About: I grew up with 2 cats, a dog, and crested gecko. I have pet sat since high school, watching over everything from an axolotl to a parrot! I currently live with 2 cats and would love to hangout with any of your furry or scaly babies. I have a pretty open school schedule and am around most of the time. My school days typically end around 1pm, but I am able to come back in between classes if needed. I plan to follow the owner’s instructions for pet care as everyone cares for their own a little bit differently. I have experience with senior animal care and would love to help out.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs since I was 6. I took main responsibility of my dogs when I was 9 years old and I have experience with many different breeds including Bully breeds. I know how to properly train, discipline, reward, feed, walk, and bathe pets. I am currently student at university so I would love to spend my weekends taking care of your pets. My schedule is flexible and I’m willing to spend my nights to watch your pets. I would also love to take afternoon walks and would love if your furry friends could join me. I respect any wishes you have for how you would like your pets to be within the house. I can keep your pet crated if you prefer or have them roam the house while keeping a close eye on them. I constantly pay attention to your pets and watch for any signs that they may show.

About: I grew up with dogs and have been around them my entire life. I currently have a 5 year old German Shepherd mix named Akari who is the absolute love of my life. I also, LOVE taking photos of pets. It's one of my favorite parts of doing Rover! I work Full Time 9am-5pm at the University of Maryland! About: In the past I had 1 childhood fur sibling (Yorkshire terrier) for 13 years. Currently I am dog mom to two fur babies. My oldest is a 6 year old 50lb pit mix and youngest is a 5 year old 175lb English Mastiff. In past years I ran an Airbnb out of my home in which I have hosted several dog guests with their human companions. My dogs are always excited to meet a new friend that visits. In the event a guest dog doesn't favor mine our policy was to keep everyone separate alternating food and bathroom breaks. My backyard is fenced with a six foot fence and the dogs can play or use the bathroom back there. My availability is currently fairly open as I pursue a new career working in the dog training industry. I'll take on clients in between my own education and training. My oldest dog, Rona is a 50lb 6 year old pit mix. My youngest dog Gemma is a 175lb 5 year old English mastiff. After 3+ years my dogs and I have had plenty of experience hosting dogs of all flavors of personalities. My back yard is fenced in and the side door that leads to it has a dog door. We typically have bathroom breaks every few hours or so until bed time. Upon arrival guest dogs and their human walk about the house and back yard to get the scents of everyone who lives within before re-meeting my dogs. I like to schedule a meet and greet before hand to see if all doggies will get along. I have discovered that some dogs are wary of large breed dogs. My Mastiff is VERY friendly and loves all dogs but unfortunately the love isn't always returned kindly.

About: I have grown up caring for a variety of different pets! My family has had dogs, indoor and outdoor cats, parakeets, gerbils, and fish. I love animals of all varieties and welcome the opportunity to help you care for your pets while you’re away! I also spent years pet sitting for dogs and cats for my neighbors growing up. I am available to provide house sitting, drop in care, and dog walking for your pets. I am based in College Park and will have a part time job at the University of Maryland this summer, so my schedule is flexible and I am able to accommodate your pets’ needs! I’m currently working a part time job in the DMV area and very flexibly to accommodate your pet’s schedule. I’m happy to schedule my days around their individual needs and requirements. I currently live in an apartment, so I am unable to take your pets into my home. In your home, I’m happy to accommodate your pets however needed! I am dedicated to learning your pets’ daily routine so that I can keep them happy and healthy while you’re away.

“Alayza was great! My husband and I had to leave town quickly for a funeral and Alayza came over the same day I put in my request to Rover so we could meet each other. I have a 16 yr. old Border Collie with kidney disease and a complicated diet and a need for two good walks a day. Alayza was willing to take our request and stayed at our house for some nights. When we returned after 5 days, the house was spick and span but more importantly, we have never seen our dog in such good spirits on a return from a trip!! We are so grateful for Alayza and plan to use her again in the future.”
