About: I over 5 years of experience working professionally with dogs and cats. I also have personal experience with being a dog and cat owner my entire life. I have never met a animal I didn't like! I am Pet CPR/First Aid certified and am currently going through Fear Free training. I pride myself on providing superb pet care! I know that every pet is different, so I strive to build a lasting connection with each one by being patient and attentive to each ones needs. I am able to accommodate senior dogs, leash reactive dogs, fearful dogs, cats, puppies, and dogs with mobility issues. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am currently working part time as a vet teeth cleaning assistant and will be volunteering at a dog training facility some weeks, but I am able to plan my weeks ahead of time! I can accommodate early am (before 8am) and pm (7pm-10pm) walks/drop in on most weekdays but that varies. Some weeks I work 5 days and some weeks its one. Feel free to ask me! My saturday nights and all day Sunday is open. I would be a great back up walker/drop in person when your regular walker/drop in person isn't available! It depends on what your expectations are. I am able to care for other dogs in your home but not mine. I will follow whatever guidelines that are set.
About: I have had 10 years of dog sitting experience. I have cared for many different breeds and sizes of dogs, including labs, goldens, terriers, spaniels, frenchies, bull dogs, and more! Some specific dog experience I have included giving medications, watching puppies, and watching multiple dogs at once. I have had my own sweet dog for 8 years, so I understand the stress and worry that can come with leaving your dog with a sitter. Because of this experience myself, my goal is to be able to provide you with transparency, respect, warmth, and kindness. I love to send photos of your pets to you while you are away! I am currently a graduate student and work as a mental health therapist. My schedule is not the most “traditional,” which means I have flexibility during the day and my schedule depends on the day of the week. I have the ability to check on your pets throughout the day and give them all the love they deserve. I am someone who thrives on a schedule or routine, so I will be sure to follow your pet’s typical routine! Whenever I dog sit for a family, I feel honored and grateful to be trusted to not only care for their loved pet, but to be in their home. I am a very careful and respectful person, so I will always be sure to follow the rules I am left with. I value your space and your home, so I will be sure to leave your home clean and oragnized!
“Madeline was great with our golden retriever for a full week of drop in visits. She was on time every day and gave our dog lots of extra care and attention. I got a report card and pictures daily. I will book Madeline again and I recommend.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. Mainly cats and dogs but also bunnies, fish, birds, gerbils- all kinds! Growing up I would often pet sit for friends and neighbors. I am now a nurse but looking to incorporate more furry friends on my days off! I feel very comfortable accommodating to any medical or special needs your animal may have! My schedule is different every week. I do travel a lot which is why I don’t have a pet of my own, but whenever I am not working or traveling I am free to care for your furry friend! I am happy to accommodate whatever is needed for your furry friend! I am not able to have pets where I’m living currently but can keep them safe in their home! Whether that’s gating off certain areas or keeping them in a fenced yard.
“Taressse continues to be our go to dog walker! She is consistent, communicative, and has walked our two pit mixes regularly without incident, despite them both having tendencies to chase wildlife and one of them dogs sometimes being reactive to certain dogs and people in our neighborhood. Thank you Taresse! I don’t know what we would do without you during my recovery!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful! We did 3 drop in visits and each one was done in a timely manner with all the focus on the kitties. Communication was a breeze and our cats were very comfortable the whole time!”

“We were very happy with Delaney taking care of our sheltie and shih tzu. She accommodated a change in our initial schedule. She also sent pictures while were away to show the boys walking and playing. I appreciated the way the Rover app works with communicating when check-ins occur. We wouldn't hesitate to have Delaney take care of our boys in the future.”

About: I have always been a dog lover so I will give your dog the love and affection as if they are my own. Currently I work at a Doggie Daycare and boarding so I have experience with all different types of dog breeds, I am able to distinguish behavioral pattern and provide the care that is needed. I aim to please owners by providing the upmost experience without any problems. I want to ensure the trust of every owner and dog to be able to build long lasting relations. I aim to give at least 3 walks per day to make sure there aren’t any accidents. I also plan on going to dog parks to give them their play time. I will make sure to give each dog treats for good behavior. I will provide daily belly rubs and cuddles that will benefit the both of us. My goal is to leave everyone satisfied with each experience so that we may continue to work together. I currently work full time at a Doggie daycare and boarding facility, which consists of being in a room with 20+ dogs, playing& cleaning up after every dog, also monitoring the behaviors or each dog and making sure there aren’t any altercations while in my care. My daily routine consists of taking dogs on walks before my shifts and taking them after my shifts, and while I am at work my sister often lets the dogs out for potty breaks. My first thing would be to make sure the dog is comfortable in my house, I will also make sure they are comfortable with my presence. I will try my best to make sure the dog makes no messes while I’m caring for them. I will always clean up after myself and the dog.
“Christina was wonderful and so understanding of all the craziness she walked into with our dog. Very communicative and we loved to see our dog visibly happy in every photo we received!”

