About: Have been dog sitting for more than 20 years. I’ve fostered more than 10 dogs and have studied dog training and behaviors to ensure the safety and security of my clients. I work from home as a consultant so my schedule allows me to be flexible during the day. I structure my day around my pup to make sure we get a good long walk in, have a couple potty breaks to wander around our 3-acre property, and that she's mentally stimulated through training or nose work activities. For our boarding clients, safety is of the utmost importance. Introductions between our dog and yours will be done outside and on leash at first. After the meet and greet, I encourage my clients to do a trial day or night as a test run for longer visits. My usually approach is to monitor the interactions at first, and when I have to work I keep the pets separate with the guest in my office and my pup in the remainder of the house. We have a basement we can use for a quiet space, if that's what your pup likes. We have multiple dog beds around the house for those that roam. And we have a dog crate available for those pups that crave something cozy. (Our deaf Pyrenees never took to the crate so she never uses it ;)
