“Stephanie stepped in on short notice and took great care of our dog and cat while we were away? She left helpful notes, sent photos and gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were out of town! I would definitely recommend her and will reach out to her when we travel again.”

“As always, our doggos seem so happy when we get home. Derek and Christina always send up picture updates with each visit, and they’re very communicative. They are very reliable and trustworthy.”

“Victoria and her son communicated in a very timely manner. Photos were sent every visit and if something came up they addressed it with me as well. It was nice to have them as pet sitters and recommend them! Thank you once again!”

“Juliana is an awesome human being who is good with dogs. She dropped in and checked on my dogs this afternoon and kept me updated. My dogs looked very happy in the photos she sent (which tells you something).”

About: I’ve been taking care of my own dogs ever since I was little, and to me, dogs are truly part of the family, they deserve all the love and genuine care in the world! While your dog is with us, they’ll be treated like a member of our family. I’ll make sure to give them the best care possible. I’m currently in grad school, which means I have some weekdays and weekends when I’m home and available. Just send me a quick message, and I’ll let you know right away if I can spend time with your pup :) Whether I’m home or just have a class that day, I love going on walks and will take your dog out at least three times a day, plus a short bedtime walk if they’re staying overnight. On busier days, your dog may need to be on their own for up to 3 hours, but they’ll still be safe and comfortable in my cozy apartment. I believe it’s so important for every dog to feel happy and to see their temporary home as family. I only host one dog at a time, so your pup will get my full attention. My place is warm and pet-friendly, and doggies always feel right at home here! I’m happy to go for walks for potty breaks, feed, and clean up after your doggy. I walk around 10,000 steps a day, so I’m a big fan of walking and enjoying the neighborhood I live in.

About: I grew up with Rottweilers and started helping my dad care for our family dog from a young age, including as he got older. I also have a two-year-old dog of my own, so dogs have always been a big part of my life. Altogether, I have around six years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, and I’m comfortable with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I recently moved from Sweden to Bethesda and currently have a very flexible schedule. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, which gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and giving your dog the attention they need. I’m happy to adapt to your dog’s normal routine, whether that means long walks and lots of exercise, shorter walks, playing with their favorite toys, or just keeping them company and giving them plenty of cuddles. I’ll always follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, routines, and house rules so your dog can feel as comfortable as possible. Most importantly, I genuinely love being around dogs. My wife always jokes that dogs seem to come say hello to me before they greet her. If there’s a dog at a party, that’s usually where you’ll find me! I recently moved to Bethesda from Sweden and have a very flexible schedule as I’m settling into my new life here. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and can easily accommodate walks, drop-ins, and different routines throughout the day. I live in an apartment in Bethesda and have plenty of great areas nearby for both long and short walks. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first. I’m happy to follow your usual routine, feeding instructions, walking preferences, and any house rules you have. I’ll also make sure you receive regular updates so you know your dog is happy and well cared for.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and know how much a good walk means to both a dog and their owner. I’m attentive to pace, leash manners, and body language, and I treat every dog like my own— reliable, on time, and genuinely happy to be there I care for pets around a flexible part-time schedule, so I have plenty of time to give your pet attention. I’m available for on weekends, and on weekdays I’m free most mornings and afternoons for walks, feeding, and playtime Since I’m coming to your home for walks, I always make sure doors and gates are securely closed before heading out, and I keep dogs leashed at all times unless you’ve specifically approved off-leash areas. I take care to check food, water, and any home instructions before and after each walk.”
“Along with having an authentic relationship with Miles, Armanush is an exemplary communicator who works diligently to ensure my pet’s needs are met during her drop-in visits.”

“Jana was absolutely wonderful! She was very responsive and kind with my shy kitty. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a trusted sitter for their felines!”

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and my commitment to providing them with the best care. I am attentive, reliable, and focused on giving your pet the attention they deserve. Whether it's walking, playing, or simply keeping them company. In addition to general pet care, I’m comfortable with senior dogs who need extra patience and care. I understand that each pet has their own personality and needs, and I strive to make sure they feel safe and happy while in my care. I often walk to the park, which give me the opportunity to interact with dogs from other neighbors or friends. I really enjoy these walks, where the dogs can socialize and explore, making me feel comfortable taking care of them in the future. Also, during our outings, I always make sure to be attentive to the needs of the dogs I meet, giving them quality time and exercise. My approach is always in an active environment, full of love and respect, and I’d love to share that with the pets. I live with my two daughters, and we’re always looking for outdoor activities. We love going to the park, where we play, run, and explore together. When I care for a pet, I make sure they enjoy these walks and have a great time. I provide a safe and comfortable space at home, with lots of attention and love, and of course, I enjoy taking them to local parks where they can socialize and burn energy. At home, they feel like part of the family since my daughters are also very affectionate with the dogs. Every day is a new adventure for us, and pets are always welcome to join in on our daily activities

“Victoria unfortunately had to deal with my kitty passing away while I was away. She acted quickly and took him to the vet where he could be held until I returned the next day. I am grateful for her help and resolve to do the right thing.”

