About: As a lifelong dog and cat owner, I’ve cared for pets from puppies and kittens to senior cats and dogs. I have experience administering medications, accommodating special routines, and ensuring pets with medical conditions receive the attentive care they deserve. My schedule is highly flexible, allowing me to adapt to your pet care needs, including varying hours, weekends, holidays, and short-notice bookings. I am available any day of the week! As a pet owner, I understand that quality care goes beyond meeting basic needs. I strive to create a comfortable, engaging environment where pets feel secure, well cared for, and genuinely enjoy their time while you’re away.
“Lingli is very professional and punctual. She checked in on my fur babies with little notice over a busy holiday weekend. Will definitely be using her again in the future”

“Krysta took fantastic care of my girl while I was at work. I have a senior dog with a host of challenges, and Krysta showed her the love and patience she would her own dog. She sent pictures of my dog after each visit - which I really appreciated! Krysta is trustworthy, reliable and flexible in her scheduling and I would absolutely book with her again.”

“Ana is easily the best cat sitter I've ever hired (and I say that, never having had a bad experience with a pet sitter). She watched our 2 nervous cats and went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of. She even did an extra check-in when one of our cats wasn't eating and cleaned up their vomit. Thank you very much, Ana, and we will definitely hire you again.”

“Destiny provided perfect care for my two cats. She was accommodating of all my requests and did a stellar job. One of my cats is not the friendliest, but Destiny was able to handle the interactions with patience and understanding. Her updates put me at ease during my vacation, knowing my cats were in good hands.”

About: Pets aren’t just a hobby for me. They have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have personally owned and raised many dogs and cats of various shapes, sizes and personalities. This experience has given me a deep love and understanding of animal behavior needs and unique quirks. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🖤🤎 I currently work full-time but I am available early morning and evenings during the week and I have an open weekend schedule availability for all times. Caring for pets in their own home is all about maintaining their normal routine to keep their stress low. I will send regular photo update, so they have total piece of mine while they’re away.
“Yutong did a fantastic job taking care of our 2 Shiba Inu boys while we were out of town for a couple of days. He was incredibly responsive, sent loads of photos and videos, and made us feel very sure that our dogs were happy and well cared for. We will certainly be reaching out to him again to take care of our dogs!”

“Pam did a fantastic job with our girls. She came to meet them during the meet and greet and even stopped over again to make sure she understood what she needed to do right before the trip. She followed their schedule perfectly and spent a lot of time engaging and playing with them. I could tell immediately that my girls trusted her. She sent lots of pictures/videos and was detailed in her drop in update. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to have her care for our girls again.”

“Cannot say enough good things about Laurie and Jim. They treat our dogs as if they were their own. When we come back home we can tell our dogs have been loved and cared for extremely well”
“Dulaney was great! We left somewhat detailed instructions for our young puppy and older dog and she didn’t miss a beat. She arrived on time and provided good feedback for us after her visit. Would book again!”

“This was my first time using Rover & first time using someone that was family/friends to watch Elli. Couldn’t have asked for a better choice than Nia! She was exactly on time with each visit and sent the best pics. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: Hi! I’m Brynn—a lifelong dog lover with plenty of hands-on pet sitting experience 🐾 I’ve grown up with all kinds of dogs (pit bulls, cattle dogs, and small to large mixed breeds) and have cared for pets for friends, family, and nanny households. I’ve even had a bunny 🐰! I’m also a dog mom to Kenobi, my 7-month-old rescue from Puerto Rico, which has taught me a lot about patience, training, and building trust. I’m dependable, gentle, and attentive to each dog’s personality. I take time to learn their cues and stick closely to their routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease. I work full-time as a registered nurse (three 12-hour shifts), which gives me flexibility on my days off and most weekends. Just let me know your needs! In my client’s home, I care for pets by keeping everything familiar, calm, and centered around their normal routine 🐾 I follow instructions closely—meals, walks, meds, and all the little details that matter. I make sure they feel safe, seen, and loved while you’re away through playtime, cuddles (if they want them!), and companionship at their pace. I also keep their space clean and respect your home like it’s my own, always checking in on their behavior and comfort so they stay happy, relaxed, and stress-free 💛
About: Most of my pet care experience started January 2025 with the rescue of my pit-mix BB. She was the longest resident at the shelter, and just needed love and a chance. She has returned my fiance and I's love over and over. I grew up with family pets and outdoor cats, and knew the basics of animal care. I wanted a stable life to give any pet the life they deserve! I am grateful for BB and for the village that helps care for her. I hope to be a part of your pets' village! I am currently transitioning between careers, and have the extra time to dedicate to the extra furry ones! Quality time is deeply important to me, and I hope to build bonds on this journey. Without a fenced yard for BB to run around, my fiance and I take turns walking her around our neighborhood circuit. I typically take the morning and he takes the evening. We take extra walks for exercise and socializing, and book SniffSpots to let her run loose! BB has a crate that she sometimes opts to rest in, but 99% of the time she is napping at our feet.
About: Having owned 2 dogs, I've continued to find joy in walking, feeding, and entertaining them over the past few years. I've spent lunch breaks playing fetch with a neighbor's large dog for ~30 minutes, hosted a friend's small dog in my house for up to a week, visited a friend's large dog up to three times in a day, and would love even more opportunities to be around dogs. I'm currently working part-time, so I am likely available in the mornings and evenings. Working part-time allows me to be more flexible to fit into clients' schedules! I look forward to keeping clients' houses secure by following all safety requests in order to ensure trust and comfort when leaving the house and pets with me!
About: I have just graduated Penn State with a Bachelor in Animal Science and I will be attending veterinary school this upcoming fall. I have a lot of experience with pet sitting of all kinds and I would love to care for your pets! I will be starting a part-time server job soon, so I will have a set schedule soon. But other than that I am available all summer! I have a fenced in yard with one 90 lb dog at home. I can easily crate dogs, take them on dogs, teach simple tricks, and keep them entertained.
“Ashley is always so seeet and caring for our babies. I couldn’t imagine anyone else there with them. I would unquestionably recommend Ashley to be there for your babies too.”

Nancy was wonderful dropping in to visit our dog in the middle of the day over a period of one week. Very professional with good communication and feedback. And our dog was very happy to see her. We liked the fact that she owns a large dog, so was very comfortable with our large dog. Highly recommend. Will definitely contact her in the future as needed.

Jason was amazing! He was attentive, prompt, friendly, and communicated so well throughout the entire visit. During his drop-in with my dog, Goose, he sent tons of photos and videos along with a detailed update, which gave me great peace of mind. I will absolutely book Jason again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.
Second time that Jasmine has taken care of Kiko and it was great. Kiko is very nervous around people, and we threw Jasmine right into the middle of a family reunion to to ease Kiko into the situation. During the three hours that Jasmine was here, her instincts were excellent, and by the time an hour or so had passed she had helped Kiko to be totally at ease around the 25 or so attendees, eventually leading Kiko to kind of be the star of the show. :) Thanks Jasmine!!

Zachary was great! The visit turned out to be a drop-in visit where he and my girl Bella met for the first time. Zachary was caring enough to commit to giving Bella more time to get to know him.and he was concerned and expressed his desire and willingness to help me without me having to ask or convince him to give us more meet and greet time. You are a God send and I’m so glad you are willing to try to help help us. Thank you.

Did a meet/greet with Sophia before her drop in visit with my pups and she was great! During the drop in visit she did all the things we asked as well as updating us during her time with my pups. So glad we found Sophia and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter for their fur babies.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
