“Izcali has been great with our two dogs! Both our dogs can be nervous around new people but they took to her very fast. She arrives on schedule each day and takes them out to stretch their legs and potty. She sends us adorable pictures and updates us on what they get up to. Thank you so much for looking after our babies!”

“Lilla has been amazing with our dog and communication with me. Lloyd was having severe anxiety and Lilla communicated with me every step of the way, on his behavior, shyness, and even when he got a bit aggressive towards her. She comforted him and gave him the space and attention he needed as we devised a plan. I appreciated her openness, understanding and thoughtful approach to our dogs needs!”

“Kaylynn was very observant and attentive to my Buddy’s needs. Greatly appreciated her going the extra step to ensure he was well taken care of and kept my mind at ease knowing he was in good hands Highly recommend and will use in the future. Thank you Kaylynn!”

“Erica has been super on-time and communicative, and was able to check in on my cat with a last-minute booking for one more day when our travel plan got delayed. Would recommend!”

“Ashley was amazing! She took such good care of my cat, Minnie, while I was gone for a week, giving her lots of attention and love (and snacks), and I appreciated all the pictures I got too 🥰”

“This is our second booking with Isabelle and she has been great both times. She is very responsive, sends lovely pics from her time with my pets and is very easy to work with. I will certainly go to her for a future booking”

“Keaton is truly a great cat sitter that I cannot recommend enough to others! Whether it's communication, attention to detail, taking photos/videos, or their natural ability to work with kitties, Keaton excelled in every aspect.”

“Your fur baby will be well looked after of with Daniela. She is very caring, thoughtful and has excellent communication and follow through. My dog fell in love with her. I was able to go out of town and feel confident that my girl was in good hands!”

About: As a teacher and cat owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’m patient, dependable, and pay close attention to each pet’s routine and personality. I also love keeping owners updated with photos and messages, because I know how reassuring it is to know your furry family member is happy and doing well. 🐾 I am an energetic teacher who has a summer off! So my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m excited to help out my fellow pet owners! I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible! Feeding them on time, making sure they have fresh water, and giving them plenty of attention and play. I keep their space clean, safe, and calm, and I always follow any special instructions you provide. I also send updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Rachel is amazing!! Bernard lights up when she comes for their Drop-in Visits! She never complains and always sticks to his schedule! I really appreciate her we're lucky to have found her!!”

About: I love animals and truly care about their well being! I give one on one care for each pet, making them feel safe and loved when you are away. As a new pet sitter I bring a fresh perspective to the job and am eager to learn each pet’s individual needs. I am comfortable with a variety of animals and adapting to there lives, offering gentle and attentive support. You can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands! Promise to keep you updated with photos and messages. Having a full-time job and study while also taking care of a pet requires good planning. I set aside specific times during off days and early mornings for pet visits so they have consistent times for playtime, walks, and feeding. I’ve arranged my schedule to fit your pet’s needs, but also to allow me to get my work and studying done. I also provide longer visits or overnight visits on weekends to give pet owners flexibility with extended care. I’m a firm believer in communication and I will send you updates and photos to keep you updated on your furry friend. This way I can ensure that my pet gets the attention and care he deserves, even with my busy schedule. My home visits give your pet their normal routine and comfort zone. First I make sure their basic needs are met, fresh food and water, clean litter boxes and regular walks or potty breaks. I do exactly what you say as far as feeding times, medication and exercise routines. In addition to the basics I like to play with your pet, cuddle and keep their mind busy to help avoid any anxiety or boredom. I also keep a close eye on their behavior, observing any changes in appetite, energy levels or bathroom habits, and I notify these observations to you as soon as possible. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing and fun experience for your pet while you are away giving you the peace of mind that they are in caring hands.
“We really appreciate Zach being available and taking such good care of our three cats and our one foster cat! He navigated our house well and treated all the cats with tenderness. Thank you!”

Emma is amazing with Santino! She takes such great care of him whenever we’re away. She sends photos after every visit, which gives us so much peace of mind, and it’s clear that Santino absolutely loves her. She even opened his Chewy box with him, which was such a thoughtful touch. We always know he’s in great hands with Emma, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Erica is wonderful. She is very professional and always on time. She gets along great with Rayne, who can be a little untrusting, so this is a very big accomplishment. She helped us out on short notice and we truly appreciate everything. We feel lucky to have found her and plan to book her again for all our doggy needs in the future. She is truly a delight.

For the third year Sharmily made sure Kitkat was well taken care of while we went on vacation. We were gone for two weeks, when we returned, Kitkat was still the happy cat we left. Thanks a million Sharmily, could not have been possible without you. Have a great summer.

Lindsay was great with Mocha today. I'm one of those pet owners that enjoy detailed updates along with photos. She handled Mocha's lil accident in the kitchen without any hesitation was very thoughtful and kind about the situation which is a major plus in my book along with being on time she was even arrived a few mins early!! Highly recommend her services!! Thank you so much Lindsay!!

I can't recommend her enough! She took such wonderful care of my two cats while I was away. She was incredibly responsible, reliable, and attentive throughout the entire time. She also kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my cats, not just completing the job. When I came home, my cats were happy, healthy, and well taken care of. I truly appreciate all of her hard work and kindness. I would absolutely trust her with my cats again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter!

We really appreciate Sarah being able to drop in on our cats with very short notice due to an emergency trip we had to take. Our kitties took to Sarah right away even though they have shied away from strangers before. I hope Sarah won't be a stranger to them for long because we will definitely request her as a sitter for any future trips we will take.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
