“Excellent job! I am very pleased with the way Isabelle took time to play with my cat. Last time I went away she was so anxious and stressed when I came home because that sitter just went in and out. But this time, my cat was happy to see me and there were no accidents! I will definitely use Isabelle in the future!”

“Madeline was great with our golden retriever for a full week of drop in visits. She was on time every day and gave our dog lots of extra care and attention. I got a report card and pictures daily. I will book Madeline again and I recommend.”

“Sara was AMAZING with our puppy, Cooper! She made sure he didn’t eat anything on his walks because that’s been a big issue with him. She always made sure he was taken care of and administered his medicine since he recently was discharged from the animal hospital. We can’t wait to use Sara again!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful! We did 3 drop in visits and each one was done in a timely manner with all the focus on the kitties. Communication was a breeze and our cats were very comfortable the whole time!”

“Christina was the best cat sitter we have had! Extremely responsive, extremely attentive to our three cats with very different personalities. Sent us a ton of photos to keep us updated and even helped us grab our mail when we got an unexpected delivery. We will 10000% rebook with Christina again!”

About: I’ve been a lifelong pet owner and have always had a genuine love for animals. I’ve cared for my mother’s and sister’s dogs, as well as my neighbor’s cat, giving me experience with different personalities and care routines. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important they are to their families. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior pet, or a shy cat, I’m committed to providing patient, reliable, and loving care. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to provide attentive care and accommodate your pet’s routine. I do train mixed martial arts in the evenings, but I have plenty of availability throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your best friend. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also take pride in keeping their environment clean, respecting your home, and providing regular updates so you can feel confident while you’re away. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience for your pet in the place they know best.
“Jennie was amazing with our three dogs! We had to add another drop in visit the day before our trip unexpectedly and she was happy to accommodate with no issues. Highly recommend and looking forward to rebooking in the future.”

“Jodi has been there for us time and again and has always done an exemplary job. We have one "escape artist" cat but she's never managed to get out with Jodi on the job!”

About: I’ve always taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I begged my mom to get me a dog around that time as well. I promised her I would take care of the dog and do all I needed to do. With that being said I became a pet owner and trained my dog all by myself . From the simple commands, and crate training. I love to treat my current dog(Chloe) like a baby. From cuddles, long walks, nice tasty treats and all the love I can possibly give her. Sometimes I do travel and when I do its hard to find someone to keep Chloe. I realized I can’t be the only one who has experienced this . I am new to the app. I am ready to spread the love in my area. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Can’t wait to meet you ! I do work full tine Monday-Friday. I have a Hybrid schedule. I work from home Tuesdays and Fridays . I am open on weekends ! I have a spacious apartment. We also have dog parks in my complex. Lastly my favorite a few different trails/ lakes that I love to walk currently.

“Thank you for caring for our cats while we were traveling! You really made them feel happy, played with, and fed! We really appreciated you staying for the whole drop in visit and sending pictures as we were really missing them while we were away!!”

Alert, observant, and attentive to a pet’s body language and will always try my best to make sure your pet feels comfortable, happy, and loved whether it's feeding time, playtime, medication time, a cuddle session, or a walk. When I’m not at home or out and about with my pups and/or peers, I am a full-time Forensic Social Worker who works with incarcerated individuals. As of right now I have limited availability during the week. Weekends are more readily available but please do not hesitate to message me and ask about my availability if there is a date and time that is not reflected on my calendar. I accept gigs in MD, DC, and VA. I do not provide services out of my home. I travel to my clients’ homes for drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays. About: Hi, I’m Stephanie! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, and caring for dogs truly brings me joy. I provide a safe, loving home where your pup will be treated like family. I share my home with two friendly dogs of my own—a 9-month-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi and a 9-year-old German Shepherd mix—so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I’m certified in Cat & Dog First Aid through the American Red Cross, and I’m committed to making every stay fun, safe, and stress-free. Whether your dog loves to walk, play, cuddle, or simply relax, I’ll provide personalized care and plenty of love while you’re away. I’d love to connect—please reach out or book a meet-and-greet so we can get to know each other! Because I’m a stay-at-home dog mom to my two pups, your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and personalized care throughout the day. My schedule allows me to be home full-time, so your furry family member won’t be left alone for long periods. Whether they need frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, meals, medication, or simply lots of love and cuddles, I’ll be there to make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home. My home is a safe, loving, and fun place where dogs are treated like family. While I have a securely fenced yard for potty breaks and outdoor time, it’s not a large yard, so I make sure my dogs get several walks every single day to keep them happy, healthy, and mentally stimulated. We also have a deck with a doggie pool for warm days, plus plenty of toys for playtime and enrichment. I spend most of my day walking, playing with, and caring for my two dogs, and I’d love to welcome your pup into our routine. My dogs are friendly, social, and enjoy making new canine friends, so your furry family member will have lots of companionship, exercise, and affection while you’re away.
About: Most of my pet care experience started January 2025 with the rescue of my pit-mix BB. She was the longest resident at the shelter, and just needed love and a chance. She has returned my fiance and I's love over and over. I grew up with family pets and outdoor cats, and knew the basics of animal care. I wanted a stable life to give any pet the life they deserve! I am grateful for BB and for the village that helps care for her. I hope to be a part of your pets' village! I am currently transitioning between careers, and have the extra time to dedicate to the extra furry ones! Quality time is deeply important to me, and I hope to build bonds on this journey. Without a fenced yard for BB to run around, my fiance and I take turns walking her around our neighborhood circuit. I typically take the morning and he takes the evening. We take extra walks for exercise and socializing, and book SniffSpots to let her run loose! BB has a crate that she sometimes opts to rest in, but 99% of the time she is napping at our feet.

