“Jazmin has been highly communicative, very proactive, and sent me a lot of photos of the fur babies, which put me at great ease. She’s also been very punctual and checked in with me during the visits. I so appreciate that kind of thoughtful support and strong communication! Will be reaching out to her for future pet care. Thank you, Jazmin!”

“Heather has been a godsend when it comes to taking care of my cat, Boo. He was a bit stressed when I was gone for a 9 day stretch and she was able to add on extra drop-ins because of that and I was so grateful. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: From an early age I would take care of my dog by giving him walks and baths etc. I have dog sit for people over night at their house as well as walked other peoples dogs. Im currently a college student home for the summer and am working part time so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pets. I’m available for dog walking and pet sitting throughout the week. I like to give dogs lots of long walks to get their energy out. Also, I like playing with them and snuggling with them. :)

About: I've always been a dog lover. I grew up with dogs my entire childhood, and currently live with two beautiful pit bulls. I also had a cat for about 10 years, and in general I get along well with all pets. I've been an on-and-off petsitter and housesitter since middle school, and have experience caring for elderly cats and dogs. I am currently a graduate student, working on my dissertation. I'm not in classes, so my schedule is very flexible. I only have a few standing obligations each week. I will follow any instructions that you have for pet care. In addition to feeding and walking pets and cleaning litter boxes, I also have no problem administering medication, bathing and grooming pets, and cleaning up pet-related messes (such as litter on the floor around the litter box).

About: Hi! I’m 22 and just moved home after graduating college, and am looking for summer work before I start law school in the fall! I’ve had at least one dog in my home since I was 6 years old, and can’t imagine my life without them. I’ve been around tons of breeds, including my family’s own greyhound and rescued mutt mix, my sister’s pitbull mix, my other sister’s mini aussi, and my friend’s rescued puppy. I’m confident in saying I have experience with all types of personalities and temperaments. More than needing something to just keep me busy this summer, I’m hoping for an activity to keep both me active and your pets happy :). I’m able to adapt to whatever you and your pet need. I don’t currently have a regular job this summer, so my weeks and weekends are completely free to care for your pet! I’m a morning person as well so I’m able to do early morning visits, as well as anything else throughout the day. Growing up with pets and a busy family, it means I’ve always had the shared responsibility to walk the dogs, play with them, feed them, and let them out. My dogs were also always picky eaters, so I’m very experienced in making the food seem as fancy as possible if your pet needs the same special treatment. I love dogs and am an adaptable person, so I’m truly prepared to do anything you need to make your dog happy, comfortable, and tuckered out :)!
“Emma was WONDERFUL! I was very nervous about using Rover while we were away and Emma put us right at ease. She updated us every time she visited and our dog loved her. I will definitely be using her services again.”

About: I’ve grown up with pets ranging from beta fish, dogs, guinea pigs and gerbils! I’ve watched my friend’s pets over the years as well. My cat who unfortunately passed had kidney issues so I have experience in dealing with that. I’m also a volunteer with the SPCA! I’m currently working a full time job, but work locally and have a hybrid schedule so I can be fairly flexible in the evenings and weekends! I could also be available around lunchtime during the week. My cat who unfortunately has now passed pretty much owned the second bedroom and bathroom in my home. I always made sure she is comfy, happy and had lots of boxes and her favorite string (she refused to use an actual cat bed but LOVES boxes!) I will make sure your pet is always well cared for, loved (if they desire) and catered to whatever they need (even if it’s a box)!
About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.
“Justine helped us out with a last minute request to drop in to let our puppies have a potty break during the day. The puppies loved her. 🐕 🐶 I highly recommend her for your pet needs!”

