“I selected Marley as a back-up to my regular walker. She has been professional, dependable, flexible, and fun for my puppy. I would highly recommend her and plan to use her much more in the future!”

About: I grew-up with dogs in my family and adored every minute I spent playing with them, running outside and enjoying their fun, loving nature. My husband and I have a 5 year old hound mix who we rescued when he was 8 weeks old. He’s the best friend we both needed and the comfort of our home every day. We have two little girls who adore him. I would love to give other dogs the attention they deserve during the daytime while their owners are at work or away from their homes. I have experience caring for pets while their owners are away on vacation or day-to-day while they are at work. I would love to get to know yours pets and spend time with them whenever needed, going on walks, and playing outside. Can’t wait to meet you! I stay home with my girls and have flexibility in my day to help take care of your pets when needed during the day and night. I always leash your dogs if we are not playing in a fenced in backyard. I practice safe walks by staying on sidewalks or paths to avoid traffic.

About: Hi! I’m Liz — an animal lover with a flexible hybrid work schedule and years of experience caring for friends’ and family members’ dogs. I’ve also fostered before, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can count on. I take that trust seriously and always aim to make things stress-free while you’re away — with regular updates, photos, and plenty of care and attention. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. Your pup will be in great hands with me. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I work in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and I’m home the rest of the week, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I always treat it with the same care and respect as my own. I stick to your pet’s normal routine — walks, meals, and downtime — to keep them comfortable and relaxed. I make sure doors and gates are secure, follow all instructions closely, and leave your home just as I found it. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet’s doing while you’re away.

Loving Pet Care from an Experienced Pet Parent: As a dedicated pet parent, I bring a wealth of personal experience in caring for my own pets, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. My approach to puppy care is rooted in the same compassion and dedication I have always shown to my furry family members. From understanding their unique needs and preferences to providing a safe and nurturing environment, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether it's playtime, feeding, or simply offering a comforting presence. I am committed to making sure your pet feels at home and well-cared for in your absence. Working part-time from home allows me to seamlessly integrate pet care into my daily routine. Although I don't have any pets now with me, throughout my life I took regular breaks to check on them, provide meals, and engage in short play sessions. In the afternoon, I used to schedule a longer walk or playtime, and I dedicated time to more extended activities like training sessions, grooming, or simply spending quality time with the pets. This balance ensured my pets received consistent attention and care, making them feel secure and loved, while also enhancing my own well-being. 🐾 When cared for pets in my home, I ensured they had a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment, with plenty of playtime, exercise, and affection throughout the day. I followed their specific routines, including feeding schedules, medication, and any special needs they may have. My goal is to create a stress-free and loving experience for every pet. 🐾

About: I've spent most of my life with dogs! I grew up with 2 Labradors, and as a teenager we had 2 more labs that we got as puppies. In Spain, I lived with my girlfriend's rescue dog who I came to care for as my own. And my current pup, Zylar, is a rescue also. I've also looked after cats, as we adopted 2 that were in need of a home. And I spent roughly a week cat sitting for a good friend of mine who had 3. I am currently working freelance and have a very flexible schedule. I often travel for work and when I'm home I tend to have plenty of free time. I treat my client's pets and home with the same respect that I treat my own. I always do my best to adapt to the pets individual needs.
About: Since I was young I knew I wanted to work with animals all day, everyday. From working with rescues, volunteering, and rescuing cats and dogs I’ve found on the side streets. I absolutely love caring for animals. At the age of 18 I went to Colorado State University to attend school for vet training. I realized after I was certified that it wasn’t the job for me, I’d rather see animals at their happiest, so I began volunteering at the SPCA. I fell into a non-profit called kittens in cups where I matched cats with their owners. I walked rescues at the SPCA as well as trained new incoming guide dogs. I now go to UMD and hope to work with support animals and the laws surrounding them. I am currently a barista, but even on the job I find time to pet the dogs who come in for a pup cup. Although I am a college student and a barista. I have a lot of time during the day to watch animals. I get off my barista job at 1pm (if I am working that day) and a lot of my college work is done from home! So I have plenty of time for your furry friends. I like to keep animals occupied! Based on the owners guidelines, I will keep the animal on their schedule, frequent walks, and lots of socializing if they need it (with people or other dogs if it is preferable). I enjoy giving the animals extra attention since they are away from their people so they feel more welcome. I like to stick to owners guidelines and provide extra stimulation to the animals that need it.
“Liza was excellent, showed up on time, spent extra time with Rudy, gave us a great updates on how he was doing along with pictures :) We would definitely recommend Liza- Rudy can’t wait to see her again!!”

About: I've had pets throughout my whole life, but as I got older and moved out of parents house they become very expensive. So, instead of getting my own pet, I use this site to engage myself with the precious animals. I currently work full-time through the week. I fit pet care time in on the weekends when I have nothing planned. I can totally do potty breaks after work hours. I care for the pets by giving them attention, playing with them(outdoors/indoors), feeding them, taking them outside for potty breaks, and cuddling because animals needs love too.

Edgewater dog parents share their Rover experiences
Marley was able to make time for a meet and greet before a last minute walk request. On the day of the walk she was on time and handled my two dogs wonderfully. She provided a thorough update and pictures, and even made sure to give them treats before she left. We will definitely be using her again in the future!

Elif was absolutely wonderful! My dog is nervous and reactive, which can make meeting new people and walks challenging, but Elif handled everything with patience, confidence, and care. Their professionalism and genuine love for animals really shine through. She communicated well each day which I greatly appreciated as well. Highly recommend Elif to anyone!

Ezekiel did an amazing job coming to walk my Aunts dog 2x a day to help out post surgery. He showed up for each session on time, and eager to walk Miranda. Miranda would sit by the door waiting for him to arrive. HUGE thanks for all the help!! I would definately hire him the next time we are in need.

Madi is amazing! My pup Bella gets so excited when Madi shows up to take her on walks while I’m working. Bella always comes back happy and tired :) Madi is quick to respond and a great communicator, and I love getting the great pics and updates from their walks. So happy we found her!
