About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover who grew up with 3 dogs, and regularly pet sit for friends and family before deciding to make it official. Friends often call me an animal whisperer because even shy or nervous pets tend to warm up to me quickly. I work remotely, and am very active, so I have a flexible schedule and can give your pet plenty of attention (and activity)! I work remotely and have very flexible hours, so your pet will have plenty of time, walking, snuggling, and being active. I also attend run clubs where pets are allowed, so if your fur baby is social, I’ll happily take them! I have a backyard, and live in a community with plenty areas to walk and sniff. Pets are welcome to be on furniture and in bed! I’m an excellent communicator, and will work collaboratively with you to determine the best care plan for your pet.
“Andrew did a great job this weekend! He walked my very large Labradoodle and St Bernadoodle and made sure both dogs and my 3 cats were fed and had water. He followed the care instructions, was extremely communicative and arrived promptly at the booking time. I will absolutely be using Andrew for future bookings, highly recommended!!”

About: I have taken care of different types of dogs and including in home stay, walks, puppies etc and had my own dog since I was 12. I have lots of experience in caring for animals from reptiles to mammals. I am very physically active and love to spend time outside so long walks and exercise is both fun for me and your pet. I am currently looking for a part time job my schedule is open for the relative future and any changes to my schedule will be minimal, I am fully available for a consistent walking or care schedule for your pet. I care for my dog with long walks, exercise/play time with his favorite toys or enrichment games. I also have a back and front yard at my house that my dog loves to play in with a park and beach access that allows dogs. When I care for bigger dogs I love to take them to the park in my neighborhood or one nearby to play fetch.

About: I grew up around big dogs and cats, so I’m familiar with reading animal behavior. Dog walker and cat socialization volunteer at local animal shelter near college. I’m currently taking a class that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, but other than that (and studying) my days are free! I do also work at an organic farm in the mornings on weekends, but my afternoons and evenings are free! I’m looking to help out whenever and wherever I can. Able to wear them out with loads of play time or to just give them a good belly rub. Whatever is needed! I’m used to playing with a high energy German Shepard/Akita mix and a one year old Black Mouth Cur. Needless to say, I can hold my own against big dogs zoomies.
About: If you're looking for someone who will care for your dog like family, you're in the right place. Dogs have been a part of my life for 20+ years, and caring for them is something I truly love. I've raised and cared for three of my own rescued dogs, Mumbles, Rose, and Benny. I have experience boarding dogs in my home, providing drop-in visits, potty breaks and dog walking for neighbors, and house-sitting for a special needs dog. I've also volunteered with multiple dog rescue groups and was a foster "fail" momma to the sweetest, most sensitive Staffy you could ever meet. Dogs are family and bring me so much joy. When your dog stays with me, my goal is simple: to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home. I work from home and have flexible weekends, so your fur baby won't be left alone for long stretches. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Every dog is different, so their routine can be tailored to their individual needs and what they’re used to at home. Your pet’s comfort, happiness, and well-being always come first. Your pet will be cared for in a quiet, calm home with minimal traffic, creating a peaceful environment where they can feel at ease. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets and homes, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I understand how important it is to feel confident when leaving your fur baby in someone else’s care. I will respect your dog’s routine, be attentive to their individual needs, and provide plenty of love and attention. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for 3 dogs, 2 cats, birds, lizards, hermit crabs, fish, and rabbits. Taking care of pets has always come naturally to me. Since I was around 10 years old, I’ve helped walk my neighbors’ dogs and puppies, as well as pet sit their dogs and cats while they were away on vacation. I’m very patient, attentive, and love making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like they’re part of the family. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be home throughout the day for walks, feedings, playtime, check-ins, and lots of attention. My 5-month-old daughter and I spend a lot of time at home, so I’m able to provide consistent care, companionship, and updates for pet owners. I enjoy having animals as part of our daily routine and make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for. In my home, pets are treated like family and are welcome on the furniture for comfort and companionship. I create a calm, loving environment where animals can feel safe and relaxed while away from their owners. My cats have access to food and water throughout the day, with their setup safely placed out of reach from dogs when needed. I do not crate animals unless specifically requested by the owner, as I prefer pets to feel comfortable and free in the home. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level to make sure they receive individualized care, attention, and plenty of love.
“Snowden is great! We were new to working with a dog walker. We usually would drop Grace off at the dog sitter’s place because she can be protective of our house. Snowden worked with us the first two dog walks - taking time for Grace to get to know her. But Grace liked her from the start. Yesterday Snowden came by to take Grace on an hour long walk through the nearby park. She also was thoughtful to bring in some packages that were delivered on the front porch.”

