“Courtney did a great job taking care of my cat, Meghan, during my week-long trip! Meghan is usually scared of strangers, but Courtney quickly gained her trust, kept her active with her favorite toys, and even got her comfortable enough to be petted! Courtney kept me updated on how Meghan was doing throughout my trip, which gave me great peace of mind. When I returned, I found everything in perfect order, and it was clear that Courtney had carefully followed all of my detailed instructions. I would definitely recommend Courtney to any pet parent looking for someone caring, attentive, and trustworthy! :)”

About: I have two indoor cats that I have raised for the last two years. However, when growing up I always had multiple dogs in my house that I helped care for, specifically Great Danes and Labradors. I know how to care for them and am looking forward to treating them as if they were my own. I work full time from 6:30am to 3:00pm, so I am unavailable during those times. I can walk or check in on your pets anytime during the weekend, evenings, or early mornings depending on customer needs. I provide services in others homes, not my own and I will respect any boundaries that are set. I am willing to meet parents and animals before a service so they get to know me and are comfortable with me around their pets.
“Laura took such great care of our cat when we were away for a week! The photos and updates provided peace of mind so that we could enjoy our trip without worry. We will definitely be asking Laura to care for our kitty when we go out of town in the future!”
“Well first of all she brought me a donut at the meet and greet… Elizabeth is the best! So thorough and thoughtful with my kitties. I knew from the moment I met her that they would be in good hands with her. Her husband Rich is great too!”

About: I’ve had dogs for over 24 years and have cared for all different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve always been a dog lover, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I know every dog is different, and I’m comfortable following their normal routine and giving them the attention, patience, and love they need to feel comfortable and happy. I work from home, so I’m home throughout the day and have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they need. My schedule is pretty flexible, which allows me to easily fit in potty breaks, playtime, walks, feeding, and lots of attention throughout the day. I have an unfenced front and back yard with plenty of room for outside time and play. Since the yard isn’t fenced, dogs will always be supervised and kept safely on a leash when needed. I’ll also follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you provide so they feel safe and comfortable while in my care.
“Last month I found out that my previous dog walker moved out of town, I ran across Emma's profile and noticed she had many good reviews. We met for a meet and greet and my husband and I both felt comfortable having her care for our dog. We scheduled a weekend trip and we had no issues. I booked her again for a week long of drop in visits and she went above and beyond to make sure our dog was well taken care of. I would definetely recommend Emma to care for your pups. Thanks again for everything <3”

“Jackie is very friendly and so good with our cat. She arrived everyday right on time and sent us a picture too. It was a comfort knowing that my kitty was in such good hands while we were away.”

“Alyssa is so kind and quickly became one of Oliver's favorite people! She's responsive and communicative and I never had any concerns or worries for Oliver's care while she was with him.”

About: I have gained so much experience with animals over the years that I have been jokingly nicknamed “the animal whisperer” and Snow White. I have had dogs and a cat my whole life, as well as watching friends, coworkers, family members and networks pets. I also have experience in animal husbandry & care from my last research position. I accept all furry friends and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, and rodents! I currently work full time, approximately 6am-5pm (including my commute), so I am available any day after 5 for a dinner time walk or an overnight stay if pups or cats are okay being left alone for a bit. Please keep this in mind, especially regarding seniors or puppies. If your babies are used to that then I am totally fine with it. On weekends, however, I am available any time! I am able to follow any instructions given from the client and do have experience giving medication as well. I am attentive, will provide updates, always looking out for their well-being, and loving. I will provide the most comfortable & approachable aura that I can to make all fur-babies feel safe 💕
About: My name is Donald, Baltimore native, who has been sitting pets for as long as I can remember. After being on Rover for the last 6-7 years, I can say I have met some amazing pets and people and gained amazing experience (and incredible patience) when it comes to caring for dogs and cats alike. I have had an amazing time between French bull dogs and Burmese Mountain mixes. I’ve had stays for one night or three weeks. I’ve had dogs that were not potty trained and those who could only pee in specific locations along their usual route. I have sat for dogs and cats where the dogs had issues going up and down stairs, where cats were having behavioral issues with the litter box or needed multiple medications through the day. While I will let you know if a situation is too much, I will always take it into consideration. Book me today and I can almost guarantee you will also book me tomorrow. My schedule is pretty routine and also flexible in many aspects making it easy for me to work with whatever schedule your pet may have. During days I work, I’m away for 7-8 hours at a time, some remote work with enough notice. Outside of work I have a very relaxed lifestyle typically consisting of reading, watching movies, playing games or cooking. I treat clients pets the same way I treat my own pets which is with love and understanding. Pets have feelings too and are typically nervous when away from their normal family, but providing a comfortable and fun environment to keep them occupied is important. Same goes for the home. I live by the principle that you should always leave a space better than you found it. From ensuring everything to do with your pets is clean and safe to whatever space I used is clean and fresh as well. Whatever cleaning supplies are available I am happy to use.
About: I have a Chihuahua dog who is 6 years old, I have been assisting her in two births, I have been with her mother. and I have another male dog that is 4 years old. I love them with all my heart and I would like to work helping dogs who have no way to go out while their owners work. I take my dogs out to relieve themselves three times a day, and once for a long walk. One day they eat chicken, the next day they eat eggs, and I mix it with their dog food. I take my dogs outside to walk and do their physical business. I do this 3 to 4 times a day. And since they are chihuahuas, they like to be with one, they are next to me when I am watching TV. They only eat boiled eggs , chicken and dog food.
“Carly is great with our dogs. She always provides me with details and pictures of her drop in visits, which puts me at ease about our elder dog and our Labrador with epilepsy. She is always responsive very and flexible with our ever changing needs. We are so glad we found her!”

