About: As I have evolved, I've found connecting and caring for fur babies brings pure joy. I am here to support your journey with your loved pets. I'm a yoga instructor and teach only on Wednesdays. Im available other weekdays and weekends, anytime after 11am usually. Im able to adjust per requests. I would prefer to care for pets in client's home, where they can be most comfortable with all resources readily available. I'm available to take dogs for walks/day sit.
“Mike was great! Very thorough and attentive, sending pictures every day. One of our cats is very shy and the other is very needy, and he was excellent with both!”

About: I'm excited to have your furry friend over and will give them all the TLC they deserve while sticking to their regular schedules. I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.
“Krystian is a really great sitter. Very responsive throughout his care of my pets and sent pictures during his check in’s. My dog and cat were very happy with the attention they received while my boyfriend and I were on vacation. Krystian also made sure to spend time petting and playing with them in addition to walks and feeding time. I would recommend Krystian to anyone, he is a really nice and trust-worthy person.”
“I loved how wonderful you are in taking care of Finn. You took professional pictures and made Finn look like a model. I'm so glad he behaved with you. I would love to have you back if I need you again in the future.”

“Jazzel was awesome! No complaints at all. I needed someone to check on my cats while I was away, and even with very short notice, she was able to fit us in her schedule and took great care of them. She sent multiple photos during every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind, and even my super skittish scaredy cat warmed up to her after a few days. I would 100% recommend her, and she’ll definitely be my first choice the next time I need someone to care for my cats! :)”

About: My name is India and I am a young professional here in Aspen Hill/Silver Spring. I love animals and would love a chance to walk or house your lovely pups! I have been a pet owner of cats and dogs since I was 6 years old. I enjoy all breeds and have tons of experience with a wide variety. I work from home most days of the week and have a lot of flexibility. Please reach out if you have any questions! I work from home Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, with weekends being open. I can stop by during the day when I'm working from home to walk your pup or any other service needed I really try to get the pets to warm up to me first. That is the most important. After that, I tried to treat the pet with respect, give them treats as needed, and make them feel welcome and loved.
“This was my first time using Rover, and Melissa. Rover was good. Melissa was excellent. She did everything asked of her, cleaned up after feeding the dog and cat, and gave extremely thorough documentation of the visit - a detailed write-up plus 26 photos -- all for a 1-hour drop-in.”

“Rebecca did great with our cats! She was so patient and kind with our shy kitty who also needs medicine, and was able to troubleshoot administration when things didn't go exactly to plan. Our girls will be excited to see her again in the future ❤️”

“Hazel has been great help for our busy family and taking care of Max our fur baby. Super punctual and flexible and communicative. Max sure enjoys his walks with her. Thank you Hazel 🙏🏻”

“Nicole always does such a wonderful job caring for our dog. I especially like her comments to us on Rover that truly shows she understands the personality of our stubborn, quirky yet lovable dog. It makes me feel secure knowing Nicole is looking after her while we travel.”
“Marianna was an absolute angel. Not only did she take on my booking super last-minute (seriously, a life saver!!), but she gave my fur babies all the love and attention that they could ask for! My Ariel is a diabetic, and Marianna was able to administer her injections with zero issues, keeping my sweet girl happy and healthy while we were away. 💚 She even managed to befriend my VERY shy boy Rugen, in very little time! Honestly, a magical feat by itself. On behalf of my both kitties and myself, we highly recommend Marianna as a sitter. 10/10 would definitely book with her again! 🐱😻”

About: I've been pet sitting on my own since I was 12 years old. Neighbors, Friends, and Family have relied on me to take care of their beloved furry family members. I have experience providing personalized care for pets of all ages and needs. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, playing, and bathing pets, as well as administering medications safely and on schedule. I'm comfortable caring for senior pets and those with special needs, offering them the patience, gentleness, and attention they deserve. Whether your pet needs extra cuddle time, structured routines, or special accommodations, I’m here to ensure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for in your absence. I am currently working part-time at a PT clinic and am a full time student commuter (September-May) and have a flexible schedule. I am available all 7 days of the week, hours may vary due to my work and school schedule but I will always communicate that ahead of time! I am overall very flexible. I have a fully fenced in backyard, and 2 cats of my own. They can be kept in a separate area if need be, they are very friendly. When with a client's pet, I don't like to keep them unsupervised as I know their behavior can be affected with an owners absence and they can feel lonely. I ensure that quality time is always spent with a client's pet multiple times a day so they may feel at comfort and ease.
“This was my first time using Rover and Rachel was great. Scheduled a drop in visit at our place and did a meet and greet a couple days before so Pebbles would know who she was when she dropped by. She answered any questions we had and Pebbles took to her quickly. Arrived on time and sent us pictures during the visit.”

“Was great with my dog. I did have to express the importance of staying out for the entire duration of the appointment, instead of just waiting for a poop and then coming back in.”

Chedda was amazing with my dogs! She was reliable, followed all of my instructions, kept them entertained, and went above and beyond during her visits. My dogs took to her right away, and I felt completely comfortable knowing they were safe and well cared for while I was away. I would absolutely book with her again!

Neesa is very reliable when it comes to dropping in and checking on our dog, Moose! He always has a good time when she comes by to take care of him. We’re grateful for her help and recommend Neesa to anyone who needs a petsitter you can trust and who communicates promptly.

As always Angela has been an amazing sitter to my little Rosie. I go on a lot of work trips and this time I extended with some person vacation. I never had to worry about Rosie because I knew she was in good hands. Angela is excellent with communicating and providing updates. Thank you Angela you really are the best! ❤️

Teffni does such a great job with her drop in visits. I can tell by all the photos she takes that our pups feel very comfortable with her and I have peace of mind that a trusted person is taking care of them and giving them a break while we're away at work for the day. Thank you so much, Teffni!

Kelly dropped in to check on our two large senior dogs and did a great job. She was responsive, careful to follow the instructions, and beforehand asked good questions to get to know their routines and needs. The dogs seemed to take to her very quickly too. Thank you!

Emily has been an absolute blessing to our family! She comes a couple of times each week to walk and watch our puppy while we’re at work. She is incredibly patient with our energetic pup, has a very flexible schedule, and is always extremely reliable. We have complete peace of mind knowing our puppy is in her care, and we’re so grateful for the extra help she provides on the days we need it most.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
