The house where I have pet guests is a private home near the woods. I have over 2 acres where I can walk dogs, plus 80 acres of woods behind the house for hikes. I have security cameras at the property. There is only one neighbor nearby and it is a very quiet and peaceful area. I am completely trustworthy as far as caring for client's pets. I have worked as a guitar teacher and pet handler, various other jobs that required background checks.

Information Mark S. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know as much about the dog(s) or cat(s) as possible before hosting or staying at a clients home. Age, breed, size, temperament, diet, etc.

A typical day

Fun activities would include playing catch, giving treats, going for walks and runs, etc. There are several places in the house for a nice nap and a comfortable kitchen where I can provide meals.

Pet care experience

I love dogs and they seem to love me...cats, too! I am currently looking for pet sitting clients, in my home or the client's home. I live on a peaceful, private and safe property, bordered by the woods and a lake in Brookeville. I have cared for my own pets for most of my life and have also worked as a dog walker and dog hander at a dog daycare center. I have also fostered and rescued dogs and cats. I have an extensive background in unrelated fields, such as music, graphics/video, real estate, property management and working as a home healthcare aide. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. Best ~ Mark

Sally loved her time with Mark. He has a great space and access to many acres for long walks. I felt very comfortable leaving Sally with him for the weekend and will definitely reach out again when in the area and needing doggie boarding.

Mark did an amazing job taking care of our boston terrier Roxie when we were on vacation. Mark sent texts to us during our week at the beach showing Roxie out on walks and playing in the yard. Her special diet needs were all adhered to, and we came home to a happy, health dog. I would recommend Mark to everyone as a conscientious dog sitter.

Mark loves animals and has had an animal most of his life. He is very caring and responsible and reliable. Mark has taken care of my two dogs off and on for years. I always feel comfortable with my pets under Mark's care. CYS
