“Julia is amazing!! She is quick to respond and takes the most adorable pictures!! I also love the notes she leaves with each drop in. I would HIGHLY recommend her!! My dog absolutely loves her.”

“Anna has been extremely helpful as we navigate having a new puppy in our home. She gives our pup lots of attention and makes sure he gets several chances to go potty before she departs. She has been very flexible on the schedule and we are so happy to have her help! Our pup is so lucky to have her!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful! We did 3 drop in visits and each one was done in a timely manner with all the focus on the kitties. Communication was a breeze and our cats were very comfortable the whole time!”

“I was nervous to use this app, but after meeting with Kelly and explaining the process of Rover and how everything works made us feel at ease. She took wonderful care of our cat who can have an attitude, is different from most cats. She gave us prompt updates and pictures of our fur baby. She goes above and beyond, I strongly recommend her to anyone, THANK YOU again Kelly!”

“Delany is responsible, attentive, and communicative. She cared for our two cats for an entire week, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. She was also patient and thoughtful when an urgent issue came up and we couldn’t be reached right away. We truly appreciate her and would absolutely recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I currently have 3 golden doodles, ranging from 65-110lbs and one is handicap. I have had dogs my whole life, I love all animals. I have experience pet sitting cats as well. I have a full time job being a financial analyst, looking for some extra money. I currently work remotely, so I am very flexible with my time. I am able to drop in as needed. On weekends I am fully available for pet sitting as well. I have an electric fence for my dogs. However, one tends to not obey the fence, so he’s let out on a very long line connected to the yard so he can’t roam. I also take him for walks/runs a lot more often than the others. I do walk all 3 of my dogs at a time without any issues.

About: I’m able to give medications to dogs and cats as I’ve had hands on experience for years with many different breeds. I’m also able to brush cats and dogs as needed and I’m very adaptable to every need. I work part time at Playa Bowls and I am a student at HCC. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to adjust my schedule as needed. I have about 4 acres of land and a home big enough for pets to get the exercise and play that they need and deserve!
“Madeline was great with our golden retriever for a full week of drop in visits. She was on time every day and gave our dog lots of extra care and attention. I got a report card and pictures daily. I will book Madeline again and I recommend.”

About: I was born into a house of at least a dozen dogs and cats not to mention the farm animals. I have never lived without animals and since 2022 I volunteered then worked at CHN until its physical location closed due to financial problems. During my time at CHN I have worked with dogs of all kinds, all sizes and all temperaments. The best feeling for me has been earning the trust of dogs who were labeled dangerous, a bite risk, and or otherwise untouchable. I take my dog for a walk after going pee in the morning and then if I’m home I spend as much of the day with her as possible. If I’m at school or somewhere that doesn’t allow dogs I make sure to give her something to chew on while I’m out and take her into the yard when I get back before cuddle time. This question largely depends on the pet and the environment… for instance, some of the shelter dogs would relax a considerable amount if I let them free roam with me while I did chores, whereas other dogs were too much of a flight risk or, were recovering from something and couldn’t free roam. In general I try to keep the stress level of whatever animal I’m working with as low as possible. If that means giving them their space and pretending they don’t exist, then that’s what I do if it means sitting on the floor and waiting an hour for them to curl up next to me so be it, if they need near constant petting and reassurance I am here. Speaking with people who interact with and know the animal the most is where I base most of how I interact with an animal beyond that I mostly read body language. Sometimes there are things I have to do, like give medication, that the animal does not appreciate but I try my best to make it as hassle free as possible, and apologize/make it up to them afterwards.
About: For a few years, I kept exotic pets like fish and isopods. I've also volunteered at the Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and have spent time looking after the cats and dogs of my friends. I love taking care of animals when I’m not too busy with schoolwork. As someone who used to be an athlete, I really enjoy getting my exercise in, and love working with high energy animals. I also love spending time with more relaxed and laidback animals as a way to unwind. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priority. I'm ready to do anything to keep them happy and healthy. I look forward to meeting the emotional, behavioral, and physical needs of your pet.
“We have a new 7 month old pup that has a lot of fear and anxiety. Jasmine was very kind and patient with her. She will be our go-to when we need drop ins. Thanks Jasmine!”

“Christina was wonderful and so understanding of all the craziness she walked into with our dog. Very communicative and we loved to see our dog visibly happy in every photo we received!”

“Paula is always courteous, punctual, and so sweet to my pets. She leaves the house in great shape and sends photo updates, which are much appreciated. I would recommend Paula to anyone looking for a kind and responsible sitter.”

“Alex did drop in visits for my cat. She did a great job. My cat is shy around people she doesn't know. But she came out on the last day for pets. Very much appreciate her help!”
