“Bucket our dog had a blast during her visit. They have a large back yard for lots of outdoor time for our very active dog. Great at communication and I would book again!”
“My dog, Molly did really well with Patricia and her family. I received wonderful photos of her daily. As an older dog with some medical issues and daily medication, I was concerned about leaving her for over two weeks. They took great care of her and made sure she got her medicine. She came home happy and relaxed, so I know she felt very comfortable in their care. I would definitely use them again and feel very grateful for the loving care they gave Molly. I highly recommend using them to anyone looking for great care for their pet.”
“Poh Huey is absolutely amazing. She took great care of our dog Belle recently when we were out of town. She was responsive, courteous, and very professional. Huey was genuinely attentive to Belle, which was greatly appreciated. She provides video/photo updates. Her fenced backyard with artificial turf provides a safety and clean playground for dogs. Her two dogs are super friendly. Huey is the best!!”

“Simply put, Theresa is the best caregiver for our dog we’ve ever met. We’ve taken multiple trips where Lucy was unable to accompany us and she’s always stayed with Theresa, instantly making Lucy part of her family. Theresa provides daily updates, photos and has provided an outstanding “secondary” home for our pet. Lucy is always comfortable, well taken care of and loved as if she was theirs in all aspects. We appreciate everything Theresa does when Lucy stays and we will continue to use Theresa’s services in the future. Thanks Theresa - you are truly like a second mother to our dog.”
“Bria took care of our 40 lb pooch for a long weekend in October. It seemed like Mocha had a great time. The fact that Bria owns a dog was a plus for Mocha, since they got along well. I think the starting point for a lot of services including pet sitting is good clear communication and this is a strength for Bria. She is easy to reach, easy to make arrangements with, and quick to follow-up. She is interested in a good experience for the pet and attentive to details regarding any particular pet, which puts an owner's mind at ease. Good frequency of photos during Mocha's stay to give us a sense that things were alright. Also Bria's location is great for Petworth area - convenient and near the center of things but with a nice peaceful section of neighborhood for walks. Overall great experience and we would recommend her and have Mocha with her again.”

“This was my first time using Rover and it will not be my last. Felice, Ken, and Tyler treated my little girl like a princess. In each photo, she seemed to be having so much fun. Felice, Ken, and Tyler sent me numerous photos and included Riley in all of the family activities. When Ken realized Riley preferred to eat alone, he moved her feeding bowl to a more private area. The family was so attentive, and I will definitely book again.”

“Sophia was wonderful. This was the first time leaving our dogs with a Rover sitter, and the first time having them watched in someone else's house. So I was really nervous but Sophia was super communicative, sent photos every day and always responded immediately to my messages. 10/10 wonderful experience. We are using her again in March and looking forward to it.”
“Ms.Tanisha was amazing with my girl Bella! She recognized that Bella gets a bit anxious when away from me and allowed her time to get adjusted with her household. She sent a bunch of pictures, updates, and fast replies. If Bella had to stay away from home again I would choose her! Bella was definitely in good hands :)”
“Thank you so much for taking such good care of our dogs! They came home tired and happy. We loved seeing all the photo and video updates. Thanks also for being flexible when it looked like our return home would be postponed due to weather. We’d love to work with you again.”

“Tristan is awesome with our two kitties! They are a bit high maintenance when it comes to meal time, and Tristan does an awesome job sticking to their routine. He gives us great updates and is always quick to respond. We are definitely at ease knowing he is taking care of Coffee and Bailey whenever we are out of town!”

“Ana is easily the best cat sitter I've ever hired (and I say that, never having had a bad experience with a pet sitter). She watched our 2 nervous cats and went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of. She even did an extra check-in when one of our cats wasn't eating and cleaned up their vomit. Thank you very much, Ana, and we will definitely hire you again.”
“This was my first time using Rover and I was a bit anxious how it would go and giving a stranger access to our home. Especially because one of our 2 cats has kidney disease kitty and needs fluid injections every 2 days. But Sarah was absolutely lovely and awesome. You can see that she loved our two kitties, and it looks like everything went really well with our kidney patient. I got pictures and videos every day and they both warmed up easily to Sarah. Sarah gave me a real piece of mind while traveling and I will definitely book her next time I need a sitter ( if she is available). Thank you!!!”

“Lauren was amazing and Kai came home super tired! Lauren sent pictures and updates throughout the day and took excellent care of him! She is professional, caring and very communicative. Kai had so much fun playing with the other dogs and running around the big, fenced areas! We felt extremely comfortable leaving him there and will be booking again soon.”
“Wow - Maria is sooo understanding! The clocks at work were not changed for daylight savings, so I was an hour late for an already late pick up. Maria was very kind and understanding. It really makes me feel great to know they are always looking out for Sparky, and now for me as well!”
“Danielle was so kind to accommodate us last minute for daycare. She asked plenty of questions to get familiar with my dog’s needs and was even willing to give him water from a plastic cup due to his pickiness. Looking forward to hopefully working with her again!”

