Pet care experience
Bilingual Petsitter and Dog Walker
Having been a pet owner most of my life, I have had extensive experience with traditional and non-tradional pets. I've retired in Kensington, Maryland and I am the grandma to a rescued bully mix who is the sweetest but laziest girl. She lives with me part-time, but my children take her for the other half and on day trips. *She will not be present for any boarding or day-care requests. She’s getting older and likes to spend her time in a quiet space, napping and being loved on or watching me garden. Previously, my children have grown up with parakeets, chickens, roosters, rabbits, turtles, gerbils, hamsters and fish. We would watch and care for our neighbors dogs and cats while they were out of town, but one of my daughters was allergic to dogs, so we only fully had one when she was an adult. I would enjoy walking companions and animals to look after again. Please keep me in mind, should you need help.

Thank you so much for walking Rex! He’s an active guy and I’m at work all day. He’s going back to his dad this weekend but you made our time of dog sitting him so much better ❤️
Luna really enjoyed her walks with Felisa who always arrived a few minutes early

Felisa is responsive and very good with my bossy dachshunds.

Thanks so much!

We couldn't be happier with Felisa! This was Sassy's first stay with her, and she was comfortable from the moment they met — which says everything about Felisa's calm, welcoming energy with dogs. Felisa sent pictures every day, so we always knew Sassy was happy and well cared for. Seeing her on shady walks surrounded by green space was such a relief. Sassy looked relaxed and at home the entire time. We'll absolutely be booking with Felisa again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive sitter
Felisa is great with communication and my dog just loves getting her afternoon walks with her! I love getting the pictures every day

Schedule
I am retired. So, I have the availability to care for any animal and love going on walks, so pet-care and cardio would work perfectly!
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I will follow by the rules of the house and needs of your pets. In my home, dogs are allowed on furniture and sleep on the bed (when colder) but if you’re not in favor, we can stick to your normal routine. I am an early riser and light sleeper in case there needs to be frequent bathroom breaks for your pets, that’s not an issue!
Pets
A typical day
I enjoy walking with dogs, in their neighborhood, around area parks or taking them on “field trips” to other park spaces, if there's one you have a preference for me to visit.
- 0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsDogs over 1 year oldSpayed and neutered dogs onlyNo females in heatCrate-trained dogs onlyFelisa can host up to 1 pet per night
- My dog weighs about 48 pounds, but does not pull me much when walking, I know I've stated a preference for smaller to mid-size dogs, but if behavior and temperment are good, size is not an issue. I would just like to know temperment and excitability of the pets. Do they get along with other dogs or should we avoid others while walking? Do they have a high prey drive to squirrels, cats or other animals? Are they dramatic when it's time to "go home"? Are there any medical or behavioral needs concerns that I should keep an eye on?