“Amanda was amazing with our 7 month golden retriever puppy! I was traveling for work and needed someone to come by twice a day to take our pup out and we were really happy with Amanda. She was very communicative and we appreciated her updates after each visit.”

About: Four years ago I adopted a corgi named Pippin. When I got him, I did not know his history or what environment he was raised in. He came to me incredibly reactive to other dogs, but over time I was able to train him to handle encounters in a safe manner. For the next few years he will be living with my wife while she attends grad school. I would love to care for your dog until my little guy comes back home. I will provide personalized and attentive care to your pup the way I would for my own Pippin. I work an M-F office job that is 10 minutes from my apartment. My evenings and weekends are completely free, but my job still allows me to come home midday to check on your pup if you need any weekday care. My apartment is incredibly pet friendly. My own dog is living with my wife while she attends grad school so I will be able to provide all the care and attention your dog deserves. My apartment is located near a variety of parks and trails, so they will get some wonderful exercise.
“Mya was a fantastic sitter for our 2 energetic puppies. She stopped by at the agreed upon time and fed them as requested. She sent photos and spent time playing with them. I will definitely use her services again!”

About: I previously owned a wonderful dog named Ollie, who taught me just how important love, patience, and routine are when it comes to pet care. Although I no longer have a dog of my own, I miss having them around and would love the opportunity to care for yours. I am readily available to give your dog long walks, playtime, or simply lots of attention and cuddles. I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I'll always treat your pet as if they were my own. I have a fenced yard and have gates that I can put up inside the house up if need be. We usually don’t like dogs going in the basement, mainly because that’s the kids area and there are lots of small items and toys they can get into.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, developing a deep understanding and love for their care. I have experience fostering a pregnant cat and raising her litter of kittens, ensuring their health and happiness from birth until they found their forever homes. I frequently dog walk my siblings' dogs, giving me a lot of hands-on experience with different breeds and personalities. I’m available all days of the week! I take daily walks or hikes so having your loved one join me wouldn’t be an issue! I’m very flexible with timing! I prioritize pet safety by ensuring secure environments, using proper equipment, and staying attentive to their needs. Pets are always supervised, comfortable, well protected and loved!

Anna and I count ourselves lucky to have worked with Abigail. She was amazing taking care of our little Sundae and communicative through out the entire time. We know now we have a phenomenal caretaker and will be using her services going forward. Recommend her highly.

Stephanie stepped in on short notice and took great care of our dog and cat while we were away? She left helpful notes, sent photos and gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were out of town! I would definitely recommend her and will reach out to her when we travel again.

Michaela is a wonderful person. She took exceptional care of my doggy, Peppy! He had a fun day with her! She texted me when she was on her way, arrived on time, and followed all of my detailed directions. I am so proud of how well he did too. Before her first day caring for him, she met me and I discussed everything with her. I could tell she cared. She took initiative on wanting to learn everything about him and asked great questions. We even went for a little walk. Watching her interact with Peppy made me feel very safe and confident. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my baby bear. He is excited to spend time with you again soon 🤎🐾

Sunny enjoyed another wonderful week with Evan. He’s very observant with Sunny’s mood and energy level and adjusts her walk accordingly. He knows how to entice Sunny to get up and move around so she can get her daily steps in. Always very appreciative of his help with my senior dog!

Claire immediately made me feel at ease leaving my anxious dog and temperamental cat! They responded so well to her, and her patience and kindness were palpable. She was so communicative and responsive to my pets’ needs, I hope I get the pleasure of booking her again!

Catherine took wonderful care of my dogs and even my hamster, Henry, during her time with them! She did multiple check-ins throughout, sending regular updates and photos each time, and it was clear the pets adored her. My home was left spotless, and when one of my dogs got unexpectedly sick, she went above and beyond to help clean up without being asked. That level of care and attentiveness really stood out to me. I'll absolutely be booking with her again and recommending her to anyone looking for a sitter they can trust with their pets.

Justin stayed in our home for five days and cared for our two dogs and two cats while we were away. We have a fairly complicated pet situation, including an older dog who can be wary of strangers and requires medication, as well as two cats living on different levels of the house, one of whom also needs medication. We had never left all of our pets for this length of time before, so it was important to find someone we could trust. Justin communicated well throughout our trip, kept us updated, and handled our pets’ routines and medication schedules responsibly. He managed a lot of moving parts and took good care of the animals and our home while we were away. We appreciated his reliability and the peace of mind he provided during our first extended time away from our pets.
Ashley is incredible! She sent lots of updates and photos while she watched my dog Lincoln for a long weekend. She was also very good about communicating a small concern she had about him and I appreciated her taking the time to notice it and reach out to me about it. I would rebook and recommend Ashley time and time again!
Kae is literally the person I was hoping to find on here! He is kind, thoughtful, conscientious, communicative, and flexible. He is amazing with the animals and is careful to ask questions if he doesn’t understand something. You can always tell a true animal lover when you meet one! Kay goes above and beyond. I am so happy to have found him and trust him 100% to take good care of our animal crew when I’m away!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
