About: Hello! I am a PhD student at UMD studying black bear ecology. I have been an animal lover since I could talk. I own a German shepherd but I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life. I’ve watched many animals throughout the years for colleagues and friends. I’m new to rover sitting but I am reliable, will be very communicative, and provide the best care to your furry friend. I am a full time student, but I have very flexible hours. I’m open any time on the weekends, as long as I have a few days notice. I can be flexible to your needs! I’ll send you photos, updates on when I am coming and going, follow any rule you have etc. I will care for your animal like my own.
About: I love pets! I have experience house/dog sitting for clients that have taken vacations of up to 15 days. While house sitting, I can also bring in mail and water plants. In the past, I have been able to watch up to 2 dogs at a time. I love the exercise that comes from walking dogs, and I welcome dogs that have both high and low energy levels. When given specific instructions about caring for someone's dog, I always follow them, never letting my previous experience and "what I usually do" come before meeting the expectations of my clients. I have lived with at least one dog as a pet for 18 years of my life. Let me take care of your dog and be an extension of your love towards them when you cannot be there. I have graduate school classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, but I am free for pet care outside of those hours. I am flexible to work around your schedule. I’ve house sat and taken care of cats and dogs while I’ve lived in the house. I’ve also stopped by houses periodically to walk dogs and feed them. I’m open to both methods.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 10 years, I know how to bathe, feed, walk, and play with your dogs even train dogs (not certified). I’m usually always home because I don’t have a job currently, I’m always taking out my dogs every 2 hours because I have a senior. I’m offer dog walking, bathing, playing anything you need from me. Even if it’s feeding, giving them water, putting clothes on them, I can do it all.

We have two very large dogs, including a puppy who struggles with separation anxiety, so finding someone we trust to care for them is really important to us. He took the time to make sure both of my boys were comfortable, well cared for, and settled in. He even stayed longer than required to make sure they were calm and comfortable before leaving, which meant so much to us. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups. Maura met all of my pets needs while I was out of town for a week. She was easy to communicate with and spent time with our cats each visit. I knew our cats were in good hands and appreciated her pictures with them. I will definitely be checking with Maura the next time I need a cat sitter!
Another wonderful experience!! From the updates, great communication, and photos all through the entire drop in visit.. Trish does the hero job of locating all the balls that my girl plays with and sometimes “forgets” to bring back. She’ll also do sweet things like crumble up and cookie treat and toss it in L’s box 📦 . Our dog loves fetch and cardboard. 🤷♀️ We are very happy with Trish time. 🙌🏽

Iris is an excellent cat sitter. We have a timid cat, who waited at the door for her visits. Our cat was eager to continue her routine of being fed and hanging out playing with a laser. Iris kept her cat bowls clean and the cat litter box was kept in good order. We highly recommend her for cat care and I’m sure her dog care is equally good.
Madeleine was an awesome drop-in pet sitter for my parrot! She tried very hard to befriend my scared parrot, and left her nuts as treats. Communication was awesome, with Madeleine sending daily pictures and special collages she had created. I’ll definitely use her again.
Nichole took care of my two cats (and my plant) while I was gone for two days. One of my cats is anxious but he warmed up to her, much to my surprise (he usually hides when guests are over). She was also very gracious and accommodating when my itinerary changed at the last minute. I highly recommend her as a cat sitter and would work with her again.
