“Ashley waked my dog for two weeks. She shared photos, walking paths, checkin and out times. Ripley was exhausted every day when I got home from work. Definitely plan to use her again and will recommend to others! She was great!”

“Sophia was fantastic! She has a soothing and calm presence that put both Nuka and I at ease. Care instructions were followed faithfully and I can tell my doggo had a great time. I highly recommend Sophia and hope to book Nuka with her again next time we travel.”

“Destiny was great with Belle. She came to pick her up on time, communicated with me in details about her walk with Belle and Belle seems very pleased with her. Will definitely recommend.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life, ranging all the way from seniors to pups. My parents and neighbors rely on me when away on trips to care for their furry friends with love. I love spending time with my pets and others alike, and ensure that their bellies, water bowls, and hearts, are always full. I am currently unemployed, and have no major obligations, so my schedule is super duper flexible! I am available starting 9AM almost everyday, and can stay past 10PM to give ample love and playtime. I care for every pet as if they're my own! I stick to their usual routine for meals, walks, playtime, and lots of love so they feel comfortable while you're away. Whether I'm in your home or mine, safety, patience, and plenty of cuddles are always my top priorities. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Just in the few walks we've scheduled with Lin, I can already tell she's the best dog walker we've ever had. Our dog looks forward to their walks together! I've also noticed how much better our dog walks on leash with us - she's not pulling as much.”

“Sara did an amazing job with my Bulldog Phil. He can be a handful sometimes and she did an amazing job making sure everything went smoothly. You can tell she really cares about animals. Definitely will be using her services again!”

About: I’ve had quite a lot of pups in my life! I have rescued 5 dogs from the street and got 4 rehomed! The first who I rescued, Paisley, was thrown out of a truck and I raised her in a dorm room! She needed lots of medicine so I can perform any medical treatment needed! And I also get the ups and downs of raising a puppy! I am a professional athlete and love that Rover lets me fit jobs into my schedule! I have always loved animals so this was something that never felt like work! Because of all my animals here, I tend to go to your place! I can make frequent stops or stay the night! Small animals I do take here!
About: I have experience training dogs of all sizes and ages. My family had dogs throughout the entirety of my childhood, giving me a deep appreciation for pets of all kinds growing up. I gained further training and experience through my employment at Petco as an operations specialist. Pet care has been a part of my daily routine for the entirety of my life. Whether it was making a special dinner for a picky-eater dog that needed medication, taking a rambunctious puppy out into the yard to relieve their energy, or taking multiple dogs out for a walk to make sure they get their exercise, pet care isn't just an addition to my routine, it is an integral structure to it. I have experience taking pets outside both in a yard and out on a leash for a walk. I have experience giving medication to animals of all kinds, as well as transferring animals into and out of crates/carriers.
About: As an experienced pet sitter and cat owner, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. By having my own pet I understand the need for patience, attention to detail, and maintaining routines. I provide compassionate care tailored to each pets needs and personality, treating every animal as if they were part of my own family. Im am currently working part time and at most work three times a week. This allows me to have a lot of availability to care for your animals! I care for pets in clients homes by following their normal routines to help pets feel safe and comfortable. I also give regular updates to owners and make sure the pets get plenty of love when their owners are away.
About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and have hands-on experience caring for and walking them. I’ve helped care for my family’s dog and regularly walk my neighbor’s dog, a role they’ve trusted me with and continued to hire me for many times. I have open availability throughout the week and can be flexible with scheduling, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Pet care fits very well into my current routine. When caring for a client’s dog, I make sure they get a safe, enjoyable walk while following any instructions provided by the owner. I pay attention to the dog’s energy level, behavior, and comfort throughout the walk.
About: I’ve dog sat over twenty dogs in the last few years, many repeated clients. Some I’d come by and hang out with them, some would stay at my house depending on behavior, needs, and preference . I’m generally flexible but will have unmovable classes. I can spend time with the animals depending on your expectations. Or just quick walks throughout the week. Based on the expectations of the owner. I let them have explore the house, work to gain their trust and then take them on early morning walks. Ensure the house is taken care of by locking up, any plants are taken care of etc.

About: I’ve never dog sit for someone else before but I would love the opportunity to do so! I have two dogs of my own so I know how to take care of them, give them their proper food, and take them on long and short walks! :) Im currently working part time at my job so for the most part i’m available! Best days and times for me would be Thursday, Friday, and the weekends preferably in the late morning, afternoon, or evening! At my house we have a lot of gates and fenced off areas so that they won’t pee or make messes. If needed I can easily do so! I can also try to feed them specific foods you might have and such.
About: Growing up, I have had several and feel very comfortable with most breeds and their distinctive traits. I am a believer that pets are just like children. They needs lots of love, attention and constant care. Because of my experience, I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing and caring for your dog. Our schedule is very flexible so it's easy for us to be there for your dog. We go on several walks a day, giving them a chance to go potty and enjoy playing with them to make sure they feel loved and secure while they're with us. Because we live on a 600 acre property, safety is our top priority. When we are taking walks with your dog, we will take every precaution necessary to ensure your dog is safe. You can bring your dog's favorite toys or blankets, however we have everything your dog would need to feel at home with us. I wash everything after each visit to make sure all of our things are clean for the next fur baby. We have food and water bowls, toys, beds, blankets, crates and even leashes. We spend our time creating a fun, happy, positive atmosphere full of good energy! I am experienced in caring for all types of dogs and cats, chickens, small animals, and have basic equine care experience. I have cared for dogs for over 30 years. I have fostered and provided support for dogs from young puppies to seniors that require special treatment, diet, medication and/or physical assistance, including amputee rehabilitation. One of my rescues (Penny) is blind, Luna has a single lung after three heart surgeries, and two are active seniors, Lani and Fiji! I use touch therapy on my dogs, along with holistic methods and work hard to keep our home full of health and happiness. Making sure our beautiful companions are comfortable, happy, and healthy is my goal! I feed my own dogs a holistic and healthy diet, and make their food and snacks myself. I volunteer with a local pet rescue group, where I transport animals, and help the organization with applications and adoptions. My true passion is to make babies with 4 legs wag their tails and show me that their hearts are truly happy! I am excited to bring my love, care, and joy to your pets, too!
About: My family and I have always had cats and dogs growing up. Our pets are family! As a mom to 2 young kids, I am unable to put the time and care into a doggie of my own … so I need YOURS to love up on! I am a preschool teacher and off for the summer so I am available and flexible! Other than dropping/picking up my kids from camp, I’m free! I have a fantastic path right behind my house that I always walked / would walk my dogs, if your baby stays with me. I am also happy to visit your pup(s) at their home and have them show me around their neighborhood! Anything to make your doggo happy, is what I want :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