“Ebot responded to my booking request quickly & was also very polite with his communications. Jäger didn’t finish his two days booked with him. I don’t think it was a great fit for Jäger & think ebot would do best caring for dogs who don’t mind being crated and are smaller in size who also don’t mind being left. Apparently my dog displayed anxious behaviors he has never displayed before in his 4 years of rover daycares but I think it just wasn’t the best fit. Love ebot’s energy & personality though & wish him the best of luck! I think he’ll do great with other pups”
“Abigail was very responsive and available at the last minute! Totally worth it !! Abigail is so friendly, and while my dog has anxiety, she knows how to handle him. Her updates and pictures are great, i text her to apologize that i was running late and she say no plm at all .she asked my permission to feed him for dinner and pic of the food she gave him . I am grateful that she do care for my skipo. As dog sitter i am definitley keep her ..”
“Josh and Andres are amazing! We have a two year old GSP who can be really nervous towards strangers (Covid puppy) and they did everything to make us and our pup comfortable. They sent us multiple pictures while our pup was at daycare with them, and our GSP seemed like he had such a great time! We’ll definitely be bringing him to them more often.”
“Our dog, Walter, is enjoying going to Sharon's house for day care. Sharon has a beautiful yard where he can run. Her four Shelties have made friends with Walter. Sharon loves dogs and provides wonderful day care.”
“Cal was incredible with Henry, especially because of Henry’s apprehensions with men. I received great updates and communication was excellent. I am confident in my choice to book repeat visits and trust Cal & Kelly will continue to help nurture our rescue pup! Henry was happily exhausted when he got home, and I highly recommend them.”

I have experience with medication management, fragile pets with mobility issues, anxiety and more. I work full-time from home so as long as I have a WiFi connection I’m in good shape. Plenty of time for walks and playtime I am available for walks, drop ins, day care or boarding in my home or yours. I have a fenced yard and literal miles of sidewalks and trails near me for walks. I offer run of the house for dogs who can do that, or safe smaller spaces for little ones. “Julia, I want to thank you for stepping up and helping us when another walker had a family emergency starting the first day of the booking. Moxie enjoyed your company and attention and I was able to complete a business transaction without the distraction of worrying about Moxies's welfare. Good Job!”
“This was our first time using Anna to walk our pup and we would definitely use her again. She came over a few days before we needed her to meet us and our dog. Her experience with dogs showed in the questions she asked and her interaction with our dog. She was very professional and communicative. She left detailed notes for us after her visits and shared some great photos. We highly recommend her if you are looking for a responsible dog walker.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ana was absolutely amazing with our dog while we were away for 10 days. She was scheduled to walk him twice a day and feed him after each 30-minute walk, but she often went above and beyond by stopping by three times a day. She was always punctual, caring, and incredibly attentive. When he had an accident in the house, Ana thoroughly cleaned everything up without us even having to ask. What really gave us peace of mind was her constant communication—she sent regular texts, photos, and videos of their walks, which made being away so much easier. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will absolutely book her again. Highly recommend! 🐶💙”
About: Cats and dogs have been part of my everyday life since childhood. Today my wife and I share our home with two cats and two dogs — so your pet is joining a household that already speaks their language. I've cared for family members' and friends' animals through house sitting, in-home drop-ins, feeding, walks, and play — at my place and at theirs. Laid-back, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals. Pet care is my full-time focus right now. While I take cybersecurity courses and work toward a new career in tech, my days are built around home — which means your pet gets consistent, attentive care every single day of the week. I am available for both daycare and boarding seven days a week with no gaps in availability. A typical day looks like this: Meals Three feeding periods — morning, midday, and evening — keep pets on a consistent routine throughout the day. Walks Dogs go out 6 to 7 times a day, roughly every 3 hours, so there are no long stretches of waiting — they stay active and comfortable all day long. Cat play Cats enjoy one to two dedicated play sessions each day to keep them stimulated and engaged. My home is a pet-friendly, well-organized space designed with animal comfort and safety in mind. Here's what you can expect: Resident dogs Two friendly small dogs — a Pomeranian and a Chihuahua — live in the home and are great companions for visiting dogs. They've spent time at doggy daycare themselves and are comfortable and experienced around other dogs, which helps guests settle in faster. Cats in the home There are cats in the household. Baby gates are in place throughout the home to create separated zones as needed, keeping cats and dogs comfortable and giving everyone their own space to decompress. Yard & outdoor time My yard is not fenced, so all outdoor time is leashed. With 6 to 7 walks a day, dogs get more than enough fresh air and exercise — and they're never left unattended outside. Crating A small dog crate is available if a pet is crate-trained or needs a quiet retreat. I'm also happy to use a crate provided by the owner if your dog is more comfortable in their own space.
“We can't say enough good things about Christina. We were looking for a dog sitter who was not only reliable but would also give our pup plenty of love and attention. Christina exceeded our expectations.”
“Catherine was absolutely wonderful! She was so accommodating with my schedule, and I’m so grateful for the amazing care she took of Sadie. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Sadie was in good hands. I will definitely be using Catherine again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and accommodating dog walker. Thank you so much, Catherine!”
About: To this day I am shocked by and grateful for how much love and joy our pets, Ovie and Ashe, bring into our home. I know that being away from them is never easy, so it is my goal to provide your pet with the care and adventure they expect, and to provide you with the peace of mind you deserve. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available for boarding throughout the week and look forward to excuse for some more time outdoors. I have a nice yard on a quiet street. While our yard is unfenced, your fur-friend will never be unsupervised. Inside our home we have two friendly dogs to keep yours entertained. We love being outside and have nearby walking paths and trails accessible for tons of sights, sounds, and smells!
About: Hello, I’m new to the app and am looking to make some furry friends! I am a true dog lover and enjoy adapting to each dog’s personality and needs. I’m a very active person who loves being outdoors, so I’m always happy to go on long walks, play, and keep energetic dogs engaged. At the same time, I’m patient and calm, which helps dogs feel comfortable and relaxed. Whether your dog wants an adventure or just a companion to hang out with, I’m happy to be exactly what they need. As a recent college grad, I currently have a very flexible schedule, and I am taking some time during the summer before starting the next chapter of my career pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy spending time with animals and being outdoors whether it’s going for walks playing or simply keeping a pet company care for animals is something I find rewarding and look forward to. When caring for pets, I like to follow the routine they are already used to so they feel safe and comfortable. I thrive with structure, so I appreciate clear instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications for feeding, or any special needs. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in their home, my goal is to be present, attentive, and give them the care they need.
About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was 17. Family, neighbors, and friends have trusted me to walk, feed, clean up after, and comfort their pets while they’re away. Whether it’s a snuggly cat or an energetic pup, I always approach animals with patience and love. I currently work part-time, so I’m flexible and can make time for drop-in visits or overnight stays at your home. I’m available on weekends and most weekdays after 2PM. I’ll treat your home with care—and your pets like family. I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I provide thoughtful, reliable care in your space—where your pets feel most secure. I respect your home, follow your pet’s routine, and ensure they feel safe, soothed, and seen while you’re away.

