“Bito was an absolute saint with our two boys. Nothing felt rushed and Bito truly spend quality time with them while we were away. Thank you for everything.”

“My first time using Jules and DEFINITELY NOT my last. Jules was responsive and interactive with both of my dogs. She played with Roman and rubbed Coco like the princess she is. We will be booking again.”

“I booked Janine to take care of my cat this past weekend but had some unexpected logistical issues on my end that required me to make several last-minute updates to my booking (changing check-in times, etc). Janine was patient with my modification requests and always responded quickly to my questions. I highly recommend Janine. Thank you, Janine!”

“It was my first time using this service and Keira…hands down the best experience ever. Keira was wonderful with my cat and kept me in the loop at every stage. I will absolutely be using Keira again. She is the best!”

“Anneli is the BEST! She will go above and beyond to help pet parents give your fur babies the love and care they need. I do not know what I would do without her!”

“We recently had to switch pet sitters and have been so impressed with Guy! One of our dogs can be a little difficult to handle but Guy has been so great with her and we can tell that our dogs totally comfortable with him.”

“Sabine is great! She was very flexible with me having to extend an extra day, plus was very communicative on how Frank was doing on his visits! I highly recommend booking her!”

“Keira did an amazing job watching our dog and cat while we were on vacation! She was super reliable, responsive, and we never had to worry about anything while we were away. We will definitely be rebooking in the future!”

“I needed somebody to help me brush my cranky old husky who hates being brushed, and Jenny was great! While I fed Dakota a never-ending stream of treats to distract her, Jenny brushed out a dog-sized pile of fur, undoubtedly saving me hours of vacuuming and picking stray fur out of my food. (husky people know what I mean!) The neighborhood sparrows are now hopping around collecting the escaped fur tumbleweeds to line their nests so I'd say it was a successful drop in visit all around.”

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs and cats, so I have lots of experience caring for both. My mom currently has 3 lab mixes and one of them is, unfortunately, getting up there in age and when I visit her, I try to help as much as I can, so I have experience caring for older dogs. I have one dog of my own who is my best friend! He’s a 6 year old black lab with nonstop enthusiasm for walks, chasing squirrels, and sniffing his way through every park in Baltimore City. He is also a fearless rat patroller! We have had him since he was a puppy, so I have been able to get experience training him and learning to work with, and love, all of his quirks, and I’m excited to do the same for your pets! I work a normal 40 hr work week, but am happy to fill in to help with your pet needs. I work from home mostly, so outside of my occasional in office days, I’m available to be with your pets through the day during the week! I am always available on the weekends. I have my own dog and a partner who works occasional odd or long hours, so there are times I will have to head back home to check on my own pup! In my own home, our dog has free range over the house! He rules the place and, unfortunately, doesn’t get along with other dogs, so I’m not able to offer boarding services in my home. While I’m at yours or with your pet, I will treat them like my own - lots of love, occasional treats (as many as are okay with you), and whatever else they may need! I’d love to have detailed instructions on how to care for your pet, so I can make sure they are as comfortable as they can be!
“Thank you so much, Sophie! Luna was so well taken care of and loved. Sophie was so communicative, helpful, and flexible with our crazy schedule chaos. Thank you!!”

“Fantastic job. Would 100% recommend. Last min booking and Mel was super accommodating, responsive, and professional with consistant updates and pictures. Great experience!”

“Raechel is so warm and attentive, our cats were in fantastic hands! Great pictures, prompt, communicative, friendly - would absolutely book with Raechel again for future needs.”

Mel was absolutely amazing! She was perfect for my crazy zoo! She communicated with me daily, so I always knew what my crew was up to! I had no worries while I was away, because I knew my animals were in good hands! I am absolutely going to rebook her in the future!

Nia did an absolutely phenomenal job with our babies! We have never had a pet sitter before, but we decided we’d give it a go for this trip away from home. From the moment I saw her profile on Rover, I could tell she was such a good person and then once we met in person, I confirmed that! Nia took care of our 5 babies while we were in Tennessee, and completely put our minds at ease knowing the great care they were receiving!❤️ Nia consistently updated us with very detailed messages and the funniest/ cutest photos! (She’s really great at taking action shots😆) Every visit Nia made sure to make every animal feel super special and loved by dedicating time to do each of their favorite things (sitting outside, pets, playing with toys, giving treats, etc.) Nia even went out of her way to change up food to ensure everyone was happy with their meals when the animals started getting picky!😅 She also cleaned up the pets accidents with 0 hesitation! We could not be more thankful to have had Nia as our sitter, we feel blessed to have such an amazing person take care of the most important things in our lives! We look forward to having her again! I already know for a fact that all of our pets are going to miss her!🥹❤️

Kathryn is amazing! She was extremely attentive to my puppy. Each and everyday she went out of her way to care for my puppy. She put my puppy’s needs first I would recommend her service over and over again. Whenever I need support, Kathryn will be my first call.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Arbutus with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
