pets for years! I’m recently graduated from Jacksonville University, and am living with some family in Edgewater this summer! While I plan for grad school, I’m nannying, but am looking for some extra money and thought taking care of some pups would be perfect! I’m very flexible and am available most weekdays and weekends this summer. I will not be able to boards your pups, but am an extremely responsible 22 year old, who will play with and give your pups all the love!
About: I have always grown up surrounded by dogs of all breeds and cats as well! Personally, my family always had golden retrievers (okay, I have a soft spot). Over the years, I have always watched neighbors or family pets, including my own. I’ve helped manage any illnesses that may have come along with any dog or cat needing medications or special therapy! I have a LOT of experience with puppies and the training/ time that goes into that development as well. I also am active, so spending time and keeping the dogs and cats I watched busy and playful is super important to me. Overall, treating the pets around me like family has always been second nature to me and I hope to bring that quality to you! I will be starting a new sales role 9-5 in downtown Annapolis! With that said, my availability April 1st will move to mornings and evenings - drop ins/ walks. The remainder of March is free for all times of day! I live in an apartment that is not quite the right size for a dog of my own - however, I am excited to be taking up this opportunity through Rover as a way to still hang out with animals whether it be check ins or walking through town. Building trust is huge for me and so I hope that with future clients that is something that can be earned! I am reliable and respectful and most importantly eager to work with you 🙂
“Bella is a great sitter! I left my 3 babies in her care for 10 days while on vacation out of State and she was reliable, punctual, and took care of Mattie, Stella and Biscuit with much love and attention. I received photos and updates daily. She was always reachable by either phone or text. Thanks Bella!!”

“I highly recommend Kacie. She took care of my dog while I was away, very reliable and attentive. And the most important part was that she accommodated her schedule to my needs. She is Very professional and trustworthy, I would def be using her services again in the future.”

“Jazmin has been highly communicative, very proactive, and sent me a lot of photos of the fur babies, which put me at great ease. She’s also been very punctual and checked in with me during the visits. I so appreciate that kind of thoughtful support and strong communication! Will be reaching out to her for future pet care. Thank you, Jazmin!”

“Whitney is my go-to catsitter and she's watched my cats multiple times. She's reliable, will check on the house and gives great updates. Also, my cat can be grumpy and Whitney doesn't push her or take it personally, so I appreciate that!”

“Liza is the BEST! This was the first time Liza visited Ruby and we will definitely request her again when we need a sitter. She was understanding of my concern for Ruby’s care. I appreciate her attention to details, her communication with photos and her interaction with Ruby. We came home to a very happy pup.”

Marley was absolutely fantastic with our 5-month-old puppy, Goose! He’s definitely a handful, but everything went incredibly smoothly. Her quick and consistent communication before, during, and after her visit gave me complete confidence that he was in great hands. I also loved the pictures she shared and appreciated the updates throughout her time with him. I would happily have Marley watch Goose again and highly recommend her!

Jacqueline is kind, reliable and professional. She also communicates well and is very patient. She took detailed notes on my dogs’ specific needs and quirks, which helped me to feel very confident that they would be in good hands. She took the time to send photos and notes after her visits. I was so surprised by how quickly my rescue dogs got comfortable around her! I feel that anyone would be lucky to have her help with their fur-babies :) We look forward to her helping us out again!

Mara was amazing at caring for my very senior special needs dog and our other dog who doesn't warm up to people so well (but Mara's energy won her over). She provided great pictures to let us know they were doing well. Also, I appreciated how she accommodated our last minute booking when I was having trouble finding anything dog sitter. She's highly skilled and a literal dog whisperer. :-)

This was our first experience with Rover. Ava was professional, timely, and provided great communication during pet sessions. We came home to a happy dog, and a clean home ( Ava even pulled the trash cans down the night before needed due to our late return!!). Definitely worth the price for not having to corral several neighbors to coordinate pet care.

Caitlyn has been wonderful with our dog, Hobo. She was flexible and added in extra walks when we called from vacation and needed it. Her visits have always been lengthy with lots of exercise and playtime, and she was willing to come early mornings and late at night. She sent lots of pictures and it was clear that Hobo was having a great time with her. Caitlyn definitely went above and beyond and I would recommend her 100%.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
