I work full-time as a psychotherapist, both from home and in the office. Because of this my midday availability can be limited, but mornings/evenings and weekends are much more flexible. For house sits, my availability is limited to 4 nights. I also keep my calendar accurate and up to date.

To ensure that everyone is safe, I never let any dog that I’m walking or caring for off leash when outside the home. Because of this I’m not comfortable going to dog parks unfortunately.
Information Allison S. would like to know about your pet
I’m comfortable with nearly any dog, including most sizes and all energy levels. However, I need to know any behavioral issues your dog has, with the most important one being any kind of territorial behavior. ***I do not feel comfortable caring for territorial or potentially human aggressive dogs.*** Besides this, please let me know if your animal has any dietary restrictions or necessary medications :) For the most part, I try to keep the dogs I’m walking away from other dogs just as a precaution. However, please let me know if you’d like me to allow them to say hello!
A typical day
I love getting a basic outline of your dog’s favorite routes, and then go explore from there! I also love playing fetch with both dogs and cats if you’d believe it. Also rest assured that your pet is receiving all of the lovin’ that they want, even if that’s none for the more shy kitties.

Pet care experience
I’ve had animals basically all of my life, and growing up in Michigan I helped care for my family’s many dogs, cats, and puppies. I’ve been on Rover for over two years now, and loving every second! Throughout this experience, I’ve gained knowledge on how to care for dogs and cats of all maintenance levels. I’m comfortable with dogs of most sizes and all energy levels, and I have experience walking dogs both trained and untrained. I’m active and caring, your animals will be safe with me!
