I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, giving lots of attention, and sticking to routines. About: I’ve owned pets my whole life. Cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, bearded dragons, axolotls… I have had older cats and dogs that require medications and special care. I worked at a pet store for about 2 years. I am always willing to learn about your pet! I am a full time college student, I’m on campus for about 8 hours including commute time. A typical day allows me time to take care of my animals before I leave for class and when I get home. I have a fenced in yard for my dog. My cat and dog are free roam in the house. I have not had an outdoor cat and no declawing. The other animals in my household are in a spacious cage and well taken care of.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds - dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, roosters, a goat, and more - and have owned dogs for the past 14 years. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and that genuine love for them is what drives how I care for every dog I meet. I have a soft spot for senior dogs in particular. I adopted an older guy who eventually lost both his sight and hearing in addition to other age-related struggles, so I understand the patience, attentiveness, and extra support that older pups need to feel safe and comfortable. I also currently have a rescue who struggles with anxiety, which has made me deeply skilled at reading dog body language, recognizing stress signals, and adapting my approach to each dog's individual needs. That said, I love dogs at every stage. My other dog is a happy, easygoing pup who reminds me that sometimes the job is just fun. Whether your dog needs gentle, careful attention or just a cheerful companion for their visit, I'm here for all of it! I'm currently working from home, so I have flexibility for those midday potty breaks and lunchtime play sessions. I'm available for drop-in visits between 11am - 3pm Monday through Friday. Your dog's safety is my top priority on every visit. I take time to learn each dog's individual needs, routines, and any quirks. I have over a decade of dog ownership of pets with varying temperaments, so I am comfortable reading dog behavior and body language and can recognize when a pup is stressed, uncomfortable, or just needs a little extra patience. During every visit I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure before anything else, so you can feel at ease knowing your dog is in good hands while you're away.

We had some reservations and anxiety about how the process but Jacob put all those concerns to rest. He promptly answered my request and by the end of the day we already had our meet and greet. My husband and I have two female dogs, an 8 year old Doberman and a 3 year old hound mix. The 3y/o is a rescue and is very timid around new people, especially men. She warmed up to Jacob faster than she has to any new person she has ever met. Both of our girls require medicine administration and he did so without any issue. About: I've grown up surrounded by animals, from little chihuahuas to big dobermans, and from your grumpiest cats to your sweetest ones. My mother loves to tell people I talked to animals before I talked to people. I am able to read and adapt well to your pets needs, providing the proper love and care to satisfy both you and your furbaby! I am a full-time high school student, and will be able to drop by after 3 pm on weekdays and at any time on weekends. I also do have a part-time job for a couple days out of the week but I make sure I'm able to stop by in between school and work to let them out and feed them! I am very good at reading animals, and will give them as much love or space as they want me to! I am very flexible and will provide whatever care you need me to while abiding by the boundaries you and your pet set for me.
