My schedule is flexible and I typically can accommodate most needs. I consider all overnight stays from the hours of 8PM-8AM. I must be able to leave your animal for 4-6 hours. If you need to cancel, please inform me. Please note: I see many other dogs throughout the day. I can have visits that start as early as 7AM and many of my days may not end until around 6PM. I do check in mid-day if I know I will have a longer work day.

Non-negotiables: • All clients must have a meet and greet before booking overnight visits. • I require all keys or door codes to be given to me prior to arrival of visit. If key or door code is not given, the booking will be cancelled and reported • I require written instructions from the owner about the needs, schedule of the animal, and emergency contacts and vet information as I follow all instructions the owner has provided. • My phone number will not be given, unless there is an emergency, as I communicate only via Rover messaging platform. Unfortunately clients have abused having my phone number outside of Rover messaging. All messages sent by me are now only sent in the Rover app. • Please use messaging via Rover, using the app or website. Please do not “text” back as not all messages come through to me via the Rover app. Messages sent from the Rover app or website are guaranteed to be received.

**Detailed instructions MUST be left for any kind of visit.** I must know the routine, feeding schedule, commands, and any special needs of the dog. Please inform me of any medical needs the dog may have. This includes all emergency contact information including Vet phone number and address and any emergency contacts outside of the Vet. I take notes during our meet and greet but that is NOT considered instructions and information that is to be left by YOU.
A typical day
Walks in the neighborhood, playing in the backyard with the dog if possible. I can not take your pet off your property/out of your neighborhood (including any car rides and dog parks). Only in an emergency will I ever take your pet off your property/premises/neighborhood.

Now booking August 2026! Hello! My name is Katie. I am an experienced professional dog caregiver. I have personally owned multiple dogs in my life including Toy Poodles and an American Eskimo. I have cared for breeds like German Shepards, Dobermans, Boxers, Great Danes, and Pit Bulls as well as Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Dachshunds, and Maltese. I work well with and love dogs of all sizes and breeds! I can take care of your dog in your home without you needing to take him or her to boarding. I think it is a courtesy to your pet to have them stay in their familiar home while you are away instead of boarding them in an unfamiliar place. Katherine was fantastic with taking care of my plants while I was on vacation. She is extremely friendly, courteous, and detail oriented. She followed detailed instructions without any problems.
