About: About me: After growing up with dogs, I became a dog mom in 2020 (shout out pandemic puppy parents) to a now 6 year old rescue pup from Puerto Rico! I love to be able to give my friends and family peace of mind when traveling, working late, shuffling schedules and more. For boarding requests, I do also have a 3 year old cat- she is indifferent with dogs but we ask that all overnight stays confirm a meet and greet to ensure comfort/safety of all pets prior to boarding. Thank you! Schedule: I’m a teacher who will be home for summer break so as long as my calendar is open on Rover, I am available! Full availability: June 19-August 16th. Experience: I have experience with small to large dogs, special diets, giving medication, post-surgery care, cats, and more. I treat all animals as if they were my own and will go above and beyond to make sure their needs are met. If your dog needs company on a walk, my pup is also extremely docile and has been known to calm nervous dogs or puppies when strolling around the city. About: Growing up I’ve always had animal companions in my family’s house. My family has had generations of dogs raised into senior ages full of health. I currently have my buddy Timmy who’s been with me since I was 9, he’s a 14 year old German Shepard, Corgi mix. I’ve been responsible for his senior care for the last 5 years and have learned so much. I’m excited to be a part of your companions life and look forward to working with you! I am currently a full time student at an online university. My schedule is very flexible, so I am certain I can work with you to find consistent times to meet your pets needs. Michael was fantastic. We had to work through a couple hiccups at the beginning of the week and Michael was super easy going and accommodating. He took Luna for a weeks worth of great walks around the neighborhood while our house was a little short staffed - we will 100% reach out to book him again!
Meg is the best dog walker I’ve ever had. She provides excellent care, truly loves animals, is very professional, and writes very detailed notes. She anticipates my dogs needs and is always prepared to go above and beyond- like putting her cooling vest on, bringing her water bottle, and rewarding good behavior on walks. I am so sad to no longer have Meg as a walker as I am moving, she will be missed!!!
Justin was wonderful! He sent check-in each time he walked and fed our dog Juni, and he clearly enjoyed spending time with her. We were happy to know he’s walked a few of our neighbors’ dogs too, so he was very comfortable with the neighborhood. I will definitely be hiring him again!
