House Sitting in Kingston

About: I've had family dogs for 13 years, but started taking care of some of my neighbors' dogs 5 years ago, whether it be taking them for potty breaks or staying over at their house to give them attentive care. I work part time at a pet boarding place as a kennel tech, so I have lots of experience with many different breeds and temperaments of both cats and dogs. I've worked with dogs of all sizes, from Yorkie to Saint Bernard, and have lots of experience caring for both puppies and senior pets that might need more rigorous attention. I will be working part-time this summer, meaning that on the occasional days I work, I am available any time before 8am and then after 1-2pm. I can still stay over with your pet any day, that just means that on workdays, I would feed and walk them (And any other things necessary) before 8am, and then have to leave for work and then come back at 1-2. Whenever I am not actively at work, I can spend all my time caring for your pets! I am experienced at reading pet body language and adapting to how they respond. I am very communicative and will send lots of updates about your pet, including daily pictures of your fur babies! I can supply treats (with your approval) and can take them to parks and other places for walks, as I have a car and license. I'm dedicated to making sure your animal is as happy as can be :-)

“Alicia was wonderful with Tucker. We had not used any service before or left Tucker with anyone outside of family and were very nervous because we didn't know anyone in the area. After meeting Alicia, we knew she was going to love on our 13 year old Maltese/Yorkie mix like he was her own. She would send us multiple pictures and texts during the day to let us know how he was doing. I left her instructions for him and for the house and she following them perfectly. We felt so relaxed being able to take a vacation, just the 2 of us and not have the pet responsibility for the first time since we got Tucker. Alicia went above and beyond to make us comfortable and was very respectful of our home and took care of everything. We will definitely call Alicia again. She is awesome and I would recommend her to anyone who has a pet with anxiety too. She did a spectacular job with Tucker!!!”

“Kate was excellent! We booked her for an overnight stay for our (in our house) - to keep him company since he has a little separation anxiety. She was very responsive in our communication and with the our pups needs. Our boy is sometimes shy with new people but he took to her right away and he even hung next to her while we did our initial meet up. She catered to him (walks, waters, and lots of cuddles) while she stayed and she left the house as she found it and was very respectful! Highly recommended!”

About: I have treated small cuts, and administered insulin to cats and dogs. I have cleaned many ears and eyes for both species in my past. I work at a special school beginning at 7:30 am and am finished with my work day at 3:30. I have off on major school holidays. I have a fenced in backyard and my daughter and I enjoy taking our boys on walks daily if weather permits. Our boys love our couch, and always pick the best seat in the house.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 8 years now with plenty of experience with most breeds, ages, and personalities! Coming from a family with 5 dogs, I have plenty of experience with handling multiple dogs schedules, feeding times, and medications. About: I’ve had multiple pets in my home since age 8. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. Aside from taking care of multiple animals in my home I also started regularly housesitting and dog sitting in high school. I have several years of work experience with children, demonstrating my responsibility, caring, attention to detail and relationship-building. i am a student, so i am only available for the summer. I am in between school and an internship so i have full availability day-to-day unless i have a conflicting appointment! I do not host pets in my home but I am more than familiar with the various safety measures some pet parents use like gates or crates. I am also experienced with walking big dogs, so I take extra precautions when walking to make sure that my puppies don’t go off leash or run into other aggressive dogs.
