“Kate was excellent! We booked her for an overnight stay for our (in our house) - to keep him company since he has a little separation anxiety. She was very responsive in our communication and with the our pups needs. Our boy is sometimes shy with new people but he took to her right away and he even hung next to her while we did our initial meet up. She catered to him (walks, waters, and lots of cuddles) while she stayed and she left the house as she found it and was very respectful! Highly recommended!”

About: Cats and dogs have been part of my everyday life since childhood. Today my wife and I share our home with two cats and two dogs — so your pet is joining a household that already speaks their language. I've cared for family members' and friends' animals through house sitting, in-home drop-ins, feeding, walks, and play — at my place and at theirs. Laid-back, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals. Pet care is my full-time focus right now. While I take cybersecurity courses and work toward a new career in tech, my days are built around home — which means your pet gets consistent, attentive care every single day of the week. I am available for both daycare and boarding seven days a week with no gaps in availability. A typical day looks like this: Meals Three feeding periods — morning, midday, and evening — keep pets on a consistent routine throughout the day. Walks Dogs go out 6 to 7 times a day, roughly every 3 hours, so there are no long stretches of waiting — they stay active and comfortable all day long. Cat play Cats enjoy one to two dedicated play sessions each day to keep them stimulated and engaged. My home is a pet-friendly, well-organized space designed with animal comfort and safety in mind. Here's what you can expect: Resident dogs Two friendly small dogs — a Pomeranian and a Chihuahua — live in the home and are great companions for visiting dogs. They've spent time at doggy daycare themselves and are comfortable and experienced around other dogs, which helps guests settle in faster. Cats in the home There are cats in the household. Baby gates are in place throughout the home to create separated zones as needed, keeping cats and dogs comfortable and giving everyone their own space to decompress. Yard & outdoor time My yard is not fenced, so all outdoor time is leashed. With 6 to 7 walks a day, dogs get more than enough fresh air and exercise — and they're never left unattended outside. Crating A small dog crate is available if a pet is crate-trained or needs a quiet retreat. I'm also happy to use a crate provided by the owner if your dog is more comfortable in their own space.

About: I do not own a dog personally, however I have had experience caring for dogs. I have dogsitted for as long as I can remember, feeding, walking dogs and genuinely caring for them. I love all dogs alike and at the end of the day I just want to see your dog happy. I am very active, patient and gentle with pets and understand a dog/cats needs from experience and teachings from pet trainer friends and friends that own pets. I am meticulous and detailed when it comes to care, especially understanding that when dogsitting I am dealing with another persons pet, but most importantly an animal that deserves care and respect. Services will include -Meet and Greet. -Convenient/flexible drop off and pick up times. -Excercise/walks at least 3 times a day or whatever is preferred by the owner. -Sanitized rooms, vacuumed daily, and house will never be shared with other pets. -Around the clock attention for overnight boarding, I am able to be work from home every day when I have a dog in my care. I work from home in Ellicott city with time dedicated to care for pets. I am pretty flexible and willing to go out of my way for pet care work. I live in a very walkable and safe neighborhood community in Ellicott City. While not gated, it is a closed community and offers numerous paths for dog walkers, including a dog park nearby as well. There is a shared backyard where I have seen dogs play and ample space in my townhome. I have had cats/ dogs in my home in the past with no problem.

About: Hello! My name is Xin. I live in Ellicott City, Maryland, and hope to care for your fur-babies! I am newly-reactivated, but for the past 6 years I have fostered with the rescues Friends of Rabbits in MD and Penny and Wild in FL, so I have been active in the pet care and rescue community! I'd say I'm fairly active, going to the gym 4 days a week for strength training and running 4 times a week, so I have gotten strong enough to handle bigger dogs. I also love dogs that can run alongside me so I'm for you if you have an over-active dog! I've grown up with a dog, walked countless dogs of various ages, shapes, and sizes, have one house bunny and a former feral tuxedo cat of my own, and worked with caring for up to 14 cats at a time in a Petco! I'm also a rabbit foster and regularly foster and volunteer with local rabbit rescues and shelters - I have fostered at least 10 rabbits now and it's rare for my place to not have more than one enclosure at a time. My services include dog walking, day care, cat boarding and day care. I even have experience with rabbits with special needs, guinea pigs, and reptiles. I have a camera set up at all times for when I am away and use the app Alfred to track how my pets are doing, which you may access as well. I believe in open communication and constant vigilance when it comes to pet care- I see too often people being honestly audacious and trifling when it comes to pet care which is why I decided to reactivate my account after having taken an extended break from the platform (but not from pet care in general).
