“Odessa took excellent care of our dog! She was responsive and attentive, sending us pictures and updates throughout our time away. We were very pleased, and will definitely be using her again! Highly recommend!”

“Grace was great when we were left without our original pet sitter prior to leaving the country to get married over Memorial Day Weekend. Our two labs decided to be total drama queens while we were away, but Grace made sure they got all the love. We can't thank her enough and look forward to having her help us out in the future!”

“Shania did a really wonderful job for our cats and was really flexible and understanding of our complicated routine. She was super communicative during the visits and had to adjust on the fly for us, and she took it all completely in stride. Highly recommend her! Thank you so much again!!!”

“Abby did a great job with our dogs. Our little guy is fickle about people and he warmed right up to her. Reliable and friendly, we will definitely be using her again.”

About: I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with a diverse range of dogs, from high-energy to older, sensitive, and stubborn. I’m well-equipped to handle dogs that require structure and consistency, as well as those who are nervous or hesitant to trust. I’m also comfortable providing detailed care instructions, including medication, and am adept at addressing changes in behavior or routine. I pay close attention to any early signs of issues, ensuring that small problems don’t escalate into more significant ones. I’m based in Ellicott City and have a flexible schedule, so I’m reliable for regular walks, drop-ins, or overnight care when you’re in a pinch. If your dog is anxious, reactive, or just takes time to warm up, I move at their pace. I don’t force interaction. I build trust first. If your dog is high energy, I make sure they actually burn it off, not just go through the motions.
“I had a weekend away, so I tried Shannon (she had many great reviews.) She came over for a meet and greet my Garfield just leaned right into her. Overall, she is a very professional and caring caretaker. I have a Greyhound which comes with some very strict directions. She handled them and even sent pictures. I highly recommend Shannon.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years. I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and I currently have a 3 year old cat of my own. I also volunteer with BARCS for their dogs day out program, so I have a lot of experience with big dogs. I currently work full time in logistics, and I work from home 3 days a week. I have free time throughout the day on my remote days and on the weekends as well. I always like to take care of animals as if they are my own. Your animals will always be safe and secure and I always go the extra mile to make sure they are as comfortable and safe as possible.
About: I've had pets all my life and I'm starting to care for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different breeds and sizes. I currently work full time, I work 1 day remote at home and 4 days in the office. I will make plenty of time to be there for your fur baby though. I am very active, I go running, take long walks as well as hiking with my pup. He is very friendly with other dogs and loves to have company. Any special needs, diets or behaviors I will need to know in order keep your fur baby happy and comfortable.
About: I’ve been a life-long animal lover and pet owner, and am currently owned by 2 sweet cats! I love dogs and cats, and would love to care for yours and give them the attention they need and deserve while you’re away from home for the day or for drop-in visits over a weekend. I am available evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends. I have experience administering medication to animals. Here is a little bit about me: I enjoy walking, nutrition (I’m holistic nutritionist), lifting in the gym, going to farmers markets, and live music. I was born and raised in Montgomery County, MD (Wootton High School alum)! My husband and I currently live in Rockville. I look forward to caring for your pets!

About: I am currently a student at the University of Michigan, and am home for the summer! I am a huge dog lover, and have helped friends and family members with dog sitting and dog walking for several years now. My family also currently has three dogs, one of which is small (long haired dachshund) and the other two are medium sized (a Black and Tan Coonhound and her baby). I feel very comfortable with dogs of all ages and most temperaments! I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time during the week and weekends to see your pups. I am primarily free in the mornings and early afternoons, but feel free to reach out with any other times and I will try my best to make it work! I am very flexible with meeting any needs your dog may have! No matter what service, just let me know how I can best take care of them and I will make sure to do that :)
“Pam did a fantastic job with our girls. She came to meet them during the meet and greet and even stopped over again to make sure she understood what she needed to do right before the trip. She followed their schedule perfectly and spent a lot of time engaging and playing with them. I could tell immediately that my girls trusted her. She sent lots of pictures/videos and was detailed in her drop in update. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to have her care for our girls again.”

“Elinor is the sweetest and greatest sitter you will ever have the chance to book. Extremely friendly and organized, she’s so willing to make any reservation workable. She keeps the most solid line of communication the entire time throughout the duration of the sitting. She is thorough down to a T to make sure that the fur babies are 1000% taken care of. There wasn’t a single time during my trip out of town that I had any doubt or worry about my babies because she made sure I knew that they were in the best hands! If you ever get the opportunity to book her, you’ll be getting one of the best caretakers on Rover!!”

“I feel like I left a review already but I don't see it so maybe I'm crazy. Anyway I have Samantha booked weekly to take my dog out. She is reliable and quick to respond, and very flexible, and great with my weird finicky dog.”

“Anneli is kind, patient and a true “dog person.” My dogs have interesting personalities and she quickly figured out the poodle mix was playing her to try to get more treats. 😂 Anneli is also apparently a semi professional photographer. The photos she took were amazing and put me at ease that my babies were OK. I look forward to booking again in the future. I’m so glad I found her. 🩷”
“This is first time that we had her watching our pets. Our previous sitter had relocated to another city. All our pets were well-taken of while we were away. Kayla was easy to communicate before and during her visits. Pets had no signs of distress and she provided photos during each of her visits. We will be using her to help us again in the future.”

“Krysta took fantastic care of my girl while I was at work. I have a senior dog with a host of challenges, and Krysta showed her the love and patience she would her own dog. She sent pictures of my dog after each visit - which I really appreciated! Krysta is trustworthy, reliable and flexible in her scheduling and I would absolutely book with her again.”

“Katherine was great! She sent pictures of Frank while she was there and provided a timely update. She is also extremely responsive, follows directions, and very professional. We are absolutely going to reach out to Katherine for our future pet care needs. ”

Second time that Jasmine has taken care of Kiko and it was great. Kiko is very nervous around people, and we threw Jasmine right into the middle of a family reunion to to ease Kiko into the situation. During the three hours that Jasmine was here, her instincts were excellent, and by the time an hour or so had passed she had helped Kiko to be totally at ease around the 25 or so attendees, eventually leading Kiko to kind of be the star of the show. :) Thanks Jasmine!!

Did a meet/greet with Sophia before her drop in visit with my pups and she was great! During the drop in visit she did all the things we asked as well as updating us during her time with my pups. So glad we found Sophia and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter for their fur babies.

Kudos to Ryan for coming to our house for a meet and greet with our dog ahead of time. Quinn was very comfortable with Ryan. Ryan was punctual for both the meet and greet and on the day he let Quinn out for 30 min. From the pictures Ryan took, it appeared Quinn had a great time with him. Thank you Ryan!

Francine was great! I used her twice in the month of March. She was on time, took pictures, and communicated well about how my dog was doing. She was also patient when I had to modify my reservation. When I returned home, my dog was happy and well cared for. I would definitely hire her again!

Caroline came in at the last minute and saved the day for a week-long trip for us. When we met, it was clear she had a ton of experience and she was so patient with our high-energy pitties, who absolutely loved seeing her every day! You cannot miss if you book Caroline, she's passionate, communicative, flexible, and the dogs love her.

We had an excellent experience with Jennifer. During the visit, several unexpected issues came up, and she handled everything calmly, professionally, and with great judgment. Communication was outstanding—she kept us informed, sent pictures of our dog looking very happy, and even followed up afterward to make sure everything was okay. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our dog was in such capable and caring hands. We would absolutely recommend Jennifer and will definitely use her again!
