“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kristy! This was the first time I had ever left Kofi for an extended period of time. From the moment I met her, I could tell how genuinely caring, patient, and experienced she is with dogs. Her husband was also wonderful and clearly helped make Kofi feel comfortable and loved during his stay. While we were out of the country, she and her husband went above and beyond in every possible way. She sent incredibly thorough updates throughout the day with photos, videos, and detailed messages that truly gave me peace of mind. I didn’t have to wonder how he was doing because she kept me so informed and reassured the entire time. What meant the most to me was how patient and understanding she was with him. Kofi is very attached to me and takes time to adjust, but she treated him with so much kindness, gentleness, and love. She truly cares about the emotional well-being of the dogs she watches, not just the basic care. Because of this, I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing he was safe, happy, and in such capable hands. Maria and Fernando really care about your pet. Our two dogs very much enjoy their place. They have an enclosed outdoor space which is a big doggie playground. We get lots of photos and communication. They understand each dog's unique personality and cater to them. I highly recommend this setting!
Many thanks to Andrea who opened her home and her heart to our 12 year old Maggie, and even dealt well with her fear of thunderstorms. When I came to pick Maggie up, my dog walked over to Andrea and stood in front of her washer tail as if to say “ thank you, I love you!” I had not seen her do that except with our grown kids. Andrea definitely made Maggie very happy in their 4 days together.
Lauren and her "assistant Zoe" (her own dog) looked after Bella very well. The dogs had supervised playtime in the enclosed park, rather like a village green, and had ample time to chill and hang out together. Bella was very happy to stay with Lauren, and the whole experience was positive. Lauren is a very competent and caring boarder. I heartily recommend her!
I couldn’t decide between 3 stars and 4 so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Alexia seemed to do a good job with the dogs. We actually thought she would be our forever sitter being that she was close by. However, communication was difficult with Alexia. During the time the dogs was with her it took a very long time for her to get back to me on check ups. She eventually did and everything was fine but the worry it caused while I waited was concerning. My babies came back in one piece and seemed happy so I was happy. After the stay was over Alexia reached out to me with a concern. I reached back out to her multiple times but assumed at this point she was just ignoring me. I tried calling and texting with no response. I can’t address a concern if there’s no communication.
