About: I have taken care of friends, family, and neighbors dogs for the last 10 years. Whenever one goes on vacation I am the one they call to watch their dogs. I am currently working from home with a very flexible schedule so I can typically be anywhere last minute. On weekends I am completely available. I have two friendly dogs and a fenced area of my yard. I also live on a low traffic street that is very safe for walking dogs.

About: Hello! My name is Joi and I have had dogs all of my life. From the time I was 10, I was walking dogs in my neighborhood as well as doing home visits for families that were traveling. I entered the Air Force out of high school and because I missed my pups I began doing overnight pet watching for friends in my new area while they traveled. I now have two dogs a 4-year-old and a new baby that are very welcoming. Fair warning in advance, we spoil pets to the max! We cuddle and give treats and love on all pets that join our home as much as we can. Before we moved to the area we had two families that would frequently trust us with their fur babies when they went away. I hope that you can trust me and my family with your babies. I would love the opportunity to show you just how much fun your pets will have with us. I will also send daily photo updates so you can see your pets and I am always willing to send more if need be. I am home full time so I am able to play with, snuggle and take care of your pets at all hours of the day. I have a fenced-in yard and two dogs that will keep yours plenty of company. I crate my two when leaving the house but never for more than a few hours at a time. We love dogs here so rest assured they will be taken care of in every way possible.

“Hello Rover, My son Toby is an excellent candidate to work w/ you in providing caregiving to pets. I have lived w/ pets most of my life, and therefore I have seen Toby from a young age interacting w/ assorted pets. As a young child, he was always in good relationships w/ our cats and dogs, and it was clear that the pets were comfortable w/ him. This has continued into his adulthood. LuLu, the dog he had as a young adult, was one of the sweetest and well behaved dogs I have known. Over the years people have enjoyed labeling me as a "dog whisperer", and though I agree that I have history w/ being fortunate w/ my dogs' character, and have often alleged that Toby's first dog was trained by me and my then current dog, the truth was that he had her most of the time and she was wonderful. This has continued to the present day, and as a matter of fact he called me the other evening when he was walking his current dog Milly, and he paused the conversation when he and Milly encountered another passerby w/ that person's dog, and the interaction I overheard reminded me how well behaved and friendly Milly is and how skilled and sincere Toby is in his interactions w/ pets and their people. Given how cat-like cats can be, it's hard to evaluate how he does w/ cats in general, but when he met his wife to be she had a beloved older cat and soon he was part of their growing family and the dog that Toby brought to the relationship and Toby were both welcomed into the relationship and everyone got along fine. Only a week or 2 ago, Toby got a hermit crab for his son's 8th birthday. He and the family quickly obtained information and equipment to make the crab be healthy and happy, including getting a 2nd crab after hearing how social they can be. Both crabs appear happy and healthy now. Toby's 3 children were devoted to and extremely comfortable w/ both dogs that have been part of this family (the youngest child only knew 1 of them), all 3 kids love to play and cuddle w/ Milly and show off her off when they are outside. I think you will have a great Rover employee w/ Toby.”

“Jasmine watch our very needy golden retriever when we went out of town for a wedding. Jasmine made him feel comfortable, which is a hard thing to do because he is so attached to me. She was very understanding about his anxiety and comforted him so much. She had no problem giving him medicine to help his nervous stomach. She played with him and gave him his enrichment just we asked her to! She listened to everything we told her about Loki. For example Loki doesn't play with toys much, but loves to fetch his bully sticks and Jasmine made sure to throw the bully stick for him. I would for sure leave Loki with her again anytime!”
