About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, so caring for pets has always been a natural and important part of my life. To me, pets are family, and I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. We have a large fenced in backyard where pets can safely run off leash. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide plenty of companionship, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’m also experienced with administering medications when needed. Most of all, I love playing, spending time, and keeping pets happy and comfortable while their families are away. 🐾❤️ My schedule is flexible because I work part-time, so I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, exercise, and playtime they need. I have a huge fenced yard where pets can safely run around and play, and I also have a chocolate lab who enjoys having a companion. I have cared for dogs in all stages of life; therefore, I am confortable caring for puppies as well as older dogs. My fur babies included a silky terrier, a pug and a cat. About: It can be so stressful trying to find someone to care for your furry loved one(s) while you’re away; I would love to make it easier for you! I’m an animal lover through-and-through (if you’ve seen it I’ve probably thought about wanting to make friends with it) and I was a dog owner for many years to Samwise, a sweet miniature dachshund. Though I do not currently own any dogs, I am a proud auntie to my two furry nieces–Tetra, a loveable golden retriever and Zora, an energetic goldendoodle–who I routinely see and care for when their family is away. I’ve housesat for friends and family many times throughout the years, for both dogs and cats. Big or small, reserved or energetic, old or young, I’ve dealt with it. My own pets have passed recently and while I adjust to my routine of being a new mom I would love the chance to provide love, attention, and care for your animals. I have a lot of love to give! About: Hi there, my name is Rilo! I’ve always been told that I’m “the most animal loving person” folks have ever met. I’ve been caring for animals since I became a reptile and bird keeper at age 8! My philosophy with animals is this: they are all autonomous creatures who deserve to be treated as such! Not only do they deserve love and attention, but also respect for their boundaries and needs. I have experience training puppies, as well as caring for sick cats and administering medication. I am alert and a safety first mind when walking dogs, and truly believe that high quality of life for pets can be found in mental and physical stimulation, which is why walks and creative play are cornerstones in my approach! You can count on detailed updates and photos of your pets when they are in my care, as reliable communication is key! I currently work part time remotely, so I have 20-30 available hours a week (weekends included!) for pet care! I am available for long term gigs, as my PT job is quite flexible! Safety is the most important thing to me. Luckily, working on horse farms will teach you a lot about animal safety. Leashes out to be held with two hands, doors must be closed at all times, and never cross the street without looking twice! (My other line of work is child care, can you tell I care a lot about safety lol!)
