“Devin and Precious have been such a blessing for Mocha and for me. They treat Mocha with so much love, care, and attention, and it's clear that they genuinely care about her well-being. Mocha absolutely adores them, and hearing and seeing how excited she gets for her walks says it all. Their reliability, kindness, and dedication give me complete peace of mind each day they dropped in on her. I am incredibly grateful for everything they do and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, trustworthy dog walkers. I know I will be using their services again!!”

“Grace is absolutely amazing! I contacted her last minute to check in on my two huskies while I was out of town, and she did a fantastic job! She always kept me updated and sent pictures each day. She was very flexible and even fed them one day for me even though I had to ask at the last minute. It’s hard for me to leave my dogs, but she made it easier because I knew I could trust her to care for them! Highly recommend!!!!”

“Megan is an awesome person, so kind, professional and full of love for little furry friends. I’ll ask Megan for her service any time I have to let G home alone. I’m very strongly and heartfelt recommending Megan to take care of little four legs friends.”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of our three cats in a complex setting with the medical needs of one of them. We felt so much trust that everything would be OK while we were away thank you thank you.”

“Erica is wonderful. She is very professional and always on time. She gets along great with Rayne, who can be a little untrusting, so this is a very big accomplishment. She helped us out on short notice and we truly appreciate everything. We feel lucky to have found her and plan to book her again for all our doggy needs in the future. She is truly a delight.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