About: Hi! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have cared for all kinds of pets over the years. Growing up, my family always had dogs, so I learned early on how to handle everything from playful puppies to senior dogs who needed a little extra attention. As an adult, I’ve personally owned small caged pets and currently own 2 cats, giving me a well-rounded understanding of different animal personalities and care needs. I currently share my home with two adopted cats, each with their own unique story and background. With patience and care, I was able to successfully introduce them to each other despite their age difference and differing temperaments—it was so rewarding and relieving to see them become friends! I understand that every pet is unique and deserves compassionate, individualized care, and I treat every animal I meet like one of my own. I currently work a full time job with the military during the week, but am home early in the afternoon to provide care, comfort, and cuddles to my furry friends and yours! I have a spacious apartment with lots of toys and 2 friendly cats to keep tour furry friend company. Walking around my neighborhood is a breeze with pet pickup spots along the way and a safe environment for walks no matter what time.

About: I have been providing cat and dog sitting services for the past six years and truly enjoy caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. While living in Michigan, I regularly pet-sat for several families, and now that I’m back in Maryland, I’m excited to connect with pet owners in my local community! I work as a freelance musician and teacher during the school year, which gives me a flexible schedule. With summer break underway, my weekdays are especially open now! My husband and I currently rent a home with a no-pets policy, so pet sitting and dog walking are wonderful ways for me to spend time with the animals I wish I could have around every day. Whether your energetic pup needs a long walk and plenty of exercise, your senior pet needs gentle companionship and extra attention, or your cat simply needs a caring visitor while you're away, I would love to help. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're gone. I work as a teacher and professional musician, so during the summer I am off for break! My weekday schedule is wide open -- I can pop by to take your dog for a walk and/or check in on your furry friend any time of day. I am attending numerous weddings this summer, so my weekends are less available! Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. Because I provide care in your home, I strive to maintain a calm, familiar environment where your pet can feel secure and relaxed. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions, and I am happy to provide regular updates and photos! I understand the trust involved in welcoming someone into your home, and I will always treat both your pets and your space with the utmost respect and care.

“Joshua was fantastic with my cat Athena. They got along famously when he came for a visit, and I was very happy with the updates he shared during my 9-day trip. He was flexible and responsive and I would happily book with him again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Savage
Shanae was wonderful for her first visit with our special girl! We really appreciated starting with a meet and greet—it gave us a chance to get comfortable with one another and made the first walk feel seamless. She was warm, professional, and dependable, and she even went above and beyond by cleaning up a small mess on our carpet. I was also incredibly grateful that she accommodated a last-minute request. It’s clear that Shanae genuinely cares, and we’re thankful to have found her. Highly recommend!

Esosa was amazing! From the moment she came to the meet and greet, I knew she would be a great fit. My dog has a lot of high energy, but she was so patient and willing to be gentle with her. She was punctual and made sure she showed up when she was supposed to. She went above and beyond to make sure my dog had everything she needed, and I was so touched by the photos she left and her handwritten note. I’ve never had a caregiver on Rover do such a thing. I would recommend her to everyone.

Here’s a polished version of your Rover review that keeps your warm, appreciative tone while making it flow naturally: Krista was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly flexible and accommodating when I found myself in a pinch and needed a new dog walker on short notice. From the very beginning, she was responsive, reliable, and truly supportive throughout the entire time she worked with us. We were beyond pleased with the care she provided. She even went above and beyond by cleaning our carpet when our girl had an upset tummy—something we deeply appreciated and did not expect at all. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our girl was in such caring and capable hands. We appreciate Krista so much and look forward to working with her again in the future! 🐾

Corinne did a wonderful job with my dog while I was away for a funeral. She sent plenty of pictures and updates for my long absence. She was willing to provide my dog with his medication and gave him plenty of cuddles(I don’t think she had a choice 😅) I will definitely be rebooking with Corinne in the future when I am out of town.

We are thrilled to have Mandi as our new pet sitter! She cared for our hens & cat while we were away. I’m so glad I found her. She has terrific energy. When we met, Mandi had great follow up questions which I appreciated. I’m very picky about hen care. She did a good job tending to cleaning up the hen yard & coop. And, the hens trusted her on day one. Fantastic!! Our cat gets lonely when we travel & many times won’t eat. Under Mandi’s care he was eating well which was awesome. It was nice to see the many instructions I left were followed. She was prompt on getting back to to me. Mandi is 100% lovely. I’d recommend her to friends & family!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter.
