About: I have been walking and sitting dogs for over 20 years, starting at age 11 when I realized dogs just made sense to me. I have owned hounds my whole life and currently share my home with a spirited beagle/jack russell mix named Tate who keeps me well-practiced with high-energy breeds. I recently lost our beloved 11-year-old foxhound mix Juniper, a gentle 70-pound soul who reminded me daily why this work matters. I am a firm believer in Cesar Millan's calm, assertive approach to dog handling. Dogs respond to confident, consistent leadership, and I bring that to every walk and every stay. I am comfortable with all breeds, large and small, and experienced administering medications and hands-on therapy when needed. I work from home in central Annapolis, which means flexible scheduling and plenty of attention for your dog during the day. Your pup is a member of your family and I always treat them like a member of my own. I own a design firm that I run out of my home. My work varies as a creative from video work to graphic design and more but it all comes from my home office located right next to my dog's food and water bowls (my hound dog Tate is currently asleep at my feet- exactly where he loves to be, and right where I love to have him). My workdays typically start around 7am and I work through the early afternoon, occasionally in the evenings. Though I have a full office setup, I also have a laptop that travels with me during house/dog sitting sessions if I need to be away for an extended period of time. As my work is on the creative spectrum, I can always adapt my schedule to fit around yours (and your pup's). Whether it's daily walks or stays with your dog, you can rest assured that they will be looked after with love, care, and the attention they deserve. I live in an apartment in Annapolis so we don't have a fenced in yard. Instead, I take my boy out in the neighborhood on short and extended walks and in the community dog park. Sniff spots and local trails are always on our schedule as our dog is high-energy so he thrives on long walks with lots of smells. Depending on your dog's needs and routine, I'm happy to take them on long walks in and around your neighborhood and parks they're comfortable with, or just playing with them in your own backyard. I'm also open to taking them further out to nature hikes and trails as long as you're comfortable with that. I tend to have Blue Buffalo, Newman's Own, and Charlee Bear treats at the ready (but of course that's up to your discretion) for good dogs and I always adhere to any diet or medication requirements to ensure a happy and healthy experience. I treat your dog like I treat my own and I've always had a great experience with every breed and personality.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in elementary school. Cats, dogs, spiders, lizards, birds, the works. I love interacting with animals and learning about them. I have experience with both young and older pets. I take pride in the scheduling skills for walks, feeding, and any other tasked for you lovely critters. I am able to be there for morning, afternoons, and evenings. If it is a pet that needs house sitting I am able to do that as well. I am a college student and have classes in the midday and afternoon on Monday and Wednesdays. I have church Sundays morning as well, but otherwise almost always available. I have a lot of pets in my home. I have a large Dalmatian, both an old and a young cat, rabbits, and turtles. I can am able to crate animals as needed as well clean up after them with practice from my own home. I am able to clip cat's nails and any grooming needs. I know some pets need more exercise so I can go on long walks as needed.