About: I’ve been a pet owner most of my life and have taken care of pets for friends, family, and neighbors. I am the one they always rely on to care for there’s pets and I hope to do the same for you. I’m currently looking for a job, so I will have lots of free time to care for your pets, and with flexible scheduling to what days you might need. Caring for pets at the client’s home I would make sure to ask where they keep the food, treats, toys for the pets, and cleaning supplies just in case if they make an accident by chance.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since 2019 using Wag and just having my own pets. I’ve converted my second bedroom to a pet play room for your babies to have the time of their life while I work from home! I also have very friendly and playful cats who love dogs, cats and ferrets! They are allowed to sleep with me and lounge on the couch while we watch movies and try new snacks! I’m currently working from home so I’ll be with your pups and cats all day, and on weekends we hike if your fur baby is up for that! If not, we spend the whole day watching movies cuddled up and taking walks around the neighborhood and there is a dog park on site as well! Trips to Petsmart for a new treat or you is definitely a must once I log off and I truly love to make them a part of my family. Pets are allowed wherever I go so that I can keep an eye on them. I keep them on a feeding and walking schedule and they are on leash during the entire walk. There are plenty of toys and there is a play pen in my home as well for small puppies who may get into things. I do not provide a crate but if needed, please bring one and let me know how often they are in their crate or if it is simply their safe space for naps and such! I try to keep them out of crates as much as possible so they can enjoy the trip and feel as much at home as I would want my pets to feel. Please review policies below. --- 1. **Drop-Off Times**: Please be punctual with drop-off times. I am available and waiting at the scheduled time, and it is important to respect my availability. Consistent delays are not considerate of my time. I will not be adjusting drop off times for rate adjustments. 2. **Errand Fee**: If your pet requires additional items and I need to provide them, a $10 errand fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the items purchased. This fee does not apply to cat litter or if your dog runs out of necessities that you have already provided towards the end of their stay. 3. **Late Pick-Up Policy**: - If you are more than 2 hours late for your scheduled pick-up time, half of the daily rate will be charged. - If you are 8 hours late, a full day of boarding will be charged. - If you are 12 hours late without communicating a new pick-up time, I will be required to surrender your dog to animal control. This policy is in place to prevent abandonment, as some pet owners have previously left their dogs with me for extended periods without notice. Please note that I am a professional pet sitter, not a personal acquaintance. 4.**Crate Policy** All stays that are longer than 48 hours require a crate be provided by dog owners. For the safety and wellbeing of your pet as well as my own, I require all pets be crated while I am not home. This ensures their safety and security at all times.

Megan was amazing! Coco is a very cautious dog, so she took the extra time to get to know her before a family trip and that made a world of difference to us knowing that we didnt have to worry about coco being too anxious while we were gone. On top of that, coco started having tummy troubles while we were gone, and Megan made sure to be super attentive and communicated through the whole trip to make sure we were as up to date as possible. Ifbi could rate her more than 5 stars I would!

Katherine was fantastic with taking care of my plants while I was on vacation. She is extremely friendly, courteous, and detail oriented. She followed detailed instructions without any problems. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking to take care of their plants or animals. I will be using indefinitely.

Kathryn is amazing! She was extremely attentive to my puppy. Each and everyday she went out of her way to care for my puppy. She put my puppy’s needs first I would recommend her service over and over again. Whenever I need support, Kathryn will be my first call.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
