About: Growing up, caring for animals wasn’t just a hobby—it was a responsibility I took on from a young age. Since I was 10 years old, I’ve been helping stray animals by providing food, basic care, and safe spaces whenever possible. That early experience shaped my deep understanding of animal behavior, especially with shy, anxious, or previously neglected pets. In addition to hands-on experience with strays, I’ve volunteered at pet rescue organizations where I assisted with feeding, cleaning, socializing animals, and preparing them for adoption. This has given me experience with pets of all temperaments, including those who need extra patience and attention. Pet sitting has become a steady and meaningful part of my daily routine while I am unemployed. It gives structure to my day, keeps me active, and provides a sense of responsibility. Caring for animals, managing feeding schedules, and ensuring their comfort helps me stay productive while also earning some income and maintaining a positive mindset during this transitional period. --- I do not have pets of my own, but I provide attentive and reliable care for pets in both my home and my clients’ homes, depending on the service requested. In a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, while also ensuring the home remains clean and secure. If caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, comfortable environment with regular supervision, exercise, and consistent routines to help pets feel at ease. My focus is always on maintaining the pet’s normal schedule and providing a calm, caring experience.

About: Ever since I could remember, I've been around animals throughout my life. Growing up, I was able to have dogs, cats, fish, birds, and even hamsters around to call my family. Animal Planet was one of my favorite channels, Martha Speaks was one of my favorite PBS Kids shows, and I thought I'd be a veterinarian as an adult! I believe my love for animals comes from my mom and her love of dogs, as she always had a love for Yorkshire Terriers when I was younger. Although I am not a dog parent at the moment (I hope to be soon!), I treat my mom's three standard-bred poodles as my own whenever she's on vacation or needs some time away. I also took care of 2 litters of 10 puppies in the last 2 years, preparing food, cleaning and sanitizing their designated areas, all while they were just a few weeks old. Ultimately, I'd love to get into dog training for puppies as well. With a lifetime of love for animals , and a few years as a professional sitter under my belt, I can assure any pet parent that your fur child will always be loved and cared for as if they were my own family. I'm looking forward to meeting your babies! I'm usually up pretty early and pretty late as I work as a freelance photographer and videographer during the day alongside my part-time day job in food service. I am able to be of service before 8:30am on the weekdays for walks and check-ins, and after 4pm for any help you may need. I'm very efficient with staying on top of routines, schedules, and anything that your fur baby will need. Keeping an eye on them is in my nature as well, as I can never go too long without checking on them to make sure everything is good, even during downtime from playing, eating and walking.

About: I’ve always lived with pets in my home and love spending time with them. Previously, I’ve helped watch my sister-in-law’s senior cat and have lots of patience with all animals. I’m currently between jobs so I’m very available to spend as much time as needed with your pets! I also love going on walks frequently throughout the day. Currently, I only live with a cat and she is quite independent. I’ve watched a few of my friend’s dogs and am able to stick to a routine for food and walks. I’m naturally a very detail-oriented person.

About: I helped raise 3 dogs from puppyhood and cared for one senior dog and cat. The senior dog had major health problems, so I'm more than comfortable caring for pets with specific needs and health difficulties. I'm currently involved in volunteer work, and my schedule is highly flexible, allowing me to be available for the summer. Scheduling will be tailored around you and your pet's unique needs. As a pre-law student, I highly value and respect trust, safety, and boundaries. I promise to respect you, your home, and of course, your pet.

About: I have had dogs my whole life, from taking in puppies to rescues, and there is nothing more important to me then providing them love. I am currently working part time, but can happily work my way around taking care of your dog. Mornings work best and afternoon on weekends. I will constantly take them on walks to get them some fresh air. Check up on their food and water. Provide any other services requested.

Although I am not a certified trainer, I continue to use online classes and resources to increase my understanding of the latest training and enrichment practices for pets. I fully believe that keeping a pet at home reduces stress and keeps then happier while you are away. I will likewise communicate with you on your preferred schedule to ensure you know your pretty is happy and well cared for while you are away. I am retired, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can stop in for walks or do a full house sit, as needed. As long as I am in town, I should be available on relatively short notice. I will treat your home as it were my own and I will give your pets all the love and attention they deserve. I know that leaving your pet with a stranger can be stressful, so I am happy to meet ahead of time to make sure you and your pets are both comfortable with me. I will also communicate regularly while you are away so you can rest assured that things are good at home. In the case of an emergency, I will work with your protocols to get your pet immediate care.

Maria was very reliable and even showed up for us on Thanksgiving Day. She sent me a report every day to let me know how the visit went and how Lucy was doing. We hate leaving our Lucy alone for a few days but it was a great comfort to know she was taken such great care of by Maria while my daughter had to go out of town.
