About: My family had a golden retriever when I was younger and I have been an animal lover ever since! I have experience with walking dogs and daily check ins as well as overnight stays. I am a big believer in knowing your animals will be left in a loving and engaging environment. I do have experience in administering medications as well, and have worked with a range of puppies to older dogs. Most of my professional experience is with dogs, chickens, and bunnies but I do have a special place in my heart for other animals and especially cats since I have one of my own :) I love to play with any dog I meet so getting to share some love with yours would be the highlight of my day!

About: When it comes to dogs, I have all the patience and love in the world. I'm responsible, playful, and a beacon of positive energy. I've dog sat and walked for friends and neighbors in DC. Our dog Naya (mini Aussie) also loves having a nap buddy. I live in an apartment complex that is pet friendly, open green lawn around the compound and 15min drive from Dewey Dog Park. I have flexible hours. I would be happy to accommodate morning and evening walks when needed. Special Skills: I have been told I give amazing belly rubs. I can sing when they're homesick or feeling down. I am currently on leave from regular 9-5 job. I have flexibility while attending to our own dog (Naya) and personal projects. My partner and I take Naya out 3x a day and try to set up doggy play dates when we can. We doggy proof our apt based on the dog we host as best as possible. We have a small balcony which gives them a great view of nature. We also have an outdoor dog run (fenced) within the building and plenty of friendly dogs that they would get to interact with if they want otherwise there’s plenty of options to go to the nearby rock creek park for personal space too.

About: I have over two years of experience caring for dogs, from young puppies to senior dogs that need extra attention and gentle care. I truly believe pets are family and deserve to be treated with love, patience, and respect. I’m a very active person, so I enjoy long walks with energetic dogs and giving them plenty of playtime and attention. I’m also comfortable caring for pets that require medication, including administering pills or liquid medication with a syringe, always making sure they feel calm and safe. My goal is to make every pet feel loved, comfortable, and cared for—just like a member of the family. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel relaxed knowing your pet is happy and safe. I’m happy to schedule a meet & greet before the booking to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I’m currently in college on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 AM to 5 PM, and on Wednesday afternoons from 1 PM to 5 PM. Outside of those hours, including Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends, I have full flexibility, so I can easily fit in dog walks, drop-in visits, day care, or overnight stays. This allows me to give pets consistent attention, love, and care. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at the owner’s home, I spend most of my time with them so they don’t feel lonely and can relax comfortably. In my home, I provide a cozy space for them to sleep and feel at ease, and I use cameras to check on them whenever I need to go out for errands. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and calm environment where each pet feels cared for and part of the family.

About: I have been an active pet caretaker for over 25 years. I have worked with dogs young and old (currently have 2 senior dogs) and sizes from small to large (12-80 lbs). I enjoy getting to meet and befriend dogs of all kinds. I make my own schedule, so visiting your dog(s) is a flexible option. Looking forward to helping pet parents know their pup is safe and happy. My main thought is to dog safety. A safe dog is a happy one. We'll enjoy walks and visits that meet your dog's energy levels and specific needs. About: I have had many dogs over the years, all adopted. Have fostered dogs too. Your pet will have access to several dog beds. My cairn and I would love to watch your dog with you are away. I am recently retired so am home most of the time. So your pet will get care and attention all day long that includes one daily walk. Additional walks available for a fee. I have a stockade fenced in back yard. I go outside several times during the day to hang on my deck and let my dog explore and play.

“Mary went above and beyond for caring for my three cats. I had booked four visits for my cats. Unfortunately, there was a serious issue in my apartment building during that time. Residents and their pets needed to be evacuated. Mary ended up having to bring my cats to a boarding facility. She put them all in their crates, walked up and down eight flights of stairs in my building, put them in her car, drove them, and then admitted them to the chosen boarding facility. Through it all, Mary maintained constant communication and care regarding the well being of my cats. I would highly recommend Mary as a petsitter for your pets!! About: I grew up in a house with two cats, a dog, and even a few pet rats. Currently I have two indoor cats and a variety of wildlife that my roommates tell me I am allowed to feed but not allowed to bring inside. I have a little bit of experience with caring for reptiles, birds, and one hedgehog in addition to the more traditional pets. I find that I am particularly popular with large, energetic dogs who enjoy playing with someone "their own size" and anxious critters who need lots of reassurance. I recently completed graduate school and currently have lots of time to provide love, exercise, medication, and whatever else your furry friend may need while you are away. As an in-home sitter I always make sure to get complete instructions on where pets can or cannot go in the house/yard, approved treats, and any medication schedules along with vet information in case of emergencies.

I recently lost my own senior pup, and I truly miss the companionship and joy that dogs bring. I can’t wait to meet them! I currently work on a hybrid schedule, so I’m in the office 1 to 2 days per week Monday through Friday. It really depends on the week and what’s needed. I’m a great communicator so we can decide which days might work best! I live a very active lifestyle and before my dog passed away recently, I would take her on 3 to 4 walks per day. There’s a park near my home and we also used to play catch and lay out in the sun.

About: I love dogs. All sizes but I have a soft spot for small dogs. I'm the type that like to do long walks and go to doggie parks. Im currently working full time but I know some people work late nights and their puppies need some loving and affection while they are gone. Im that person to give it. Im free from 5:30 to 9pm. Monday through Friday and 10am to 10pm Saturday and Sunday I know how hard it is to trust someone with your baby (I see all pets as babies) so I take this responsibility very serious. I want you to know how caring and responsible and understanding of the importance of taking care of your puppy. I have some puppy toys and a crate for certain times of the day. Doggy parks are a must as well. Plus im very energetic and love playing
