I've taken care of dogs for 11 years and adopted a rescue 6 years ago. Cleanliness and sticking to a schedule are important to me when it comes to caring for pets in a client's home. I work overtime to mitigate any accidents and rely on a schedule to help the pet get into a rhythm with me. I also have a very friendly Beagle/Border Collie who has all the energy in the world. We spend plenty of time outdoors, so for the most part our home is just for recharging, drinking water, and cooling off/warming up. I bring this exact routine to pets I care for in a client's home.

The first few visits with Shanae were great, and we really liked her, so I was disappointed with how things ended. We had recently established a recurring weekly schedule, and she kindly accommodated a last-minute visit, during which I was also happy to allow her to bring her own dog along. Afterward, I shared some constructive feedback about using the correct leash and asked about repeated issues with our home alarm being triggered. Shortly thereafter, she canceled our recurring booking without explanation and did not respond when I reached out. Shanae initially made a very positive impression and seemed caring with our dog. Unfortunately, the way things ended suggests she may not be comfortable receiving constructive feedback intended to help both the sitter and client have a positive experience. Clear communication is essential in a sitter-client relationship, particularly when someone is caring for your pet and accessing your home, and when that communication isn’t received or reciprocated, it’s unfortunate for everyone involved.
Shanae was wonderful for her first visit with our special girl! We really appreciated starting with a meet and greet—it gave us a chance to get comfortable with one another and made the first walk feel seamless. She was warm, professional, and dependable, and she even went above and beyond by cleaning up a small mess on our carpet. I was also incredibly grateful that she accommodated a last-minute request. It’s clear that Shanae genuinely cares, and we’re thankful to have found her. Highly recommend!
Shanae was fantastic with our German Shepherd. He gets pills multiple times a day and she went above and beyond caring for and spending time with him. He absolutely loved her and we were so glad she was with him for the time we were away. We highly recommend her and she is truly someone who will love your pet while you’re gone. She sent daily photos and videos, and spoiled him every single day. She is the best!!!

Schedule
I am available every day of the week and consistently update my Rover profile. I like to say that I am weather-trained, I walk in all temperatures, rain or shine. I only take a break if it’s icy outside.
