“Izcali has been great with our two dogs! Both our dogs can be nervous around new people but they took to her very fast. She arrives on schedule each day and takes them out to stretch their legs and potty. She sends us adorable pictures and updates us on what they get up to. Thank you so much for looking after our babies!”

“Maria was so wonderful with our cat Lucy. Lucy is a bit shy but I could tell from the pictures and videos Maria sent me daily that Lucy was comfortable and having a a great time with Maria’s company. Maria was very reliable and even showed up for us on Thanksgiving Day. She sent me a report every day to let me know how the visit went and how Lucy was doing. We hate leaving our Lucy alone for a few days but it was a great comfort to know she was taken such great care of by Maria while my daughter had to go out of town. I will definitely use Maria again if we need a pet sitter in the future and I’m so grateful for her wonderful care of our sweet Lucy.”

“This is our second booking with Isabelle and she has been great both times. She is very responsive, sends lovely pics from her time with my pets and is very easy to work with. I will certainly go to her for a future booking”

“Astrid is wonderful! She made us feel very comfortable to leave our cats with her. She would always go above and beyond and send us so many pictures. We will be booking with her again!”

“Ashley was fantastic with my cat Penny!! Very communicative throughout my entire trip. She was very patient and attentive with my cat, who can get anxious when I travel. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for care for their pets!”

“We really appreciate Sarah being able to drop in on our cats with very short notice due to an emergency trip we had to take. Our kitties took to Sarah right away even though they have shied away from strangers before. I hope Sarah won't be a stranger to them for long because we will definitely request her as a sitter for any future trips we will take.”

About: Hi! I love all animals and pets! I primarily have experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, birds, hamsters, hermit crabs, and horses as those are the pets I have owned growing up and through adulthood. Most of my care experience has been either for my own pets or for family and friends—all with glowing recommendations! I know basic AFA (Animal First Aid), however, I am not yet certified. I am confident caring for animals of all ages, young through senior. I can provide care for animals that need medications and those with asthma. I would love to take care of your fur babies! I currently work as a nanny to this sweet girl. She’s school aged so I mostly just handle afterschool pickup and care. My schedule may change once school ends late June, however, this can be discussed. It will most likely stay within the hours of the afternoon. My hours currently are 2pm-6pm every weekday. I do not work on the weekends and with afternoon pickup I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your fur babies! I am confident caring for all animals in any space. I am great at following directions, anything you leave will be followed to ensure your fur baby is well taken care of. I always make sure they are well fed, well maintained, and loved while their human is away. Each animal is different and the type of care given depends on the individual pet. All pets will be loved and looked after as if they were my own.
“Kaylynn was very observant and attentive to my Buddy’s needs. Greatly appreciated her going the extra step to ensure he was well taken care of and kept my mind at ease knowing he was in good hands Highly recommend and will use in the future. Thank you Kaylynn!”

“Brian took great care of Aslan. He carefully followed our instructions for Aslan's special food and medicine needs and was very gentle with our little old guy cat. 😊”

“Our kitties don't really like strangers, but they seemed to warm up to Carla based on the photos and updates she shared. They definitely seemed less stressed than when we've gone out of town in the past, so I know they were well cared for. We'll definitely have Carla watch them again!”

“Since the day I booked Camila, she was excellent!! I loved the fact that she asked if we could talk prior to her visits. It made us feel so good because she took that extra time to know more about the kitties. Our little fue babies loved her!!! We are extremely happy with her and, will absolutely book her again.”

“Lindsay is awesome! On time and super communicative. Her comfortability with Kai and overall experience is very comforting and Kai loved her. Looking forward to booking again soon!”

“We really appreciate Zach being available and taking such good care of our three cats and our one foster cat! He navigated our house well and treated all the cats with tenderness. Thank you!”

“Rachel is amazing!! Bernard lights up when she comes for their Drop-in Visits! She never complains and always sticks to his schedule! I really appreciate her we're lucky to have found her!!”

Astrid was so so wonderful -- incredibly prompt responses, incredibly kind, very thorough care-taking, and I've never seen my cats warm up to someone so quickly! Good vibes all around, and I feel like my cats are sad that I'm back and not Astrid hahaha. Sadly I'm moving states soon for my job, but if I weren't I would be re-booking Astrid every single time!!

For the third year Sharmily made sure Kitkat was well taken care of while we went on vacation. We were gone for two weeks, when we returned, Kitkat was still the happy cat we left. Thanks a million Sharmily, could not have been possible without you. Have a great summer.

Lindsay was great with Mocha today. I'm one of those pet owners that enjoy detailed updates along with photos. She handled Mocha's lil accident in the kitchen without any hesitation was very thoughtful and kind about the situation which is a major plus in my book along with being on time she was even arrived a few mins early!! Highly recommend her services!! Thank you so much Lindsay!!

Erica watched our cat Kot for 2 weeks with daily home visits and she was fantastic. We got photo updates after every visit, and it was so clear she genuinely loves cats. Kot’s warmed up to Erica fast — we even got pictures of him playing! Erica got to our cat new toys that he loves! Litter, food, and water were always taken care of, and she kept our home tidy. Coming back to a calm, happy Kot made our trip so much easier. We’ll definitely ask Erica again next time we travel.

I can't recommend her enough! She took such wonderful care of my two cats while I was away. She was incredibly responsible, reliable, and attentive throughout the entire time. She also kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my cats, not just completing the job. When I came home, my cats were happy, healthy, and well taken care of. I truly appreciate all of her hard work and kindness. I would absolutely trust her with my cats again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter!

We really appreciate Sarah being able to drop in on our cats with very short notice due to an emergency trip we had to take. Our kitties took to Sarah right away even though they have shied away from strangers before. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
