About: I own two cats and regularly take care of my dad‘s dog teddy when he is at work And I take great joy in doing so. I recently graduated from high school and I’m currently between jobs and college so I am available most of the day this may change in the coming months I will make sure anything required for your pet for walks or check-in will be met so they are happy and healthy. My number one priority is to make sure both the client and the pet has everything they need.
“We had a great experience with Nezuko’s sitter and highly recommend them! They were reliable, attentive, and very caring throughout the visit. Nezuko was well taken care of, happy, and comfortable, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. Communication was excellent, and the updates and photos were really appreciated. It’s clear they genuinely care about the pets they look after.”

“I am so glad we picked Scott to check in on our cats while we were away on vacation! The “report cards” were great and filled with lots of photos and videos! Scott is professional and clearly cares a lot about animals. 10/10 will book again!”

“Marion is absolutely wonderful. She is always quick to respond, takes amazing care of my Luna Tuna, and clearly has a genuine love for what she does. As a bonus, she even loves plants. I could not recommend her more.”

About: Dogs are just wonderful. I just don’t have the right words to explain how special they are and how much I love them. I and my family have owned several dogs in the past and I have taken care of others’s dogs. Due to the immense joy dogs have always brought me I still want them in my life. I have a very open, flexible, schedule, as I am a substitute teacher. I would not be working a full day when and/or if I do work, and I am a five minute drive from work. It can fit very easily into routine. I live in a condo building with much open space to walk my dog. There are many dogs in my bldg. I live in a big two bedroom apartment.
“Thank you Rebecca for another great sit with Winnie! Winnie is very finicky with her food and Rebecca made sure to spend extra time helping Winnie eat and let us know what her eating patterns were.”

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid, and as soon as I was able to, started walking dogs in my neighborhood in middle school. My family ended up owning 4 dogs at one point and I’ve been one of their primary caregivers for the past 10 years! Between jobs at the moment, so I’m available any night for dog-sitting. I’m also able to pop in to walk dogs throughout the day, as my days are mostly free. I can prepare food, get fresh water, give medications, brush teeth if needed. Happy to follow any particular instructions needed for your pet to keep them happy, calm, and healthy!
“Shakuntala is such a joy to work with! Our puppy Ares adores her and looks forward to their time together each day! She is informative, kind, and loving to Ares. She takes the best photos too which is so great to see when we are away at work :) I would HIGHLY recommend her to take care of anyone’s pets as she picks up on their routines so quickly and makes sure that both the owners and pet are happy at all times! We are so thankful to have met Shakuntala and can’t wait to see all the great times and memories she will be making with Ares.”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in middle school for neighbors, families I nannied for, and friends. I have experience with kittens as well as senior dogs and everything in between. I currently work full-time, but have a very flexible in person versus remote schedule most weeks. I am able to decide which day I am where. I provide pets with the daily routines that they are accustomed to to make your time away from home as easy as possible for them.

About: I have spent my entire life caring for and loving animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, and other small pets. As both a pet owner and caregiver, I have experience with feeding, exercise, grooming, administering basic care, and training dogs. Animals have always been a true passion of mine, and I understand how important it is to provide them with patience, attention, safety, and affection. Now that I have more available time, I look forward to helping pet owners feel confident their beloved companions are receiving the same loving care I would give my own. I’m currently retired and do some volunteer work, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available during the week and some weekends. I live in an area surrounded by open green space and walking trails. It’s a safe area for pets to walk around and enjoy.
About: When it comes to dogs, I have all the patience and love in the world. I'm responsible, playful, and a beacon of positive energy. I've dog sat and walked for friends and neighbors in DC. Our dog Naya (mini Aussie) also loves having a nap buddy. I live in an apartment building that is pet friendly, fenced dog run, conveniently located in within 5min from Rock Creek Park. I have flexible hours. I would be happy to accommodate morning and evening walks when needed. Special Skills: I have been told I give amazing belly rubs. I can sing when they're homesick or feeling down. I am currently on leave from regular 9-5 job. I have flexibility while attending to our own dog (Naya) and personal projects. My partner and I take Naya out 3x a day and try to set up doggy play dates when we can. We doggy proof our apt based on the dog we host as best as possible. We have a small balcony which gives them a great view of nature. We also have an outdoor dog run (fenced) within the building and plenty of friendly dogs that they would get to interact with if they want otherwise there’s plenty of options to go to the nearby rock creek park for personal space too.

Absolutely wonderful dog walker! They are reliable, caring, and clearly have a genuine love for dogs. What really stands out is their thoughtful communication—they always keep me updated, share helpful details about each walk, and make sure I know how my pup is doing. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my dog is in such attentive and trustworthy hands. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Anna and I count ourselves lucky to have worked with Abigail. She was amazing taking care of our little Sundae and communicative through out the entire time. We know now we have a phenomenal caretaker and will be using her services going forward. Recommend her highly.

Natalie is a wonderful and I’d highly recommend her for anyone with a puppy. She’s great with our 3 month old terrier mix. I’m pretty sure our puppy is more excited to see Natalie walk in than she is to see her own family members come home! Natalie’s also easy to communicate and schedule with and is very reliable. Five stars!

Ilana was fantastic.Ilana took excellent care of my dog Duke while I was out of town for three days. She was reliable, professional, and clearly cared about Duke’s well-being. She handled feeding and walking him twice a day, and giving his daily medication without any issues. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend Ilana to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
