I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. During the week your dog won’t be left alone for more than an hour depending on drop off and pick up time. During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. This is to ensure the safety of my dog and if I am boarding or hosting daycare for another dog. During the week I do work full time so there are times where I am in meetings so it is preferred your dog is not destructive, okay without supervision, or is okay in a crate or enclosed room. I communicate my anticipated work schedule and plan for the day with the pet owner.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and love playing with and training them. I unfortunately lost Axel, my shepherd/husky mix, last year. But I still have Harley (technically my boyfriend's, but we've lived together 3 years now). Harley is a sweet, 4-year-old, 40 lb spayed female mystery mix who loves to play, especially with other dogs. We go for lots of walks each day and we like playing, learning and practicing tricks. She knows the basics and can also spin, place, go around you, and now we're practicing crawl. I think people could learn a lot from dogs if they paid more attention. I've started dog sitting for neighbors the past few years and always enjoy getting to know new dogs. One of my favorite dogs I've cared for is Goose, a 5-year-old male Chesapeake Bay retriever. I also work managing a restaurant in town and do graphic design part-time from home as well. I work managing a restaurant downtown in Annapolis, and also do freelance graphic design work from home. Except for Mondays, my shifts at the restaurant are all p.m. shifts so I'm home and available most days anytime before 3:00. I'm off from the restaurant on Tuesdays and Fridays. I currently have and have always had dogs so I'm very used to going for multiple walks a day. I live in an apartment downtown in Annapolis. We currently do not have a yard; however, we go for a lot of walks and still spend a lot of time outside at parks and just hanging out in front of the apartment to people (and dog) watch. About: I've had pets throughout my whole life, but as I got older and moved out of parents house they become very expensive. So, instead of getting my own pet, I use this site to engage myself with the precious animals. I currently work full-time through the week. I fit pet care time in on the weekends when I have nothing planned. I can totally do potty breaks after work hours. About: I have always been a big animal lover. I got my first dog when I turned 2 years old and did everything I could to help take care of her. I got another dog a couple of years later who became my best friend. Before I left for college he would come everywhere with me. I will always do my absolute best to make sure your animals are happy and healthy. I love pets of every kind and would be happy to help you take care of yours if the need ever arises! I am currently a full time employee at an animal hospital. I would be available to do drop ins before and after work and am happy to do overnight visits as long as the owner is aware I will have to leave for around 8 hours to work. Establishing trust with a pet is the most important thing you can do to ensure they are happy and healthy. I will be sure to provide individualized care for your pet depending on their needs and temperament to ensure they are as mentally and physically comfortable as possible.
