He loves playing with the other dogs. Maria and Fernando take such good care of Toby. I never worry if he has a good time. They send pictures throughout the day. “We have a 2 year old St Bernard (Sasha) and a 5 year old mid sized mixed dog (Nutmeg). A long time family friend use to watch our babies when we'd travel but he aged out if being able to handle the large dogs. So when we were heading out for an adventure in remote and isolated Southern Argentina, I was quite concerned about dog care. Wanted something more like home than a kennel. In house care at our place or something equally hospitable was the goal. I searched quite extensively and actually signed up a woman to watch the dogs at our house, but she was 61 and I did not have a warm feeling about her being able to handle our big girl who can become quite excited with squirrels, deer abd other dogs, so I went back to the search. I came across Josh and Andres who looked good on paper so we went for a visit. They were obviously nice and caring folks who could handle whatever came their way. I felt very good about them caring for our girls. And I/we were not disappointed. We received daily correspondence with photos that helped ensure our peace of mind. And returned home to find happy and healthy pups. These are our go-to guys for dog care for our future needs.”

He is also a rescue, and, while a gentle pup, we just didn’t know for sure how he would behave away from home and his family. “Marshall’s first visit to a home sitter went very well. Bria seems to really love dogs. Marshall’s appetite seemed to have picked up, and he’s more energetic. Seems as though being around other dogs has perked him up although I had reservations about her two dogs. One is very big, but seemed harmless. I feared he might scare and make Marshall nervous. Thankfully, that was not the case. On Sunday when I arrived at the set time, Marshall was bathed and ready to go. I definitely will use her service again.”

At the meet and greet, Hazel obviously liked Bryn (which is not always the case when meeting new people) so I knew we were off to a great start. Bryn has a calm personality and definitely is knowledgeable about dogs. She has a lovely home and a great fenced in backyard where the dogs can play. Her dog, Kepler, is very sweet. Bryn sent pictures and updates during Hazel's stay and reported that she did very well. She followed my instructions as far as giving Hazel her medications. “Churro stayed with Viona and John for a week and had the best time. They have a big backyard where he got to run around and play, became best buddies with their Golden Retriever, Maxie, and also had so much fun with their kids. What we really appreciated was how comfortable they made us feel while we were away. They clearly know dogs and have a lot of experience, and they kept us updated every day with pictures and videos. Our 1-year-old pup Boomer had an amazing stay with Lauren. She kept him happy, active, and well cared for the entire time. He got to enjoy lick mats, a 2-mile walk, several play sessions, and lots of playtime with other pups which was perfect for burning off his energy. He does have a bit of separation anxiety and I was nervous about his first Rover stay, but it is clear he was comfortable, entertained, and treated like one of her own. She sent daily updates with lots of pics and was very responsive. I really appreciated the attention and care Lauren gave him, and I would absolutely trust her with him again. Highly recommend!
I couldn’t decide between 3 stars and 4 so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Alexia seemed to do a good job with the dogs. We actually thought she would be our forever sitter being that she was close by. However, communication was difficult with Alexia. During the time the dogs was with her it took a very long time for her to get back to me on check ups. She eventually did and everything was fine but the worry it caused while I waited was concerning. My babies came back in one piece and seemed happy so I was happy. After the stay was over Alexia reached out to me with a concern. I reached back out to her multiple times but assumed at this point she was just ignoring me. I tried calling and texting with no response. I can’t address a concern if there’s no communication.
