About: I love dogs and they seem to love me...cats, too! I am currently looking for pet sitting clients, in my home or the client's home. I live on a peaceful, private and safe property, bordered by the woods and a lake in Brookeville. I have cared for my own pets for most of my life and have also worked as a dog walker and dog hander at a dog daycare center. I have also fostered and rescued dogs and cats. I have an extensive background in unrelated fields, such as music, graphics/video, real estate, property management and working as a home healthcare aide. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. Best ~ Mark I can always put my pet clients and visitors first. Outside of working with animals, I work on music, home renovations, read, etc. My home is a large garage that I converted into a guest house with a recording studio. The house where I have pet guests is a private home near the woods. I have over 2 acres where I can walk dogs, plus 80 acres of woods behind the house for hikes. I have security cameras at the property. There is only one neighbor nearby and it is a very quiet and peaceful area. I am completely trustworthy as far as caring for client's pets. I have worked as a guitar teacher and pet handler, various other jobs that required background checks.
About: I used to work for a family that had a young high energy golden retriever and it was the best! I was able to provide the needs the family asked me for which included walking him, feeding him, giving him attention, and putting him in the kennel for bed. They also had a cat and I was able to care for her too, so I have experience with working with 2 animals at once. On top of that, I also have a cat and a dog of my own so I am very used to being with animals in the home and providing proper care for them. I am a college student who is home for the summer, and I am currently unemployed so I am extremely flexible! I would like to prioritize being a caregiver for pets before I go back to school to save some money for college. I am able to offer whatever care is needed for your animals. I am extremely flexible when it comes to pet owners expectations and needs, so that everyone is satisfied and happy!

“This is our first experience using a dog walker with Rover and we are very pleased with Destiny! We needed someone to walk our dog 3 times a day for two days. She arrived on time for all 6 walks and sent pictures of each walk. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Jaeda arrived on time for both the meet and greet and dog walk. She’s personable and took the time to get to know my pup a little better. She asked good questions about her habits and temperament. She was respectful of my home and pup!”

“Ana was great! The snow didn’t stop her from getting my dog to walk in this frosty weather. She is very responsible, dependable, accommodating and compassionate. (And I don’t say this about everyone on Rover!)”
“We can't say enough good things about Christina. We were looking for a dog sitter who was not only reliable but would also give our pup plenty of love and attention. Christina exceeded our expectations.”
“Naedra helped us out last minute. She was super easy to communicate with. She took great care of our puppy, taking him on two walks each day. She sent pictures and filled us in on everything. We really appreciated her helping us and will definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve had quite a lot of pups in my life! I have rescued 5 dogs from the street and got 4 rehomed! The first who I rescued, Paisley, was thrown out of a truck and I raised her in a dorm room! She needed lots of medicine so I can perform any medical treatment needed! And I also get the ups and downs of raising a puppy! I am a professional athlete and love that Rover lets me fit jobs into my schedule! I have always loved animals so this was something that never felt like work! Because of all my animals here, I tend to go to your place! I can make frequent stops or stay the night! Small animals I do take here!
About: I have had one cat and many dogs in my lifetime. I believe that dogs truly are mans best friend. My aunt is also an avid dog lover which is where I learned how much I enjoy caring for dogs. She has five dogs that are all varying in needs. Some need medicine every day, some can never be left alone, and some need a certain prepared type of food. I am comfortable with and have experience taking care of dogs with special needs, disorders, and disabilities. I also currently have two dogs of my own that are very different, one is an energetic 2-year-old who loves to play and be outside and the other is a very laid back 8 year old who prefers to sit inside and sleep. I love all animals alike and would be so happy to meet some new furry friends. I'm currently working part-time for the summer so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I'm available for walks, daycare, and overnight stays! I have experience with animals of all different energy levels and needs. I am vigilant and communicative with owners about their pets and will always keep you updated!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
