Retired Army officer, father of three, experienced dog and cat owner, soccer junkie and lifelong animal lover. I provide reliable, attentive pet care with clear communication and plenty of exercise and affection. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats on my grandparents farm in the summer and at home age 5 to 18. During my adult life I have either had a dog and cat at all times and now also take care of a bearded dragon. I love instilling confidence in kids and animals through structure, exercise, and care. Dog walking in nature and watching animals is my happy place.

I will care for pets as needed at their house and on leash walks. If a house has a fence we can go off leash.

Christopher was great with my skittish cat and patient enough to get her to take her meds while dropping in. Really appreciate accepting the job last minute and will book again.

Christopher has been a daily walker for almost a year and it has been great for our energetic dog. He is always on time. He works with our schedule and is very flexible when something pops up. We get quick responses from Christopher anytime we reach out. We simply don’t have to worry about our pup being home because we know Christopher will be there on time. Chris is great! My dog is hesitant around most new people, but she developed instant rapport with Chris. I know he does his job and he does it well and I never have to worry about her while I’m at work. I will keep him as a dog walker as long as he’ll have us!

Christopher was fantastic. He proactively set up a meet and greet prior to my trip. We discussed times, feedings. Etc. He was an excellent communicator. Provided check ins for each visit including photos and comments on food consumption and demeanors. I highly recommend for any of your pet sitting needs.

Schedule
I coach and play a ton of high level soccer (trying out for USA over 50 men’s team this year) but it is mostly evenings and weekends. I’m also heavily involved in the Maryland Defense Force and American Legion but can generally plan my time. If I have 2 days advance notice I can shift things around.
