About: I have owned and fostered many dogs throughout my life. I have been pet sitting on my own for about 5 years, but with my family for even longer. I get out of school at 11 AM, so I am available throughout the day. This time slot is amazing, as many people aren’t available until after the work day. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, making your dog happy! Getting out of the yard is their version of our getting out of the house. Dogs like a change of scenery too!
“Alex was amazing at watching our cat for a week while we were away. She was extremely responsive and communicative and took great care of our kitty. We would definitely seek Alex’s help again!”

“Melissa has checked in on our Pup multiple times this summer. She is very reliable, communicative, and caring. She always lets us know when she's on the way, stays the full time, and sends lots of pics. I would definitely recommend her for any pet sitting services.”

“Sarah was amazing with Miso! Dropped by every day and gave my sweet girl all the attention she deserved. She also took some amazing pictures of her to send to me! Will definitely book again next time I’m out of town. Thanks Sarah 🫶🏽”

“Marion was so generous while checking on our cats during the holidays. She gave them extra love and attention above and beyond what we expected! We came home to very happy cats that were almost disappointed it was us walking in the door rather than her! Thank you so much, Marion!!”

“Jeannie R is fabulous!! She records what happens with each pet, takes pictures, and notifies me if running late. She’s a delight to work with. Chloe, my labradoodle, loves her.”

“Julia is amazing!! She is quick to respond and takes the most adorable pictures!! I also love the notes she leaves with each drop in. I would HIGHLY recommend her!! My dog absolutely loves her.”

“My experience with Leah was wonderful! She promptly responded to my initial request and we scheduled a Meet and Greet at my home. She showed obvious knowledge of animals and asked pertinent questions about caring for my cats. While I was gone I received daily check-ins through the Rover app with several pictures. It was clear that my cats were comfortable with her, and enjoyed her petting! My kitchen was left very clean. I am very pleased to have found Leah and highly recommend her services.”

“Arian filled in last minute for a Rover sitter who never showed up. She was professional and reassuringly consistent. She communicated everyday and, when she had questions. She also sent pictures that let me know our older, finicky cats were in capable, caring hands. I would hire her again in a hot minute.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I currently have 3 golden doodles, ranging from 65-110lbs and one is handicap. I have had dogs my whole life, I love all animals. I have experience pet sitting cats as well. I have a full time job being a financial analyst, looking for some extra money. I currently work remotely, so I am very flexible with my time. I am able to drop in as needed. On weekends I am fully available for pet sitting as well. I have an electric fence for my dogs. However, one tends to not obey the fence, so he’s let out on a very long line connected to the yard so he can’t roam. I also take him for walks/runs a lot more often than the others. I do walk all 3 of my dogs at a time without any issues.
About: As an experienced pet sitter and cat owner, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. By having my own pet I understand the need for patience, attention to detail, and maintaining routines. I provide compassionate care tailored to each pets needs and personality, treating every animal as if they were part of my own family. Im am currently working part time and at most work three times a week. This allows me to have a lot of availability to care for your animals! I care for pets in clients homes by following their normal routines to help pets feel safe and comfortable. I also give regular updates to owners and make sure the pets get plenty of love when their owners are away.
“Teffni did a wonderful job looking after my fur baby Ollie, daily updates shared happy playtime & loving scratches during her visits. She even indulged him with his balcony time (mid winter in DC) and his secret love of drinking from the bathroom sink ! My apartment was well looked after and pet items kept neat and well stocked for his needs. Thank you so much for loving him in my absence!”

“This is my second time booking with Ruby. As always, she did a fantastic job taking care of my cats while I was out of town. She also took some precautions due to Covid, which I appreciated.”

“Great communicator and totally understands the assignment. I felt very comfortable knowing that Alissa was handling things with my two cats while was away. She's clearly an animal person.”

Wonderful service. Loved the daily reports (Rover cards)! Alex let me know the cats were eating, she scooped all the litters, had some play time with them. Came home to two happy, well-cared for cats. I’m looking forward to scheduling with Alex again if she’s available when I travel.

Wonderful sitter. Bonded instantly with my cat and he already loves her! She sends me so many pictures of him playing and having a great time with her. It gives me peace and comfort to know that when we can't be at home, he's getting loving attention ad playtime! I will continue having Leah, as my sitter. Whenever we go out of town!

Jaemin dropped in on my senior cat for 10 days over the holidays. He and his wife came for a pre-booking visit and were great about asking lots of questions and making sure they had all the relevant info. My cat was skittish and didn’t come out on any of the visits but Jaemin always made sure she had fresh food, water, and litter box. He also brought in my mail and took the trash bins down. Would definitely call him again anytime I need a cat sitter. Highly recommend!

We worked with Lauren this past weekend as she took care of our cat. Lauren was a pleasure to work with. Great communication and responsiveness. She sent photos and texted me before and after her visits with Mia (our cat). More importantly, when we arrived back home I could tell that Mia was happy which lets me know that she had enough attention over the weekend and wasn't lonely!!!

Jeannie was fantastic! She took excellent care of our cat, provided updates on how he was doing and lots of pictures of when they were together. I was a bit leery of using Rover following a terrible experience a friend had, but Jeannie was professional, came when she said she would, and was all around terrific. I would 100% recommend her services to anyone who needs an amazing pet sitter. Denali (and I) give two paws (thumbs) up. Thank you Jeannie ! 😻 😊
