“Owen is reliable, kind and trustworthy. He shows up, gives my dog a good walk regardless of the weather, and responds quickly. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a walker.”

“We’ve been using Brandi for mths now to walk our 68# lab/shepard mix Willow. Willow absolutely loves Brandi. Brandi has been so flexible. We needed her last min to let Willow out to go potty when an emergency came up and she came by the house and let her out fitting her in between other walks she had book. She’s truly a blessing. She is the best we’ve ever had! We absolutely love her. I highly recommend Brandi!!”

About: I've taken care of both dogs and cats, including those with medication needs and I've managed to make connections with pets that had apparently never warmed up to sitters. My internal alarm clock has me awake before 7 on most mornings and I immediately feed my own cats Flower and Eevee and my dog Sprocket. After this my day is mostly open to fulfill your pets needs! I I always try to make the pet feel comfortable with me just existing in their space before care begins, I've found that the pets seeing me with their owner is a good way to start off establishing trust. I do my best to adjust myself and my activities to the pet's routine and their needs so that my presence is a minimal disruption.

About: Hi! I love animals of all kinds and have taken care of them my entire life so I have tons of experience with all different animals. Personally, I have two dogs, two cats, a rabbit, fish, and two lizards. I’m a stay at home mom and my children are now in school so I have tons of free time during the day to spend it with your fur babies! Follow directions and very organized. Attention to detail and lots of time and love given to your fur babies! I love going for long walks but also don’t mind playing with them in your backyard if preferred. Or maybe they just need a quick visit and some rubs and a treat mid day!
“Veronica was excellent! She came to meet Lucy the evening before I needed her and asked me several questions regarding Lucy’s care. She provided several photos and details of her walks. She is reliable, kind, and very responsible. I would definitely is her again.”

About: I have dog sat for neighbors and family for the last 10 years. I walk dogs, play with them, feed them, and clean up after them. I am currently a teacher on summer break so I am available during the work day to spend some time with your furry friends! I can also walk dogs as well. I am able to care for your furry friends at your home. I currently do not have a dog, but grew up with 3 family dogs. I love spending times with my family dogs, playing with them and taking them for walks.
About: I have owned dogs all throughout my life. I have house sat for multiple friends who have dogs. I have been called the dog whisperer from many people. I respect all dog breeds and I get on their level because in my opinion when I am in their home I am in their territory. Being around animals that are not mine there needs to be a respect and trust to gain a particular bond. I can schedule late afternoon/evening hours Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at this time. I have two children in baseball. I am extremely excited because I do have a strong love for dogs. Cats are welcome as well. Please be detailed on what you would prefer. I can make arrangements to be interviewed by the owner of the pet so I can gain trust to have access to their property at this time.

About: Ive been around, and taken care of pets for my family/other friends and family for as long as I can remember. I have been trusted with the tasks of walking, grooming, medicating, and making sure the well being of the pet is at its fullest, and if it’s not, I am keen to figure out the problem. I am also very good with pets under the age of 1, as I have assisted in raising 3 litters of dogs of my own. I currently work as a freelance musician, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! My availability is very flexible, as the shows I play are in town, and only take up a small part of the day or night, so I will not be away from your pet very long, if at all! I have 5 dogs of my own, who are on a feeding/bathroom schedule that we follow daily. When I take them outside I am with them to make sure they do all they need to do so there are no accidents in the house. When taking care of your pet I will always cater to their need/routine; give them as much space, and or as much love as they need!

About: I have three dogs of my own who are well trained and love spending time outside. I’m used to daily walks, exercise, and caring for dogs of different energy levels. I’m available on weekdays, mainly during the day. I can work from early mornings around 6am until about 3pm. I also have soccer in the evenings, but I’m flexible for consistent dog walking times during the day. I care for every dog as if they were my own, making their safety and comfort my top priority. During walks I use secure leashes, stay alert to surroundings, and adjust the pace based on the dog’s energy and needs. I follow each owner’s instructions closely so the dog stays on their normal routine. I make sure they get proper exercise, attention, and a positive experience every time.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Jacobsville
Stacey Stacy Stacy! Was absolutely incredible! She walked our dog Lylah twice a day for four days while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Lylah can be very territorial at first, but Stacy was so patient and warm by the end of the trip, lylah didn’t want her to leave! She even tried to walk out the door with her on the last day. That’s how much she loved her. We’re so grateful for the love and care Stacy gave our girl and our cat Levi. She went above and beyond, and we’ll definitely be booking her again for our next vacation. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and truly connected with dogs& cats. Thanks again, Stacy.. you’re the best!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
