I work from home teaching an online music studio and will have my entire day free until at least the coming school year, during which I will be teaching at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's OrchKids program as a Teaching Artist. I also spend some time at the gym and also run a lot; if your dog loves to run he or she is welcome to come along!

I have a camera set up at all times for when I am away and use the app Alfred to track how my pets are doing, which you may access as well. I believe in open communication and constant vigilance when it comes to pet care- I see too often people being honestly audacious and trifling when it comes to pet care which is why I decided to reactivate my account after having taken an extended break from the platform (but not from pet care in general). I will send as many photos and videos as you require (within reason) and every request will be accommodated for to the best of my ability. All pets except dogs will be indoors only.

- I need to know of any medical concerns and what treatments you have been using on your pets. If your pets are special needs, tell me how they should be handled, if at all! - Any specific dietary concerns and meal plans. - Leave any veterinarian information with me so that I can reference them if necessary. - I will need to make sure I can contact you whenever I need to talk to you about your pet. We can figure out what is the best way to do so.
A typical day
Dogs will get tons of outdoor time with me, and I get up early to walk them. I live in a neighborhood where there isn’t much traffic and we can walk around and enjoy ourselves. I'm very active and love to run multiple times a week, and if your dog enjoys that I will take them out on my excursions. I also love playing with dogs, so please bring their toys! Sometimes, though, I'll just chill with your dog on my bed and they can just relax with me while I watch TV or play video games! Cats will, well, have time with me too... If they want. Cats are fully indoors when I am watching them at my home or at your place. I'll also play with them if they're feeling up to it! Maestro loves to hang out with his mommy but he loves his own personal time too so I definitely understand. Rabbits and guinea pigs will be in a playpen during their stay, separated from Watson. They'll be around humans sometimes, but will also have time to themselves. Little ones like their privacy! They will get sunlight and if you request it rabbits can also get out-of-playpen time to stretch for a few hours. For tank enclosure animals like gecko's and snakes, they will be in a low stimulus room fully separate from and inaccessible by my cat.

Hello! My name is Xin. I live in Ellicott City, Maryland, and hope to care for your fur-babies! I am newly-reactivated, but for the past 6 years I have fostered with the rescues Friends of Rabbits in MD and Penny and Wild in FL, so I have been active in the pet care and rescue community! I'd say I'm fairly active, going to the gym 4 days a week for strength training and running 4 times a week, so I have gotten strong enough to handle bigger dogs. I also love dogs that can run alongside me so I'm for you if you have an over-active dog! I've grown up with a dog, walked countless dogs of various ages, shapes, and sizes, have one house bunny and a former feral tuxedo cat of my own, and worked with caring for up to 14 cats at a time in a Petco! I'm also a rabbit foster and regularly foster and volunteer with local rabbit rescues and shelters - I have fostered at least 10 rabbits now and it's rare for my place to not have more than one enclosure at a time. My services include dog walking, day care, cat boarding and day care. I even have experience with rabbits with special needs, guinea pigs, and reptiles. Xin is an amazing cat and rabbit sitter! She went above and beyond to take care of our special needs rabbit, who requires medication, bladder expression, and daily cleanup. She sent us lots of updates so that we weren't worried during our trip.