About: Hello! I am a teacher and parent who is reliable and trustworthy. I have always had a dog of my own and currently have 2 dogs, one 6 month old dachsund mix and the other is a 4 year old cattle dog mix. I am very passionate about helping others care for their dogs! When I was a teenager, I worked as a vet clean up tech at my local veterinarian. Everyone who knows will tell you that every time I see a dog, I always want to go pet it right away! I’m a true dog lover and would love to help people out caring for their pets! I am available in the early mornings and afternoons for walking and pet sitting! Holidays are also a great time for me because I’m off work then! I look forward to taking care of your fur babies! I am a teacher, so I'm available on the weekends and have more availability in the summer months to take care of dogs. I prefer to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings, but can do mid-day or afternoons if needed. I have a fenced in yard and a great neighborhood to walk dogs around. I also have a crate that can be used for small and large dogs if needed.

“Megan did an awesome job looking out for my foster pup while I was out of town for a long weekend. She was really friendly and kept me posted with text messages and pictures after each of her visits. She totally put my mind at ease with her updates. I will definitely utilize her services again really soon!!”

About: I've been taking care of family and friends dogs for over 5 years. And used to have dogs and cats of my own. I have many fur-nieces and fur-nephews and love them as my own. Because I work remotely, I can take my work anywhere. So, I will be able to stay with your pet for the duration you are gone. I work from home. And have the ability to work from anywhere. I will bring my laptop and be able to work and keep your baby company. Taking care of them in familiar surroundings.

“Courtney was absolutely amazing. She sent plenty of photos along with thoughtful, detailed updates, and my cat clearly adored her. I’m so grateful for her — especially for being so flexible on such short notice. I would book her again in a heartbeat, 1000%!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13, I have watched family, friends, and neighbors dogs. I also have experience with dogs that need medication or extra care! I have watched dogs of all ages as well! I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to play with pets, and during the work day I can stop by and do quick potty breaks! I love to make sure that pets have everything they need, including lots of pets and cuddles. I have one dog of my own at home as well!
About: I love dogs and have nothing else to do and your dog will be my entire focus. I have had 3 dogs since I was a kid and have baby sat them and my sister’s dog. I am around the whole summer and would love to watch your dogs. I have also helped train my dogs and gone to training for them as well. I have watched my 2 digs for over a week on my own and my sisters for a week as well I will shape my day around your dog and any dogs I am sitting or watching that day. I have nothing this summer. The only activity I do regularly is lift. If your dog needs a morning walk I will lift later same goes for afternoon walks If you have a fenced yard I will play with your dog after the walk and make sure they get lots of treats and attention
About: I've lived with dogs just about my entire life, and I've assisted in their care from the beginning to end of their lives. I currently live with one dog in the house, and I care for him alone on weekdays, including administering medications when needed. I also have experience taking care of other types of animals - I am versatile and flexible. I care for my own pet during the weekdays, but for most of the week he uses a daycare service, leaving me free to spend longer amounts of time elsewhere. He is also older and okay with being left in the house for a few hours even when I'm the only one watching him. I'm more than comfortable watching the house as well as the pets, and I will make sure that any house rules (no paws on the counter, etc) are upheld. As long as I'm acquainted with your house facilities, I will leave the place as neat as when I arrived, if not a little cleaner. :)
Arnold dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jacqueline is kind, reliable and professional. She also communicates well and is very patient. She took detailed notes on my dogs’ specific needs and quirks, which helped me to feel very confident that they would be in good hands. She took the time to send photos and notes after her visits. I was so surprised by how quickly my rescue dogs got comfortable around her! I feel that anyone would be lucky to have her help with their fur-babies :) We look forward to her helping us out again!

Our dog was a challenge for the first few visits. It was the first time Tim took care of our pets and it was for a long weekend. Tim took the time to earn our dog's trust and was able to play frisbee after a day or so. He truly cares about pets, even our difficult one. By the time we came home he was even able to pet our dog. We will continue to use him during our travels.

Ady visited my dog while I was out of town yesterday. Ady was awesome (as always).....She sent me a text and picture of my fur baby so I knew he was doing well. She even brought him a new toy and his favorite type of treat! I highly recommend Ady. She is responsive, competent and loves pets.....Her visit made me able to enjoy my time away more fully......
