“Ashton did an amazing job caring for my cat, Truffles. Truffles received a lot of love and companionship while I was away, and plenty of play time! I recommend Ashton to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Danielle is awesome! She was very professional and communicative throughout the process. Unless we knew she was in our home, we would have had no idea. She didn't leave anything out of place and it looked like she even took her trash with her. Our trash can was empty and all dishes were put away when we came home. She went above and beyond to respect our home. Our pups were also very comfortable with her. She will be out sitter whenever she is available. We're very happy overall!”

“Robyn is an amazing sitter and we can't wait to book her again! She is very professional and attentive and we fully trust her to stay in our home. Robyn is very prompt and provided us regular updates with pictures of our dog and gave us a real piece of mind while we were away. She's highly recommended!!”

“Bronte was WONDERFUL. We had a bit of a situation with a raccoon and our dog while outside in our fenced yard. Raccoon was looking to have our dog as a meal but Bronte was able to get the dog inside safely and alerted us immediately. Bronte was very patient and loving with our dog, will definitely call upon her again.”

“Natalie was amazing from start to finish, and made everything extremely easy. She sent pictures daily and was very responsive.”

About: I've had dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, fish, and even aquatic frogs in my life since I was about 7 years old. We currently only have guinea pigs in the house, but this past summer we had the joy and pleasure of having our daughter's dog live with us for a few months, and it was glorious! While my daughter was at work, I was responsible for feeding, walking, and playing with her dog. being a biomedical scientist, I am extremely cautious when it comes to giving any pet table food without asking the owner first. I have owned cats for a good part of my life, and occasionally cat-sit for a friend when her apartment is being treated for pests. We have some extended family members that are allergic to cats, so we don't currently have any cats in our home. Because our current schedule doesn't really allow it and because we take pet ownership VERY seriously (meaning cats, and especially dogs need and should have lots of attention) we don't have a dog... but would love to have one sometime in the future. Having Pumpkin (the pup) in our lives was wonderful. To satisfy that love for furry friends, I thought I would offer some services on Rover. I am a retired Neuroscience researcher, but recently went back to school for my BA in Music Composition, so I am always looking for places away from the distractions of my home to work on my compositions. I am not currently working outside of the home, so I have a lot of flexibility. While in Maryland, I often perform with some musical ensembles that hold evening rehearsals that run about 2 hours, so if your pet needs constant supervision, this should be considered. PLEASE NOTE: For overnight, longer-term pet/housesitting I prefer locations in Connecticut. Because some dogs and cats can be stressed by new environments, I would prefer to care for dogs and cats in their own home. One exception is my occasional care for cats that need to be removed from their premises for their own safety (when exterminators are working).

“Jason is always early. My beagle Chloe just loves him. Jason helped me get Chloe in my car because she is over weight . I would highly recommend him.”

“Excellent sitter! Brent took great care of our dog and hedgehog, leaving us with no worries as we enjoyed our family vacation. We will definitely book with Brent again 👍”

“Aryanna was wonderful. The dogs seemed to like her and were content to be with her. Especially the one dog who is very anxious about everything and everyone. Not only is she an exceptional woman who is incredibly authentic, endlessly empathetic, and such a gift to have in my life, but she has also on more than one occasional helped me care for my cats during emergencies. Pam generously agreed to care for my cats in a moment's notice, and she was a fantastic caregiver for them in my absence. They were well fed, well loved, and safe in her care.