About: Hi there! My name is Lena, I'm 38 years old, and have been pet sitting professionally on and off for the last eighteen years. I started officially petsitting out in San Francisco and after moving back east, I professionally pet sat for a local company in the DC area for two years. I have experience in taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, turtles, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, and pigs. I love animals and enjoy taking care of them, so your pet will be in very safe and capable hands! My wife, who also works remotely full time helps me on occasion with taking care of your pets. You can check out her Rover profile at: https://www.rover.com/sit/sheiip87322 We guarantee that your pet will always be taken care of no matter what! I require meet and greets before confirming bookings with new clients. This is so we can both make sure that we’re a good fit, so please keep this in mind when choosing me as your sitter and allow sufficient time for this. I will not take new clients without meet and greets! *Pictures are of my cats and some of my dog walking and petsitting clients. I currently work as a freelance videographer/photographer and live in Edgewater. I have a very flexible schedule and mostly work remotely. I currently have three cats, so I’m used to having fur babies by my side 24/7. At the moment, I’m not accepting boarding clients. When I do stay at your home, I follow whatever routine your pet is used to. I know animals tend to stick to routines and try to be mindful of their daily schedules.
“Jessica has been wonderful! I needed help on short notice for my energetic Staffy/Lab mix while I worked overnight shifts, and she exceeded my expectations. She was great with my dog from the very first meet and greet, and clearly has experience handling larger, high-energy dogs. She provided a full 30 minute walk, updates with photos, notes about the visit, and even tracked potty breaks and checked her water. Knowing my dog was getting exercise and attention in the middle of my 12 hour shift made a huge difference and greatly reduced my stress. Jessica has been reliable, professional, communicative, and caring. My dog absolutely loves her, and I feel completely comfortable having her care for my pet. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and experienced dog walker!”

“Maddie is simply great. Kind and sweet to our elderly dog, Fizz. Taking care of her is a bit of a challenge and Maddie is on it with her meds and IBD issues and special food requirements. Thank you, Maddie.”

About: As someone who loves to travel, I know the importance of having trusted and communicative pet care. I have had two cats for 12 years and was lucky enough to become a dog mom when my husband I met 4 years ago. I have experience with walking and caring for our friends pets as well. I have a hybrid work schedule, so my availability is flexible for you and your fur baby’s needs. I can do early mornings, lunchtime, evenings, and overnights. We have a fenced in backyard that our dog enjoys and a covered porch that our cats enjoy. We can accommodate any animal and separate all the animals if feeding time is an issue.
About: I have 4 years of pet experience. I have a 4 year old Maltese and have helped my family with their dogs for many years when they go on vacation. I walk the dogs, feed them, play with them, I do take them on car rides etc to make sure they’re happy and healthy. Dogs say I have a good sense of humor they really warm up to me. I’m currently working as a babysitter part-time so I have lots of time on my hands to help watch the little and big dogs and play with them and watch them for families who are going away. I go to many peoples homes to babysit who have dogs and I treat them like my own. I have have a dog myself and will treat the dog as if it was my own and take it on lots of walks and make sure the water is filled and the food is filled as well and make sure everything is done for their routine.
About: Hi everyone this is an update as of July 2026. I am a retired American Airlines Flight Attendant. I like to travel, do volunteer work, workout, meet my good women friends for coffee, lunch, etc, and spend time with my partner (a retired pilot). We occasionally sit together and he enjoys all my lovable pets as much as I do. I am about as risk free and responsible as they come! Hopefully, I can help out those who need pet/ house sitting. Also available if you just need someone to come for a few hours. These services are for dogs under 20 lbs and cats. If you have larger dogs that do not require walking, I can let them in and out (if you have a fenced in backyard) play with them, exercise, feed, water, meds, etc. Otherwise, if they need walking I need to stick to the under 20lbs. I can sit and housesit/ visit cats also, my only request is that there is a room for me to sleep in that the cats do not use. Yes, I am slightly allergic and I do wear my mask when brushing them. I have unfortunately, put my Bichon/ Maltese of 16 years down about 4 years ago. So I do not own a dog or cat at present. She had a collapsed trachea and some heart issues and was starting to have high risk seizures at 16. Hence, I am familiar with elder dogs and giving them medications. Before Maddie I had a female golden who lived to be 15 and 1/2. I have also owned two cats over my lifetime. Thank you for your interest and let me know if I can help you out. Also feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I am retired with a couple of hourly volunteer positions and I travel on occasion. Consequently, I have plenty of time to give your dog(s) or cat(s) special attention! Unfortunately, I cannot have the Fur babies over to my house because of my landlord's restrictions, but more than willing to come by to let your dog out for exercise, walk, feed, water, snuggle, and give medications. I can also spend the night while you're on vacation, Check your mail, water plants, take animals to vet if needed, etc.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Selby-on-the-Bay
We can’t recommend Kayla highly enough. Throughout the last year of our elderly dog’s life, her anxiety increased as her physical capabilities and comfort decreased. Kayla was always responsible, gentle, and kind with our sweet old girl. She was also a great communicator during planning and if anything unusual came up during walks/visits (like the time we had to get her to go room to room in our house because the dog was too spooked by a recent thunderstorm to come to the door when Kayla arrived — Kayla found treats and coaxed her out from under the bed!)

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
