About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have always been actively involved in caring for them. I currently have three dogs of my own that I regularly walk, bathe, play with, and care for daily. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and I’m comfortable working with a variety of breeds, including bulldogs and pit bulls. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely love making dogs feel safe, happy, and cared for. I am a college student who just got back from college so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am willing to fit to your needs for your fur baby. At my clients home I will play with the dog as advised. If there is a fenced yard I will spend the day outside playing with the dog. If there is no fence we will go on walks and relax within the home.
“Stellar communication and super adaptable to my changing plans. I appreciated his focus on safety for my pup by initiating a meet and greet and being contentious of the heat index with my senior dog’s capabilities.”

“So happy to have found Elizabeth. She gave me a peace of mind seeing that she can handle my 80lb bundle of joy and energy. She was timely and utilized the instructions efficiently. So glad to have foundher in short notice while I start a new job.”

“Tess is a wonderful dog walker. She shows up promptly and keeps in touch with us. Our dog loves her and enjoys their daily walks. We are lucky to have Tess helping with walks for Benny.”

About: I love dogs and they seem to love me...cats, too! I am currently looking for pet sitting clients, in my home or the client's home. I live on a peaceful, private and safe property, bordered by the woods and a lake in Brookeville. I have cared for my own pets for most of my life and have also worked as a dog walker and dog hander at a dog daycare center. I have also fostered and rescued dogs and cats. I have an extensive background in unrelated fields, such as music, graphics/video, real estate, property management and working as a home healthcare aide. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. Best ~ Mark I can always put my pet clients and visitors first. Outside of working with animals, I work on music, home renovations, read, etc. My home is a large garage that I converted into a guest house with a recording studio. The house where I have pet guests is a private home near the woods. I have over 2 acres where I can walk dogs, plus 80 acres of woods behind the house for hikes. I have security cameras at the property. There is only one neighbor nearby and it is a very quiet and peaceful area. I am completely trustworthy as far as caring for client's pets. I have worked as a guitar teacher and pet handler, various other jobs that required background checks.
“Jaeda arrived on time for both the meet and greet and dog walk. She’s personable and took the time to get to know my pup a little better. She asked good questions about her habits and temperament. She was respectful of my home and pup!”

“Sophia was fantastic! She has a soothing and calm presence that put both Nuka and I at ease. Care instructions were followed faithfully and I can tell my doggo had a great time. I highly recommend Sophia and hope to book Nuka with her again next time we travel.”

About: As an experienced pet sitter and cat owner, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I provide compassionate care tailored to each pets needs and personality, treating every animal as if they were part of my own family. Im am currently working part time and at most work three times a week. This allows me to have a lot of availability to care for your animals! I care for pets in clients homes by following their normal routines to help pets feel safe and comfortable. I also give regular updates to owners and make sure the pets get plenty of love when their owners are away.

About: I have been caring for my own pets for 10+ years and could like to get into formal care. I have also pet sat for my friends and family in the past. As of now I am available daily for pet sitting or walking. I don’t mind waking up early. Would prefer not to be out too late alone. I like to hang out with my dog and take him for walks. He’s pretty lazy though so we just sit together a lot of the time. I will follow any instructions you leave.
About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and have hands-on experience caring for and walking them. I’ve helped care for my family’s dog and regularly walk my neighbor’s dog, a role they’ve trusted me with and continued to hire me for many times. I have open availability throughout the week and can be flexible with scheduling, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Pet care fits very well into my current routine. When caring for a client’s dog, I make sure they get a safe, enjoyable walk while following any instructions provided by the owner. I pay attention to the dog’s energy level, behavior, and comfort throughout the walk.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
