Can’t wait to meet your pups!
I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 9 years old, from 2 month old puppies to senior dogs, and taking care of them has been the best part of my day! I like to focus on mental stimulation as well as physical with dogs so they have a sound mind and body. I’m familiar with crate training, and puppy care, including a solid understanding of training the basics. I’m used to energetic and fast-paced dogs but I love my older and more mellow dogs as well! I’ve pet sat my fair share of cats and feel comfortable with them too. My Australian shepherd and I just moved out to Lexington recently, but I’m excited to offer my services now including recurring dog walking :) let me know if you have any questions for me!

Safety, trust & environment
If there is a yard, that will be utilized to the fullest, but I will take full advantage of what the neighborhood has to offer for fun walks/providing sufficient daily stimulation for the dog. I’m always respectful of the home and the routine the dog had prior to their person being gone. I’m super communicative, especially if things happen that are out of the ordinary, but also when things are normal so you’ll won’t have to wonder too much how your baby is doing!

Gila has taken care of cats for two or three families who went on vacation, and she is a regular dog walker for another family. She also lives with an Australian shepard and, until recently, a golden retriver (who passed at age 13). She is a good dog trainer. She knows a lot about dogs. She has always been responible showing up on time to care for animals of others. She would do an excellent job taking care of anyone's pets.

Schedule
I am a flight student so that is my biggest time commitment which is 4 hours 3-4x a week. I know my schedule far out and can adjust my other responsibilities such as coursework and caring for my own dog and any other that may be in my care. I am never gone for too long and making sure the dogs are doing well is a priority that’s extremely important to me.