“Xin is a wonderful dog walker- she's a great communicator, excellent with our dog and timely! She even did some research on harnesses and leashes for us! We will continue to use Xin and highly recommend her to other families.”
“Gianna started walking my dog weekly about a month ago. I went back and forth as to whether or not I wanted to hire someone given my dog’s reactivity on walks. I could not be happier with our choice to have Gianna!! She is responsible, communicative, patient and kind. My dog is noticeably happier when I get home, and it feels like a huge weight is off our shoulders to know he is being cared for by someone who cares for and loves him like I do. I can’t recommend her enough!!”

“Felt very comfortable boarding our dog with Nettie. We had a great meet and greet with her and her dogs first which gave us a lot of confidence. Our dog has some special needs and she was very tuned into ensuring he'd have a safe and fun stay. She's incredibly knowledgeable and caring with dogs and provided us with lots of helpful training tips. We received lots of videos of him during his visit and look forward to going back to her again.”
“I’m so happy that I chose Rodney! Jaxson was well taken care of while I was on vacation. They even sent pics of him daily which really helped me to relax and enjoy my trip. I plan on this being my permit sitter moving forward!”

He was incredibly attentive to her needs and kept me updated with frequent photos and videos, which really put my mind at ease. It was clear she was in great hands and being treated like family. I highly recommend Jason to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”
“Churro stayed with Viona and John for a week and had the best time. They have a big backyard where he got to run around and play, became best buddies with their Golden Retriever, Maxie, and also had so much fun with their kids. What we really appreciated was how comfortable they made us feel while we were away. They clearly know dogs and have a lot of experience, and they kept us updated every day with pictures and videos. Churro got lots of walks and attention. Honestly, he was spoiled in the best way. We could tell he was happy and well cared for the whole time. We’d definitely book with Viona and John again!”
“Andrea is the perfect sitter! I appreciated her flexibility with drop off and pick up times and her very calm, personable and welcoming demeanor. Sarge loved being at her house and was already exploring the house by the time I left. Andrea made sure he had all the comforts of home and even got him to sleep in a dog bed that she provided. When I picked him up, he was very content and in no hurry to go home. I have already booked another stay, as I know Sarge will be in good care with Andrea.”
“I had a wonderful experience boarding my dog, Hazel, with Bryn. At the meet and greet, Hazel obviously liked Bryn (which is not always the case when meeting new people) so I knew we were off to a great start. Bryn has a calm personality and definitely is knowledgeable about dogs. She has a lovely home and a great fenced in backyard where the dogs can play. Her dog, Kepler, is very sweet. Bryn sent pictures and updates during Hazel's stay and reported that she did very well. She followed my instructions as far as giving Hazel her medications. I'd happily recommend Bryn to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.”
“She kept us updated with all of Duke’s activities throughout his stay. He caught the zoomies several times which means he loved his time with her and her husband and other dogs during his stay. We will book again!”
