House Sitting in Cooksville

About: I've had family dogs for 13 years, but started taking care of some of my neighbors' dogs 5 years ago, whether it be taking them for potty breaks or staying over at their house to give them attentive care. I work part time at a pet boarding place as a kennel tech, so I have lots of experience with many different breeds and temperaments of both cats and dogs. I've worked with dogs of all sizes, from Yorkie to Saint Bernard, and have lots of experience caring for both puppies and senior pets that might need more rigorous attention. I will be working part-time this summer, meaning that on the occasional days I work, I am available any time before 8am and then after 1-2pm. I can still stay over with your pet any day, that just means that on workdays, I would feed and walk them (And any other things necessary) before 8am, and then have to leave for work and then come back at 1-2. Whenever I am not actively at work, I can spend all my time caring for your pets! I am experienced at reading pet body language and adapting to how they respond. I am very communicative and will send lots of updates about your pet, including daily pictures of your fur babies! I can supply treats (with your approval) and can take them to parks and other places for walks, as I have a car and license. I'm dedicated to making sure your animal is as happy as can be :-)

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 8 years now with plenty of experience with most breeds, ages, and personalities! Coming from a family with 5 dogs, I have plenty of experience with handling multiple dogs schedules, feeding times, and medications. I also have plenty of experience with puppies, as well as senior dogs! I walk about 4-5 miles daily, so I am always active and ready to play with your pup! About: I have always had dogs and cats growing up, which peaked my interest in animal care. In high school I worked as a kennel technician at a boarding kennel and gained an internship at the local veterinary office. now in college, I am studying animal science to hopefully get a degree in veterinary medicine, and continue to pet sit for my friends and family including both cats and dogs. I'm currently home from college for the summer, and home most of the time! I do have a car, and am available almost any time of the day. I have pets in my home that are not socialized, so I would not be able to pet sit in my own home, but I am happy to make the trip to the comfort of their own home.

“I can't even begin to explain how wonderful a pet sitter Addie is! I was anxious to leave my 14 year old Yorkie and 19 year old kitty to go on vacation. They both have health issues and take multiple medications, and are used to me being home most of the time since I've been working from home the last 3 1/2 years. Addie came to meet my boys and patiently listened while I went through multiple pages of instructions and other information I wanted her to know. I could tell then that she was going to do a great job, and felt much better about leaving my guys. Addie stayed at our house 8 nights to care for them and worked from the house while here. She sent pictures and updates often, and was quick to respond whenever I checked in. (The Rover app makes it easy to communicate even when outside the country.) She left the house very nice and clean as well. I highly recommend Addie and hope to be able to use her and Rover when I travel in the future.”

About: I will treat your pet as if it is my own and will make sure they stay calm and happy while you are away!! I have experience with older dogs and puppies! I am available almost all summer.I am a full time college student working on my Bachelors of science but I am home for the summer. Pet sitting can be fit into my schedule as needed. I can let the dogs run outside for a while in a fenced yard, I can take them on walks through the neighborhood, I can practice commands, or just give some snuggles.
