“Maria and Fernando did a great job taking care of Benny. They sent lots of pictures every day, and my dog was very happy when I picked him up. We will definitely be back.”

“Andrea is the perfect sitter! I appreciated her flexibility with drop off and pick up times and her very calm, personable and welcoming demeanor. Sarge loved being at her house and was already exploring the house by the time I left. Andrea made sure he had all the comforts of home and even got him to sleep in a dog bed that she provided. When I picked him up, he was very content and in no hurry to go home. I have already booked another stay, as I know Sarge will be in good care with Andrea.”

“Maria is wonderful with my dog Teddy. And he is always so excited to see her when we drop him off. It’s a peace of mind knowing he will be well taken care of, playing with other dogs and getting plenty of attention and exercise with her”

“Diana and Filipe take such good care of our dog. During this stay, he required some extra care and they did a wonderful job. My dog gets so excited when he knows we are headed to their house. He loves them!!”

“Marylee was absolutely wonderful from the first day I met her to discuss watching my dog Molly. I appreciated how thorough she was with her advance questions about Molly and the opportunity to meet with her first, and really appreciated the way she kept me posted on Molly's day along with the photos she sent. She and her husband Alan's love of dogs shines through!”

“This was my first time with Deivy and it was great ! My sweet Kaina was happy and felt at home. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation out of town. I would definitely use him again !”

“Ken did a wonderful job with Jackson! It was his first time with him. He was extremely communicative and kept me updated throughout the entire time with regular messages and pictures. It was so reassuring to see how well Jackson was doing and how much care Ken was giving him. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the thoughtful updates — it made all the difference. Highly recommend!”

“We left our precious Ruby with Pam and her family for two weeks and it was the best choice we could have made. Ruby was just finishing her first heat and scheduled to be spayed after we returned from our vacation, and having an unspayed dog was no problem for Pam. She send pics and videos while we were away so we could see our beloved pup. Ruby was so happy to play with her Chihuahua. She does not take in a bunch of dogs at once, which works out perfectly for Ruby, since she seems to cling to one dog at a time when she plays. Pam took great care of Ruby - maybe too great, as Ruby seemed to want to stay with her new best friend when I came to pick her up :-). It was a pleasure working with Pam and most of all a relief knowing that Ruby was in great hands.”

“Robert and Pamela were amazing with my girl! They treated her as their own and she came back super happy! I received daily pictures and was overall really impressed. They have a large backyard that is perfect for playtime. I realized I didn’t have enough food for my girl while I was going to be gone, and they even offered to help pick up more food for her. Super sweet people! Definitely will be using them again!”

“Adva was a great host. She accepted my last minute request and provided me constant updates throughout the stay. I'm convinced that staying with Adva and her family was like a vacation for my pup. I very highly recommend her as a host and I would definitely book with her again. ”

“Aster helped us in a very last minute pinch when our dog sitting plans fell through for an out of town vacation! Our puppy is under a year old and has a leg injury so required some special attention and care. This made us extra nervous to leave her but we received so many wonderful updates throughout our trip. Our pup loved her time away because of how awesome Aster and her family took care of her. We’ll absolutely be booking with them again!”

“Jacquline was very efficient with feedback and she sent pictures of bailey enjoying her time with Jacquline family. Jacquline is kind and loves animals. She and her daughter was the perfect match for bailey while I was on vacation. I would definitely work with Jacquline again.🥰🥰”

“Jenna and her family were wonderful and patient with my nervous girl. She provided lots of updates and put me and my pup at ease. I know my girl had a great time as she came home happy and calm. I would definitely board with Jenna again!”

“Best sitter on Rover! Went on a weeklong vacation and received multiple texts, photos and videos daily. Gotti was always out and about doing something fun and getting exercise. I will be using “Jason” in the future! Highly recommend his services!”

“Julijai kept us updated with photos and videos of how our dog was doing. He had a great time playing in the backyard and hanging out on the couch. Would absolutely book again.”

“This was our pups' second visit with Teresa and Ted. I didn't worry about the pups at all while we were traveling, and the pups were very happy and had a great time on their own vacation. I will be booking them again!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