“Zachary was great! The visit turned out to be a drop-in visit where he and my girl Bella met for the first time. Zachary was caring enough to commit to giving Bella more time to get to know him.and he was concerned and expressed his desire and willingness to help me without me having to ask or convince him to give us more meet and greet time. You are a God send and I’m so glad you are willing to try to help help us. Thank you.”

“Yolanda did a fine job with our two little dogs. She is enthusiastic, vigilant, and thorough in everything including reporting on her visits. We will definitely use her again and recommend her.”

“Stephanie is AMAZING! I am so glad I found her. I was in search of a new cat sitter and found Stephanie. She recently watched my two kitties and did a phenomenal job. She was always on time, followed all instructions left, communicated with me during her visits, and sent tons of fun pictures. It’s clear that Stephanie loves what she does and has a true passion for taking good care of one’s pets. I will definitely be using her moving forward! She’s great!!!!”

“Angela was the BEST! Our two kittens loved her so much and warmed up to her so quickly. During the initial meetup she was so attentive and friendly and we felt really relieved leaving our cats in her hands. She sent so many awesome photos and videos of her and the kittens while we were away and we could tell how much they were at ease with her. Would definitely recommend Angela as a pet sitter to anyone.”

About: Most of my pet care experience started January 2025 with the rescue of my pit-mix BB. She was the longest resident at the shelter, and just needed love and a chance. She has returned my fiance and I's love over and over. I grew up with family pets and outdoor cats, and knew the basics of animal care. I wanted a stable life to give any pet the life they deserve! I am grateful for BB and for the village that helps care for her. I hope to be a part of your pets' village! I am currently transitioning between careers, and have the extra time to dedicate to the extra furry ones! Quality time is deeply important to me, and I hope to build bonds on this journey. Without a fenced yard for BB to run around, my fiance and I take turns walking her around our neighborhood circuit. I typically take the morning and he takes the evening. We take extra walks for exercise and socializing, and book SniffSpots to let her run loose! BB has a crate that she sometimes opts to rest in, but 99% of the time she is napping at our feet.

Sierra is so knowledgeable which was immensely helpful with my cats as I was getting ready to leave on vacation, my male cat had an episode of stress cystitis. Sierra knew about this disorder, gave me advice, particularly on how to entice the cats to eat the new renal wet food that they hate, and I felt extremely comfortable with her monitoring my male cat for any issues while I was out of town. She sent updates and kitty pics which I love. I will definitely hire again! 😻

I do not have the easiest cats. One is super shy and the other just tolerates people. Amanda did a great job with them! She patiently coaxed my shy one out and even got my standoffish one to play. She sent video snippets that showed they were happy and well taken care of. Thank you, Amanda!!

This was my first time leaving my young cat for a week. Richard did an excellent job of checking on him each day, scooping the box, serving up fresh food, putting out fresh water, and sending me daily updates with photos. My cat Calvin is very skittish, but Rick did his best to find his hiding spots to be sure he was okay, and giving him treats and coaxing him out with his favorite toy. Highly recommended!

Caroline was absolutely wonderful while we were away on vacation! She took amazing care of our boys, making sure they always had fresh food, water, and plenty of attention. She kept us updated with the sweetest photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. It was clear they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would happily book with Caroline again. Highly recommend!

Corinne was an excellent cat-sitter for our kitten, Mercy. She was super friendly and patient. She came timely, daily. She played with him daily and took pics! She even did an unplanned vet trip, which was super helpful, as we noticed round worms prior to our trip and were super worried for his health and comfort! Would use her again. Highly recommend :)

Stephani rocks!! I’ve had her as my cat sitter for almost a year now. She has taken such great care of my boys when I’m gone. She’s quick to respond and has been super flexible with my last minute requests. After her visits she makes sure to send plenty of photos and detailed recaps when needed. Kudos to her for also dealing with my boys anxiety which sometimes results in them getting sick and vomitting. If you’re looking for an animal sitter who is reliable and who will take good care of your fur babies, Stephani is your lady!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
