“Mackenzie was great! She connected with our cats so well and captured their personalities in daily update photos. Mackenzie is very responsive and reliable and we will be reaching out to her again. Thanks Mackenzie!!”

“Megan did an amazing job. She is very pleasant to communicate with and kept me consistently updated on my kitties. Megan went above and beyond and must have super Kitty powers as my shy kitties came out for love and affection on day one to see her. Will only rely on Megan moving forward.”

About: Dog mom to a friendly 3-year-old Lab mix and passionate about providing loving, attentive care. I’ve owned a dog for the past 12 years, but grew up caring for my friends and neighbors pets. Your pup will enjoy plenty of attention, walks on the Baltimore & Annapolis Trail, or relaxed time in our fenced backyard. Whether they’re young and energetic or a senior who prefers a slower pace, I’ll treat them like family and care for them as if they were my own. For boarding, during the work week we are not home from 8:30-2:30. We will be home all day on the weekends. For walking and drop ins, I am available in the afternoon and evening during the week, all day on the weekends. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a secure fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy time outdoors. We have indoor cameras to monitor the house while we are at work. Our friendly 3-year-old Lab mix loves meeting new canine friends and provides great companionship for visiting dogs. I carefully supervise all interactions and make sure each dog feels comfortable in our home. We have an 11 year old and 6 year old that both grew up with a dog and are very caring and respectful of boundaries. They will be supervised while with your dog. Whether your pup enjoys active play, relaxing in the yard, or extra attention and cuddles, they’ll be treated like a member of the family in a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment.
“Emma was WONDERFUL! I was very nervous about using Rover while we were away and Emma put us right at ease. She updated us every time she visited and our dog loved her. I will definitely be using her services again.”

“Max is a difficult dog (scared of new people) and Emily took the time to patiently sit and try and allow him to get comfortable with her before she plans to watch him for us in a few weeks, very much appreciated!”

About: I've always been a dog lover. I grew up with dogs my entire childhood, and currently live with two beautiful pit bulls. I also had a cat for about 10 years, and in general I get along well with all pets. I've been an on-and-off petsitter and housesitter since middle school, and have experience caring for elderly cats and dogs. I am currently a graduate student, working on my dissertation. I'm not in classes, so my schedule is very flexible. I only have a few standing obligations each week. I will follow any instructions that you have for pet care. In addition to feeding and walking pets and cleaning litter boxes, I also have no problem administering medication, bathing and grooming pets, and cleaning up pet-related messes (such as litter on the floor around the litter box).
“Pros: - Fed them - gave them meds - took them for potty - First time they came they stayed the fully scheduled amount of time - Willing to come to our house before scheduling so the dogs could meet them. Cons: - Only stayed between 12 and 17 minutes for three of the four drop ins - On the second night they didn’t get to our house until two hours after their scheduled time (we have security cameras in our house so we could see). I messaged them and tried calling but they never responded and the call went straight to voicemail.”

“Megan is incredible! She takes amazing care of our kitties and plants like they were her own. She has gone out of her way for both cats and plants - she is an amazing pet and house sitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13, I have watched family, friends, and neighbors dogs. I also have experience with dogs that need medication or extra care! I have watched dogs of all ages as well! I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to play with pets, and during the work day I can stop by and do quick potty breaks! I love to make sure that pets have everything they need, including lots of pets and cuddles. I have one dog of my own at home as well!
“Justine was awesome! She cared for my English bulldog while I was away on vacation. She walked him multiple times a day, even in the rainy/snowing weather. I received a detailed report card each day and pictures as well. I will definitely be using her again and I have recommended her to multiple people already. I was so hesitant being my first time using rover, but it was an awesome experience.”

“Andrew is the best. We’ve been fortunate enough to be able to book him on several occasions. He is great with communication, fabulous with our pets and al trustworthy. We feel so blessed to have him.”
About: Ive taken care of my personal and family pets since i was 6 years old. Over these many years, other friends/ family have entrusted me with the care of their furry, feathery, and swimming family members. I have taken care of youngsters to older pets. From dogs, to chickens... I have you covered. I prefer to stay at your house. It keeps your loved one in their familiar environment. The care and safety of your pets( and your house) is my highest concern. I will become you pets second favorite human, after you. I currently work a very set schedule for work but am able to adjust it to my clients needs. My reliability and flexibility makes me an ideal caregiver. About: I am patient with dogs and am in tune with their behaviors, and will give them plenty of exercise if you'd like me to. Whether you need me to visit your dog's home or drop them off at mine, I'd be glad to help. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run and am a short distance from a bike trail that makes for good dog walking. I make it a point to take my own dog, Snickers on a walk at least once a day as well as playing fetch with her. I'd be happy to help keep your pet entertained as well I have a furbished basement that opens up to a fenced in backyard, with plenty of room for them to run around. Have toys to provide as well to keep them entertained. I just retired and am looking to help others with there pets and keep active.
About: I've lived with dogs just about my entire life, and I've assisted in their care from the beginning to end of their lives. I currently live with one dog in the house, and I care for him alone on weekdays, including administering medications when needed. I also have experience taking care of other types of animals - I am versatile and flexible. I care for my own pet during the weekdays, but for most of the week he uses a daycare service, leaving me free to spend longer amounts of time elsewhere. He is also older and okay with being left in the house for a few hours even when I'm the only one watching him. I'm more than comfortable watching the house as well as the pets, and I will make sure that any house rules (no paws on the counter, etc) are upheld. As long as I'm acquainted with your house facilities, I will leave the place as neat as when I arrived, if not a little cleaner. :)
“Bella- was wonderful! I never worried about my dogs the entire time I was on the other side of the country. She sent me regular updates and pictures and reassured us that Sadie were being well cared for. I would definitely hire her again!”

Jacqueline is kind, reliable and professional. She also communicates well and is very patient. She took detailed notes on my dogs’ specific needs and quirks, which helped me to feel very confident that they would be in good hands. She took the time to send photos and notes after her visits. I was so surprised by how quickly my rescue dogs got comfortable around her! I feel that anyone would be lucky to have her help with their fur-babies :) We look forward to her helping us out again!

Our dog was a challenge for the first few visits. It was the first time Tim took care of our pets and it was for a long weekend. Tim took the time to earn our dog's trust and was able to play frisbee after a day or so. He truly cares about pets, even our difficult one. By the time we came home he was even able to pet our dog. We will continue to use him during our travels.

Ady visited my dog while I was out of town yesterday. Ady was awesome (as always).....She sent me a text and picture of my fur baby so I knew he was doing well. She even brought him a new toy and his favorite type of treat! I highly recommend Ady. She is responsive, competent and loves pets.....Her visit made me able to enjoy my time away more fully......
