About: Hi! I'm a responsible and reliable dog lover who has experience caring for my own (very) senior dog, as well as the dogs of many friends, family members, and neighbors over the years. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities! As the owner of a senior dog, I understand firsthand the patience and specialized care that all pets need and deserve. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and well taken care of! Looking forward to meeting you! I'm spending late June into July back in New York City and currently have a very flexible schedule, which means I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the day and week. After several months of solo travel, I'm am excited to slow down and spend some time with animals! Because of my flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate last-minute requests, recurring walks, and families who may need flexibility. spending time with animals and helping local pet owners with reliable, attentive care. About: I have had such a love for dogs ever since I can remember!! My family grew up with Labrador Retrievers - our two dogs were polar opposite: one was absolutely wild, while the other was super calm and sweet, so I've dealt with a range of different behaviors! Over the years, family friends and neighbors have asked me to dog sit their dogs, with ages ranging from puppies to senior dogs. My schedule is very flexible, as I am home most of the time! I have plenty of flexibility and availability for walks, drop-ins and pet sitting! Whether you need care for the mornings, afternoons, or evenings, I should be free to help :) I care for every pet as if they were my own! I know how important routines are to our dogs, so I like to keep their normal routine as closely as possible to ensure ease, which includes meal times, walks, and play time! I will of course follow any specific instructions or preferences you have for your pet as well. In our spaces, I am respectful and focus on making sure your pet feels comfortable, happy, and cared for. About: Hi, I’m Elysia! Nice to meet you! I’m new to Rover, but not to taking care of pets! I’m a recent college biology graduate preparing for medical school and I’ve been taking care of my neighbor’s pets since I was in middle school. I have years of experience taking care of both dogs and cats (young & old & many different breeds) for multiple days, including overnight sitting and of course, drop-ins and going on walks! I would love to be your next sitter and your pet’s new friend!! I’m currently in an accelerated graduate program, so my weekday schedule can be busy. I’m generally available for early-morning walks and overnight stays, with more flexibility on weekends! I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe and loved while you are away! I will treat them like family, follow their usual routine, respect your home, and send regular updates and photos so you can feel completely at ease!

About: My passion is making sure pets are cared for to the utmost quality. My pet sitting journey started by walking my neighbors dogs when I was just 12 years old and continued dog walking/pet sitting for family members/friends/clients until graduating college. My pet sitting has grown over the years and I definitely have grown more in love with it. I have a lot of cat sitting experience as well and have always cared for my grandma’s cats when she needs the extra help. I’m currently only pet sitting part-time. I am available after 5pm Monday to Thursday and after 12pm on Fridays. I’m available all weekends. This can be variable as I will also have days off from work which will allow me to have more availability. I live in a spacious 700 sq ft studio by myself. I also don’t have any pets that live with me. I live in a very dog friendly community with a dog park and large fields of grass perfect for off-leash time. I do also have large windows perfect for bird watching for my meow-er companions :)

About: Four years ago I adopted a corgi named Pippin. When I got him, I did not know his history or what environment he was raised in. He came to me incredibly reactive to other dogs, but over time I was able to train him to handle encounters in a safe manner. For the next few years he will be living with my wife while she attends grad school. I would love to care for your dog until my little guy comes back home. I will provide personalized and attentive care to your pup the way I would for my own Pippin. I work an M-F office job that is 10 minutes from my apartment. My evenings and weekends are completely free, but my job still allows me to come home midday to check on your pup if you need any weekday care. My apartment is incredibly pet friendly. My own dog is living with my wife while she attends grad school so I will be able to provide all the care and attention your dog deserves. My apartment is located near a variety of parks and trails, so they will get some wonderful exercise.

Edgar also went so far above and beyond the call of duty, doing things like letting us know of a questionable package left near our second car in our complex parking lot, staying extra long to give our cat a good brushing, and even taking out our recycling for us on the last day, just to name a few. About: Hello there! I'm Jenn, and I've been caring for dogs since about 2012. Many of my early experiences came from families my mom worked for while nannying and managing their households. While she kept everything running smoothly inside the home, I naturally gravitated toward spending time with the dogs. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of caring for many wonderful pups: • Koni (German Shepherd) – A loyal and gentle boy I cared for from adulthood through his senior years. Caring for him taught me patience and attentiveness when supporting older dogs. • Romeo (Golden Retriever) & Henry (Shih Tzu) – Two sweet pups from the same household who I helped care for from puppyhood. Looking after them taught me how to balance the needs of dogs with very different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. • Lacie (Medium-sized mixed breed) – A young adult dog who was the best of both worlds: very active and playful outside, but also a needy lap dog at home. She taught me how to balance exercise with affection and downtime. • Three German Shepherd–Black Lab mix puppies (3 weeks old) – Tiny foster puppies that required the same level of attention as a human baby. Caring for them gave me hands-on experience with very young dogs and early development. • Casper (English Golden Retriever) – The gentlest and sweetest boy, and definitely one of my favorites. He’s very affectionate and loves companionship, which reinforced how important routine, attention, and emotional comfort are for dogs. I’m experienced and happy to care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I look forward to getting to know your furry friend and becoming their next buddy! I work in Bethesda, MD Monday through Friday, but I can take my break during the day to visit, feed, and walk your dog :) Depending on their temperament, there’s also the possibility of bringing your dog to my office! • Cozy office space: Bed, food, water, treats, and toys available • Safe travel: Fully equipped to transport dogs safely in my car • Nearby park: Perfect for extra walks and playtime during the day I’ll care for your dog through the evening, giving attention, cuddles, and play sessions after work :) On weekends, I dedicate my time to longer walks, games, and extra TLC. Even during the workweek, though, I take frequent breaks to give pets love, attention, and companionship so they feel happy, safe, and cared for. Your dog’s safety and well-being — both physical and mental — are my top priorities. Before I begin care, I like to meet you and your dog in person and do a walkthrough. Depending on the type of care, this may include: • Their temperament and typical routine • A walkthrough of your home • Food and medication schedules • Locations of necessary supplies • Your veterinarian’s contact information • Any other details specific to your dog’s needs I’ll also ask about your dog’s favorite ways to stay active, play, and feel comfortable. Every dog is unique, and understanding these details helps me provide care that keeps them happy, healthy, and mentally stimulated.
