“We love Roseline and Zeus! Our dog was in such good company with Roseline’s own pup, and was so spoiled by Roseline! We got photo and video updates every day, and appreciated Roseline’s patience with our dog’s quirks and energy.”

“Liya & her family provide exceptional service to my dog. Very attentive, caring and always goes above and beyond. She has been flexible with time, changed plans etc. As someone who is very particular, I feel at peace leaving Chloe in her care. Highly recommended!”

“My dog has appeared to enjoy being with Jiao, and I got a picture or video of my dog everyday. Jiao was timely with her communication and flexible with drop off/ pick up. I would use Jiao to dog-sit again.”

“Tatiana was absolutely wonderful with our pup, Sasha. She kept us well-informed of all the fun they were having, and by the pictures and messages, it was a lot! Being the holidays and away from home, we were so glad to know Sasha was in the best of hands. Tatiana is truly a dog lover, through and through and we will not hesitate to reach out to her in the future.”

“We have used Josh and Andres for day-sitting and boarding of our dog Comet several times and they have been very good. They are extremely responsive and accommodating and take really good care of Comet.”

“Maria and her husband were great with my pup while I was away! She was very attentive and asked lots of questions to make sure that she understood all of Noki’s needs and could keep him happy and comfortable during his stay. She was also flexible in working with me on the best times for drop off. Maria is very responsive and sent lots of pictures and videos as well so that I could see he was doing well. I would be happy to have Noki stay with Maria again in the future!”

“Maria is fantastic! I guarantee we will be bringing Maximus to stay with her again. Maximus is our baby, he loves to play, eat and stay close to his humans! So much so that Maria let him sleep in her room as well because he kept crying. She sent photos everyday and administered his allergy medication (She provided the peanut butter which I totally forgot)! We will he using her, I totally recommend her to watch your dog children too!”

“Shasta took great care of our puppy while we were away. She and her daughter are very sweet, their home was very clean, and they spent a lot of time outside with our pup, which is his favorite place to be! Shasta sent daily updates and pictures which showed our dog was happy as could be.”

About: I grew up around many animals. I’ve had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and ducks during my lifetime. I don’t train puppies, but will care for them. I can care for senior dogs. I can orally administer medications, but have never injected medication, but will if shown how. I am available 24 hours per day, and also on all holidays. I am around pretty much all the time. Your pet will be supervised at all times. I have 3 years of dog sitting experience in my own household, I make sure everyone is properly separated when eating to prevent empty stomachs or incidents, I promote 100% safe play and socializing. I have a dog crates, and can keep dogs separate if need be.
“Ming and the CARE team are fabulous! They took great care of my nervous dogs, and sent lots of beautiful pictures. They were quick to respond to my inquiries, both prior to the visit and once my dogs were there. They clearly love all the dogs, and provide a great alternative to home when dogs need to be boarded. I traveled several hours to use them, and will continue to do so because of the high quality care. THANK YOU!”

“Fiorela did a wonderful job with my two cats! They were well cared for and loved during the entire stay. I got lots of updates and photos so I missed them a bit less.”

“Samantha and her family did a wonderful job taking care of our pup. He came home calm and rested after his first long stay away from home. I could tell he had a great time with them.”

About: I have had many dogs since I was a kid. My whole family have them as family members. I adopted Colby, a mini poodle, 13 years ago and he recently passed on Mar 7, 2026 due to oral cancer one month before he turned 14 yr-old. I will board ONE NON-SHEDDING dog at a time so I can spend quality time with that dog ☺️ I would love help dog owners to walk, play, and love their dogs while they cannot and get some dog love for myself. I miss my dog tremendously so I am not ready to have another. Let me take care and play with your dogs and make them happy ☺️ I work full-time remotely. I can customize my schedule to fit your needs as long as I am given a notice to adjust (I set my work schedule a week in advanced every monday). I love taking a long walk when the weather permit. 😁 Whatever your dog accustomed to, I can adjust. I live in a one bedroom condo right now. I will provide a safe and loving environment for your dog.
“Andrea is the perfect sitter! I appreciated her flexibility with drop off and pick up times and her very calm, personable and welcoming demeanor. Sarge loved being at her house and was already exploring the house by the time I left. Andrea made sure he had all the comforts of home and even got him to sleep in a dog bed that she provided. When I picked him up, he was very content and in no hurry to go home. I have already booked another stay, as I know Sarge will be in good care with Andrea.”

“Sophia was wonderful! Our two little spoiled dogs were treated like family. We have already told our little dog loving neighbors and friends! We have finally found a "home" to leave our dogs when we travel. Thanks Sophia.”

Brittany was so amazing and was able to help us out of a pinch by agreeing to watch Oakley last minute. Oakley had such a fun time with Brittany and Athena! He was relaxed the entire time and did not want to leave when I picked him up the next day! We will definitely have Brittany watch Oakley again in the future should the opportunity arise.
Melissa was very kind, friendly, and quick to respond throughout my dog’s stay. She sent lots of pictures and updates, which I really appreciated and helped me feel connected while I was away. Communication was easy, and it was clear she wanted me to know how my puppy was doing. Thank you for taking care of Kuma!

This is my second time using Eva and she was great as usual. Simone (my fur baby) loves going there and she loves her backyard. Eva kept me updated even as Simone experienced an upset tummy one of the days of her stay. She took great care of her and I appreciated that very much. Will definitely keep booking with Eva.

Adva & Steven were fantastic! They sent many pictures and updates while I was away. My dog is afraid of thunderstorms but they made sure he was comforted during the storm. Also, they were flexible with pick up time when my flight was delayed. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, welcoming dog sitters.

As always, our pooch had a great time. We got lots of photo updates of all the fun he was having and Timothy made sure to keep an eye on the air quality and limit outdoor time when it was dangerous for sensitive lungs. We never worry when we go away and leave our dog with Timothy.

We had such a wonderful experience with Oyin Damola! From our very first communication, she was incredibly responsive, professional, and kind. She took the time to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, and she was so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating that I immediately felt comfortable leaving our dog in her care. Our dog had an amazing stay and was clearly well cared for and loved. Oyin was attentive, caring, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dog was in such good hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely continue using Oyin in the future. She was absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter!

Thank you for the wonderful care that you provided to my pup! I truly appreciate you reviewing the important information shared, regular pictures, updates, and lots of attention, pets, and even a music lesson. You quickly noticed he likes belly rubs and to look out of the window. He came back tired so I could tell he had a stimulating adventure with you all and Odin. I also appreciate that you all are familiar with this breed and the zoomies they sometimes have. Thanks again!
We have finally found our perfect sitter! Kelly is outstanding. She is super communicative, professional and she will take SUCH good care of your babies they won't want to come home!! We are very picky pet parents, we make all sorts of special requests for our two doggy divas, and we've tried 4 or 5 different sitters with no real satisfaction. Kelly is the best we've tried and we would recommend her to anyone. She is kind, she will love your dogs like they are her own, and you will be so pleased you chose her.

Masha and her family took great care of Nala. This was our second time booking with them, and the care provided was outstanding again. Masha made sure Nala took her medication every morning (which was new this year) and kept us updated during her stay. Thank you!!

Dana and Patrick were wonderful with Ollie once again. It’s been a great experience to travel knowing he’s in good hands and the updates make me feel reassured that he’s also having a good time while we are away. We will definitely book with them again in the future when we need care for our dog.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