About: I can’t provide you references in history of taking care of animals. What I can tell you is that I have two beautiful grown children. We have rescued animals over the last 24 years, and love them dearly as though they are part of the family. We truly love animals with our full heart, and go that extra distance to attend to their needs, and provide the love they deserve. I will provide the same love, care, and joy to your babies as I have done to ours for so many years. I am an empty nester and want to provide my love to where it’s needed and wanted. I work from home and can set own schedule. I am available seven days a week. I will stand behind my commitment to you. Responsibility is my priority. I will love and care for your pets as if they’re my own, and I will follow the rules we’ve established. About: I’ve grown up primarily caring for and riding horses which has remained my life until now. I live on a farm with my 2 horses, 2 barn cats, and 3 dogs - Sawyer, a 9 year old Siberian husky, Teagan, a 5 year old Australian Shepherd/Basenji mix, and Dozer, a 2 year old pittie. All were privately rescued from their own unfortunate situation, but landed them safe safely here with me through the end of their journeys - as all my previous rescues have been fortunate enough to experience. I take my relationships to animals, very seriously, balancing a level of compassionate empathy that allows me to be president enough to tune in to their energy and emotions, with a knowledgeable and experience mindset with the ability to read body language and observe social dynamics allowing me to always be proactive and advocate for an individual animals needs. This ensures a superior level of safety, as well as promotes overall well-being under my care. I have a seasoned an extensive background in animal welfare with a focus on rescuing and fostering Siberian Huskies & other northern breeds. I successfully ran a small dog walking and pet sitting business for the Anne Arundel County area from 2013 thru 2017. I’m grateful to be back & offering my services full time with a focus on daily dog walking. I am educated & experienced with dogs, cats, horses, exotic, reptiles & livestock of all breeds & sizes having worked & learned from alongside various animal professionals, trainers & behaviorists, welfare leaders, & veterinarians. I’ve worked in 40+ horse stables to 50+ dog boarding facilities & cared for many animals from mixed livestock farms to backyard homesteads to large exotic pet set-ups. I am also certified in Animal Reiki Healing. I look forward to loving your pets almost as well as you! 😉 I am very attentive to your pets needs, whether it be in a fenced yard or on leash, I engage with them in play & offer individualized attention making sure they are happy & well taken care of. You’ll receive updates with photos during &/or after their care is complete! Not a single pet will be neglected on my watch! We will coordinate a schedule that mimics your pet’s current routine as closely as possible I do not allow your dogs to greet strangers or other dogs, whether they may know them or not. I offer plenty of space when walking them, do not allow them off leash or take them to public dog parks. I do carry pepper spray in the rare occasion an off leash dog is aggressive. (This has happened unfortunately, but I feel safer being prepared than not).

About: I’ve had animals growing up all of my life including goats, horses and dogs from small to large. I have experience in both their care and for understanding their needs through hand on situations and passion. I especially love dogs because of their loyalty, love and tail wags! I’ve had my current dog from a puppy for the last year and a half and have loved seeing her grow! Your dog will always be the only dog I am watching along with mine and you can rest assure that your pup is well taken care of! I only am only available weekends with occasional changes upon request and that’s simply so that I can devote myself to being with your pet for as much of their stay as I can provide. My husband also is in the house will assist in any care needs, as he is passionate about dogs as well :) I typically take my dog on walks 3x a day or fetch sessions in the yard and can adjust scheduling as needed. My dog is friendly (very) with dogs of all shapes and sizes, is up to date on all shots and vaccinations, and has no history of violence. We are a pet friendly household that can accommodate crate training or more spoiled pups who enjoy being on the furniture as much as my Ellie does. I heavily respect rules and any needs/boundaries that you may have with caring for your pet all within good reason.

About: I've taken care of neighborhood cats/dogs for over 10 years. I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs in my own home as well. I am comfortable walking, feeding, and cleaning up after pets. I have also volunteered at various animal shelters throughout the years. I am a graduate school student, so I am currently only accepting requests for Friday evenings, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I currently have a flexible schedule during the summer months and am available most weekends and weekdays. I work on Thursdays and Fridays, but I am available to care for your pet in the evenings on these particular days. I would love to connect with you to find a schedule that works best for you and your pet! I have experience walking, feeding, crating, and cleaning up after pets in the home. I'm not currently looking to house pets in my own home!

I appreciated that she made an effort to come and see him before his scheduled walk. She updated us every walk and drop-ins (some sitters don't do that). About: I have always been a big animal lover. I got my first dog when I turned 2 years old and did everything I could to help take care of her. I got another dog a couple of years later who became my best friend. Before I left for college he would come everywhere with me. I am now the happy and proud owner of a 6 and 12 year old cat and want to continue growing my pet family. In addition to growing up taking care of my own pets I had the responsibility of pet sitting for a lot of different families in my neighborhood. I have worked as a client service representative and now as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital and have been able to gain knowledge and experience about pet healthcare and wellbeing beyond the general scope. I will always do my absolute best to make sure your animals are happy and healthy. I love pets of every kind and would be happy to help you take care of yours if the need ever arises! I am currently a full time employee at an animal hospital. I would be available to do drop ins before and after work and am happy to do overnight visits as long as the owner is aware I will have to leave for around 8 hours to work. Establishing trust with a pet is the most important thing you can do to ensure they are happy and healthy. I will be sure to provide individualized care for your pet depending on their needs and temperament to ensure they are as mentally and physically comfortable as possible.
